Super friendly staff. Clean store. Aisles all stocked, fresh organic produce. Meat selection is great. Friendliest pharmacy.

Always very clean, and the employees friendly and helpful

We like to go in the evening to avoid large groups of groups of people. We do prefer Albertsons over Safeway and also visit in the evenings. Both grocery stores have well lit parking lots.

Masks are back for the staff and most customers are masked, too. Flu shots available now as well as appointments for eligible patients for Covid 3rd shot.Always clean and the workers are friendly and helpful.

Really fantastic deli options right now. The Johnsonville jalapeño cheddar sausages are all out right now but the d3li has jalapeño cheddar sausages for a $1 right now

I love Safeway. Its always clean and the aisles are not obstructed by boxes and displays. It makes it easier to keep social distancing.

No fresh bagels, as usual. I bought 2 pieces of fresh baked carrot cake and a white cake with berries. Both were half the size of the pieces i bought last week. A low-rent way for you to save a penny. Also ot was half the sizes, but the same price as last week. Fed up.

Kelly the front cashier was very rude &” basically threw our groceries onto the bagging area she was also super rude too a customer behind us by telling her she can’t take that many items I always try too be polite too anyone who works in customer service but I believe Kelly really needs too work on her customer service skills

We just relocated near this Safeway. I was pleasantly surprised how open the aisles are. The produce is one of the best I have seen at a Safeway in Tucson. The employees are friendly and welcoming. The greeter was a breath of fresh air. Reminded me of how businesses use to treat customers. Products are well stocked and maintained. I hope the management really appreciates their employees are they are the heart of the store from what I could see.

This is my favorite Safeway location. The only issue I have is, when I check my receipt, I always, at least 90% of the time I shop there, weekly . . . I always have a discrepancy on my receipt after I pay, then I have to go Customer Service to fix it. Its not the cashiers fault, but somebody needs to make sure the prices will scan right, it could be the J4U coupon or other sale items, or the listed prices on the shelves, but for me, its always something. Still my favorite store. 🙂

My roommate gets groceries here all the time and it has sales all the time which make the products worth it.

Actually love this Safeway more than the others but the chicken tenders are always way overcooked and you can hardly cut them with a knife!

I miss the one that used to be at Camino Seco and BroadwAy.That is why I moved to the area. I didnt have to cross streets. MNow I do. Walmart neighborhood market doesnt have a real butcher and a Deli where you get fresh chicken tenders, sandwiches made to order,fresh on the spot.But small trade off British Authentic fish and chips.somewhat a trade off.No Mc Veetiesdigestive biscuits anymore.

This was the first time I have been to this Safeway. It is in a good area on the East side of town. On the inside it was clean, the staff was friendly and everything was stocked. It was also set up just like the safeway I usually go to, so it was easy to find what I needed. I know buying the precut fruit is always hit or miss, but they definitely had good fruit. I would come back if ever on that side of town again.

Its not the greatest store around.

Somewhat disappointing. I bought a 18 pk of Bud light, assuming that the just for you coupon applied on the purchase. The just for you a coupon had a picture of Budwiser, not Bud light, the coupon should have said on it only on regular Budwiser purchases. I went to customer service and was notified that the coupon price did not apply on Bud Light. The employee @ 1984 was professional throughout the conversation and tried to resolve it by me exchanging the Bud Light for an 18 pk regular Budwiser. I chose not to but all of this was somewhat confusing.

I moved to Tucson recently and have been shopping at this Safeway (Albertsons) for a while. Im happy with this brunch even if new hires and exhausted workers (Cashiers) can be a little snappy. Definitely I like Just For You deals every week.

No jalapeno bread and my heart is broken... So off to another Safeway bakery! Trust me, fresh soft warm slightly spicy(when you get the yummy jalapeno bite) delicious with or without anything on it... My mom likes with butter, my daughter loves fresh n warm without the halls but yes to the cheese and I love it all! Go for it and dont forget, the bakery girls n guys can bake you that yummy jalp. Bread and hold it for you for anytime you need the next day! Love them!!!

Nice clean premises and Selina, the young lady who rang up my goods was most pleasant. I always enjoy coming to this location because it is always clean and workers are very courteous.

This Safeway is pretty good, not the best in Tucson not the worst but there isnt anything all that amazing about it. The only thing I could say about this one that is different than others is that the Safeway feels old, its not written down or anyting it just doesnt feel like theyve added anything since good 90s.

The store has all these covid precautions set up, which I appreciate, but the manager disregards social distancing AND personal space... Sanitized carts, social distanced floor stickers, one way aisles, and signs at check out asking for only 1 persons items on the belt at a time.All of that is pointless when the store manager and employees dont respect social distancing! During checkout, there were 2 lanes open side by side. I was trying to leave my lane when the manager and another employee walked up my lane to get to another cash register. I had 3 employees and 2 other customers within arms reach. Had the store manager waited an extra 15 seconds, I would have been able to move myself and my cart out of the checkout lane to allow adequate spacing. The store manager was so close to me that I could smell her shampoo and another employee brushed against me when she squeezed by. Thats too damn close, even before covid.

It was the Raceway but the Google maps was off on navigation. Garth Brooks Live was not live!!!!Still had a great time...Girls night out...

They have a really good deli section, good beer selection, a really good liquor selection, fresh fruits and vegetables if youre into that sort of thing. The meets a little expensive but hey, everything is.

This Safeway, Houghton and Broadway is my favorite grocery store! Very clean, isles are big, all items are displayed for easy viewing. Most of all, the staff are superb in interactions with shoppers. I love, love this store. Please keep it open. I missed it terribly when it wasnt Safeway.

Went there for the deli wanted twice baked potato it was not baked it was raw. Requested ambrosia salad was none. Chicken strips looked as if it had been there all day. There was no fresh cooked roast or potato wedges. Over all I was sorry I drove that far.

I didnt know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised by this store. Prices are good across everything I purchased. The fresh fruit and vegetables were some of the broadest selections Ive seen in a store this size. Similar variety was available in the meat department, too. Aesthetically speaking, everything was very clean and organized.

The store is always friendly, yes. There are a number of new employees who are not enforcing mask laws at all.

Opened newly purchased coffee creamer to find it to be sour. Employee must of put it back on the shelf when it should have been thrown away. Id suggest you train your staff better before they get someone really sick.

This is one of my favorite Safeway is because of the good customer service. Whenever I am looking for an unusual item I can come here and find a staff person who is willing to assist me or offer an alternative. The store is always well stocked and well lit. They seem to have enough personnel. I just love coming here.

Safeway is nice!

They have this app to get sale discount. Why ask customers to do more steps instead of just giving the sale price. Cashier said she can only check if discount can be applied couple of numbers...sounding like a lot of work for her. Just go to Walmart...they have better price without sale and have much more enthusiastic store personnel.

This Safeway is as good as any of the others in Tucson. Clean, well lite, well stocked from produce, meat, can goods and more. The employees are helpful, knowledgeable of their store products. I would recommend this store without a problem.

I shop at this Safeway frequently, its very nice, very well kept, very clean, everything is very easy to find. Every time I go in I have a positive experience. Their workers there are very helpful. theres a two-part Deli 1/2 is for making sandwiches and things to order for lunch for the local community to come in and purchase. And the other half is your average lunch meat Deli. They have great customer service and I can clearly see that the people employed there genuinely care about their job. I generally shop in the produce department every time I go in there is a produce clerk out and billing which makes me feel great about buying produce there. I highly recommend this grocery store to everyone.

I have shopped at this Safeway location for years! My husband and I will continue shopping here. Always clean, employees are always willing to help without the attitude that you are interrupting them.Ruth and Monica, two wonderful cashiers, usually in the express lines are the best!! But we can’t leave out Louis another cashier, Stephen (a bagger), and David (another bagger). They always have smiles on their faces and say “thank you”.Thanks you guys, you make grocery shopping fun even during checkout!

Everything is kept fresh, well organized, and clean. Employees do theyre part, polite, and hasteful. However, they are extremely understaffed... Expect long lines and long wait times through the checkout lines at this location. Ive never seen more then 3 registers open at any time.
