The shop was great and our estimator Ricardo was too! He was very informative, courteous, kind, and professional. They took care of our Jeep as if it was their own! The repairs were completed as promised on time as well. There were two dings outside the damage area of the same door (using insurance for the repairs) and forgot to ask how much it would be to take care of those too at the same time. When I picked up, I immediately noticed the dings were gone! I asked Ricardo to let him know I forgot to ask how much it would be and he said the tech took care of them and cleaned up the panel for us for no additional charge since they weren’t that bad anyways I would highly recommend, repairs turned out great, and the color match was spot on for a seamless repair! Can’t even tell it was ever damaged!!!

Cold call walk in; went there for a quote for some body work for my baby and I received one in less than 20 mins even though I didnt have an appointment. Had my son with me and it was a hot day. They have a nice waiting room with refreshments that we appreciated. Front desk worker was very nice to my son which I appreciated 👍I am still waiting for quotes from other places in the area. Dont bother just go here first!

My husband and I were hit by another car that caused significant damage to body of our car. We didnt have a place we trusted so we asked the insurance company they suggested 3 places and we decided to go with Alfred Matthews Collision Center. We are so grateful we did! The whole thing went very smoothly and we were kept updated through all of it. Heather went above and beyond, she is very friendly and helpful. There was a mix up with the rental car shuttle that was supposed to pick me up and as soon as Heather noticed I was still waiting she immediately called to have them come over right away so I could get to work. She even took steps to make sure that the mix up doesnt happen in the future. Heather called the next day to let us know that there was additional damage under everything and the parts had been ordered. She confirmed I had got into a rental ok and said that she was notifying the insurance company and the car rental with the expected time frame so we didnt have to make any of the calls. The text updates they sent were very helpful, it was nice to see that they were staying on track so we didnt have to worry. We got the car on the expected day, it looks great! Its as if there was never any damage. They even vacuumed out the inside and wiped down everything which was a pleasant surprise. It was in desperate need of a detailing but it hadnt happened due to COVID. It now looks cleaner than it has in a long time. We will definitely bring our cars here if its ever needed in the future...hopefully its not though, haha.

I have use Alfred Mathews once before in the past and was treated with poor attitude and just figured they had a bad day but today I went to take 2 of my cars to them and was treated just the same and told they didnt want to fix my car because I would not sign a waver that stated if anything was stolen they would not be responsible, why would any one sign such a thing? They must have a bunch of crooks working therethat they have to cover for, if my car is in your locked shop and you have trusted people working for you there is no need for that.

I was recommended to take my truck to this place and I regret it! They let me to take my truck home without working brakes, and without properly working signal lights. They stole my registration and plate sticker that was inside my truck and disarmed my alarms. Overall horrible service. They are NOT professional!! (Kaly) and don’t know what they are doing. Do Not Bring Your Cars here!!

They did not give the vehicle back when they told us, and they also said the price had to keep going up. Which usually happens with insurance claims anyway. They didn’t inform me my vehicle wasn’t finished, instead I just received a text that I could pick it up and then thank god I called them in order to receive the information. There was also some type of material left on my driver side window. So have to take vehicle back for that.They did give us an okay discount since there were so many issues. So hit or miss with there time.

If you value your time, your vehicle, or your life DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE. My car was here for two weeks to repair damage from a low speed accident. Upon pickup, my hood was not bolted down properly. Alarming, right? It gets worse. Almost every single light on my dash was on. According to Eddie, the service advisor, he personally called the dealership and they said to drive it around for a couple days and they should turn off. Should? TPMS, ABS, steering, and a flashing alert to CHECK CHARGING SYSTEM, and they SHOULD turn off? My only options according to him were to leave it there for a few days, bring it back if it doesnt go away, or take it to Honda. Why would I take a car FROM A REPAIR FACILITY DIRECTLY TO ANOTHER REPAIR FACILITY?!? This makes no sense.My husband (who is a mechanic) found out when we got home that none of the electrical system had been reattached to the battery, the air filter housing hadnt been bolted down NOR REATTACHED and had to go out and buy hoses ourselves, as they were then closed. There was also a box full of bolts and pieces in my trunk, and who knows where those belong. They did not reattach nor drill holes for the front license plate holder. All in all this has been an awful experience.This has been a headache and will continue to be one for some time as things are still being uncovered that were done improperly. Save time and frustration and go elsewhere. UPDATE: almost three months later were fighting these guys to pay for the rental car I had to use while my mechanic (not my spouse) fixed $1700+ (!!!) worth of work they didnt do. Total rip off. This place is shadier than shady. Stay away.

The Alfred Matthews in Modesto was very good about communicating with us, got our car back when they said, and treated us with the decency one would expect from a place of business. Because they were booked a month out, we made the mistake of taking our car to Turlock hoping for the same experience. We were told our car would be ready on Friday, given text updates and a link to follow the progress that all told us our expected pickup time. When we arrived, our car was not ready. They acted as though it was our responsibility to call them to find out if there had been any delay and whether or not it was ready. After I pointed out that we had used the tools they gave us that all said our car was on schedule, the man we spoke with told us that they were unable to update those tools to accurately reflect any unforeseen delays. Miraculously, they were able to update it immediately after we left and able to update it again today to a later time after my husband called to confirm that no again our car is not ready when they said. We were also told that he would speak to his manager about what they could do to fix the inconvenience of not informing us that our repairs would take another 5 days and costing us a wasted trip and effort. Apparently all they could do was once again push the completion time making another inconvenient scheduling issue for us. This business does not seem to value honesty or their customers time.

Best place in the Central Valley for auto body repair! I have a 2001 Corvette in Millennial Yellow. It is difficult to match to say the least. Alfred Mathews not only made the gouge on the lower rocker disappear, they matched the color and clear coat EXACTLY. It was so good, I found the paint guy and shook his hand. They take a lot of pride in what they do. They may not be the cheapest, but they are worth far more than what they charge.

The worst body shop I have ever been too! I took my 2016 Toyota Tundra after I got hit and it was nothing but waiting. Never once did they follow up with me on the status of my vehicle or any supplemental damages which I had to call my insurance to find out. However this isnt even the worst part. The worst part is when I went to pick up my truck I found a huge dent on the tailgate, which wasnt even damaged during my accident. When I asked them what happened they got very defensive and starting telling they werent liable and the truck was not damaged by them even though I had not seen or driven my truck since I drove it to them a month prior. I called my insurance and got them to fix up my truck on their dime. Overall very horrible experience and I personally have told my insurance to never recommend them again! And as an update I needed supplemental work from another shop for my truck. Screw these guys!

This place took forever to fix my brothers car after he got in a car accident and then as soon as he got the car home, it would not work. We called and they towed the car back and said that the car wouldnt work because there was no gas in the car. They gave us 15 miles of gas and when the car was brought back to the company, they told us there was still 13 miles of gas in the car.But apparently there was no gas? The engine was still working and the car still had gas in it. They were EXTREMELY rude and condencending about the situation. They told us that 15 miles of gas is dangerous and told us off for being so irresponsible for not watching our gas WHEN THEY HAVE BEEN DRIVING OUR CAR FOR A MONTH AND THEN DIDNT GIVE US ENOUGH GAS TO GO TO A GAS STATION. Alfred and Matthews did not handle this situation well at all, being extremely rude, and did not do a good job of fixing our car at all. I would not recommend going here, ever. My family has been having problems with them for over a month, just to get our car back and fixed. Do not go here.

Terrible my truck got in a t-bone reck ruining the door.so we took it here. And the trunk of the truck had a lot of debris and car parts in it. It also had what looked to be chicken bones in there disgusting! They also left a screw of of the visers holder area saying it was like that before the wreck. The license plate was also really badly bent and they said it was also like that before the wreck! Finally my car a door where it holds the other one closed and now we have to slam the door for it to close and no matter how hard we close it we still hear air. Oh yeah we also hear something rattling when we drive with a click noise to. So please if you have a better option go there not here.

Two cars, same thing, lousy fit and finish. Missing fasteners, huge gap between the hood and front valance, runs in the paint as well as fish eyes and dust.I dont recommend these guys unless you like taking cars back for repairs to the repairs. I can say that their color matching was spot on.

Worst place! I had my front door fixed and they missed up my window, it does not go up anymore, also the door gets stuck and it does not close unless you pull on the handle RIDICULOUS! The manager tried to say it was wear and tear SERIOUSLY! worst service Ive ever had on my car. I am so upset with this place I am trying to work with them to fix the issues but they are saying its up to the insurance. Im so frustrated. I would not recommend this place at all.

HORRIBLE HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! My insurance referred me there and it was the Worst mistake ever! From the greet to the service no good. I walk in and it takes someone about 10 minutes to realize Im there needing help. (theres a door bell when you walk in) then the person that helps acts like its an inconvenience me asking for assistance. Finally someone walks outside with me to take my info about my car and then the employee acts as if Im lying about the damage. Im like WTH? Very rude guy! Then we walk back in and he says wait here Ill be back with some info... he returns and says will order the part and it will be in on Tuesday (Its Friday) Im like ok perfect thanks see you then. Well I never hear from them so I call my insurance on Tuesday, which is the day I was supposed to hear from this horrible place and my insurance says yes they gave us a quote and its less then your deductible so it come out of pocket and just call them back and they take care of you. So I call them back and they act like they dont know what the heck Im talking about but finally they figure it out and tell me some more BS, will order the part and will call you. So Im ok take a deep breath act like they didnt already tell me this BS already. So no word from them for a week... so Im like well lets call them and follow up. So I call and the lady that answers at first is very sweet on the phone once I tell her the reason of my call she becomes so rude and almost offended by my call/question... and she says, THE PART IS NOT IN ILL CALL YOU WHEN ITS DOES OK? Im like oooook.... well now almost a month later still no word from them. I went some where else and got my car repair same day and $200 CHEAPER!!!!! plus most importantly GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WOULD OF PAID WHATEVER BUT THIS PLACE FROM HELL DOESNT WANT BUSINESS OR COULD CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS. NEVER EVER GO TO THEM AGAIN! WASTE OF TIME!

I unfortunately have not been a nice driver this year ad have had to use their services 4 times this year. And every time they were understanding, non-judgmental and provided excellent service.Here are pictures of my 1994 Honda DelSol that I am restoring to be a future collectable car. There are before& during (u must wait for the after pictures, some woman who does not know what a rear view mirror is backed into my fender so right now it is going back there for a third time.)
