Picked up some sweet black Van slip-ons from this store for $50. Store isn’t too busy in the morning.Also, the staff was very kind and answered some of my questions about working in the area. Seems like an ideal place for a person in need of shoes :)

At first I was really happy with employee at the El Con Mall Ivan the Crocs I wound up buying were on sale which was a pleasant surprise plus my phone number brought up a $10 coupon so I only wound up paying almost $33. But I came back in today to exchange them for more expensive pair not only did I not get the $10 coupon applied because I think they dont know how to but they also did not credit me the tax I paid on my first purchase so I paid again the balance of the shoes plus tax which I would say included about $3 of tax that I paid the first time. Employees said the tax doesnt count but the credit they gave me was $30 when I paid almost $33. I would not be upset over $3 but it would have been nice to be able to have the $10 coupon that they Gave me the first time.And yes I did inquire online after about 15 minutes sitting out in the sun to find that they dont deal with store issues 🤣🤣🤣

They fool you saying they have a clearance rack. You go to that rack and most of the shoes on it are not on clearance they just put it there because they have one pair left. Place is a rip off. Will never shop there again.

Just returned a pair of shoes I wore these shoes for a month I noticed today I was having an issue with the shoes I called the store explain to them what was going on and that I am a truck driver and I did not have the receipt they looked me up on my account told me to bring the shoes in and they would have the rest oh I did so didnt think it would be that easy 2 Exchange my shoes without a receipt love this place they take care of their customers big shout out to the workforce at Shoe Carnival much prop to you guys to you all thank you for being good hard to find a place thats stands behind their word

Not very many choices and they had no organization to there selections everything is mis-shelved nothing is where its supposed to be and some of the shoes werent even displayed. Open up a box and it would be a random shoe that you cant find displayed anywhere. Pretty much its just a shot of luck to find a shoe you like

Whats the point in keeping shoes in the back so they dont get stolen if you cant find them to sell to customers. Store could not sell me a PAIR of shoes as they had misplaced the other half.....to both shoes I brought to checkout.

Some of the shoes are not even brands I have heard of, and other name brands were the same price as other stores so I was a little surprised. They also didnt have any dressy flats at all. Probably wont come back to shop here, but maybe others may like this place better.

Tried to return a pair of boots I had bought a line and because I had tried them on to see how they fit they would not take them back saying that they soles looked dirty I told them that I just tried them on and took a couple of steps but they were to tight and I just wanted to exchange them but they refused. I hot the same response from customer service online too

I ordered two different sizes for Air flight legacys both were damaged and not only did the manager at that time and the rest of the employees there they continued to offer me another pair that were in way worse condition but the rep wanted to say that when orders are placed they dont ship them from the store both of my shoes were sent from this location and they were both display shoes then tells me that they could discount 5 dollars per pair these shoes cost 67 dollars a piece for them being display shoes then on the size 7 shoe that was there the manager was peeling off glue asking her rep what it was then also says theyll clean the shoes NO I DO NOT WANT SHOES THAT ARE MESSED UP I WOULD LIKE TO TEAR THEM UP MYSELF. THIS STORE NEEDS TO GET IT TOGETHER I WAS ALSO TOLD THAT MY EMAIL I HAD I MADE UP LOL MY NUMBER WAS NOT IN THE SYSTEM NORE THE EMAIL BUT YET I HAVE TOMS OF NOTIFICATIONS AND TO TOP IT OFF I GET TOLD THAT THE SHOES WERE NOT SENT FROM THEM BUT THEY STORE NUMBER IS ON THE CONFORMATION AND FOR THE LARGER SIZE SHOE THAT WAS RECEIVED MAY 7TH THEY TRIED TO SAY THE SHOE WAS ORDERED 3 MONTHS AGO AND THEY REFUNDED THEm SO THAT RIGHT THERE ALONE LET ME KNOW MY SHOES WERE SHIPPED TO SOMEONE ELSE THEM.....

This place sucks its so hard to navigate through this store nothing is organized the shoes are all mixed together and the box you might need is more then likely on the bottom of the tower of shoe boxes. Sizes are sparse the quality of these sneakers are basic with high marked prices and boring dated styles. I am positive I will never come here again.

My family and I enjoy shopping here. We have always been able to find good deals and quality shoes, and the customer service is always excellent.

The only reason I give this place a single star is because it won’t let me put negative stars on it. My girlfriend and I thought we would treat my brother to a new pair of shoes for his birthday. She wanted a pair as well, so we bought 2 pairs instead of one. The moment we walked in we were followed and treated like criminals. I’m 53, my brother is 49 and my girlfriend is 32. We were dressed appropriately for the weather and were not wearing torn or battered clothing. There was no reason for the rudeness we experienced and I have never been treated that poorly in memory. I will be sending a letter to their corporate office.

I sure miss Payless Shoe Stores. Its a big store but more of a shoe dungeon than a carnival. Not alot of variety of shoes. Especially for work shoes. Their policy of refunds/exchanges is very firm. One little ding anywhere or any tiny bit of some sort of wear and its an automatic exchange. SMH. I hope something like Payless comes back or something like it. Prices are high too.

Low quality shoes. Almost no stock in womens sizes 5 to 5.5. Even 6s hard to find.In any size, youll get better quality and prices at sales in good department stores or online at Am a zon.

I was at this store on the first day they opened. I have to confess, I am an shoe maniac!!! This shoe store opened at the EL Con Mall last year and it was a huge hit. Beside shoes, they also have several different types of purses, socks and ect. As of right now they are still getting shoes in stock so it appears they will get shoes in all the time. The price is very good.. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!

This store was so disorganized and filthy I considered walking out. But I wanted house slippers SO bad that I asked . The three ladies that worked there today were all at the front of the store talking to each other and looking at their phones. Boxes were piled at the back of the store. It was an abomination

I made the mistake of bringing a friend here on his bday to buy him shoes. In the 5 minutes it had taken me to break off from him to browse the womens section, a female african american employee had chosen to make him feel super uncomfortable by singling him out, invading his shopping space, stereotyping him, asking security to escort him out, telling him that he was no longer allowed at that store & that he would be charged with trespassing if he ever came back. This is all because HE WAS WEARING A POOFY JACKET. My friend understandably became very upset by this because he had no intention of stealing from this store, nor did he appreciate being treated like he was. He was confused as to why his clothing made him a target & more so as to why he was ultimately banned from there for choosing to voice his opinion about it.Im not sure if this store has a problem with theft or if their employees were misinformed during training by telling them do their best to pick out individuals whom wear poofy jackets into their store & to not let their guard down or put it past them that they will not steal, because they absolutely will(like toddlers o& elderly people too or...?)I made a point to mention that this employee was african american because of the fact that she decided to use the same judgemental tactics against my friend as Im sure she has had to have been the victim of in a similar experience at least once in her life?! Either way, Im not only enraged by this incident, but Im so unbelievably embarrassed by the way the situation began, the way it escalated & even more about how it was handled. Its unfortunate that she decided to waste her & the security guards valuable time & energy on THIS not only because it disabled them from noticing the growing customer audience & losing multiple sales(2 other families who were audience witnesses chose to follow behind us as we left the store)but since their entire attention was focused on this petty nonsense, they wouldve easily been giving an open opportunity for any legitimiate thieves to steal anything they desired in the store during this time.Its been enough for me to decide on taking the necessary steps in contacting a coporate official & more so for the bigger picture in this incident which is the urgency for additional training on customer stereotyping, harassment, wrongful accusations & the education on these topics possible legal consequences. I do not plan on ever returning to shoe carnival, but Id like to think that Im helping to avoid similar future situations from happening to my fellow Tucsonans.
