Furniture in the raw built a office and cabinets for dining area. I am so impressed with the quality and construction.Absolutely easy to work with even finished early.Alberto was very knowledgeable and the installation was clean quick and beautiful. Enjoyed working with Alberto and his crew.We needed a wall bed and wanted one made of actual wood and not MDF/particle board that you get on line. Plus we wanted to support a local business.We experienced a small issue with the bed and Alberto was on it right away. He sent his guys out the next day to pick up the bed, fixed the problem in the shop and delivered the bed back to us in a couple of days. Can’t get better customer service than that! Hard to find that kind of customer service these days.We will use Furniture-in-the-Raw for any future furniture needs.

Just moved to the area and our house has a large wall where we thought having a custom built bookcase and storage unit would be nice. I searched on google for custom woodworkers and found this place. We went there today to view the showroom and look at the quality of work. We were met by a male employee that asked us what we were looking for. I told him and he said, oh that would be a custom build. I said I figured and proceeded to show him a picture from the stores website that I really liked and asked if this was a piece they had done recently and he said that it was old picture and he then walked away. Shocked and stunned that he didn’t care to talk about making a custom piece. After standing there for a minute, we just left. I don’t know how they stay in business with that kind of customer interaction. They literally just lost out on thousands of dollars because the employee didn’t want to talk to us about making a custom piece. Maybe they don’t do that anymore but I wouldn’t know because he just walked away. Dumbstruck.

We just got our delivery...a pantry, island, and table & chairs. They were stained to match our antique hutch and the color couldnt be more perfect. The craftsmanship is superb!Our first set that didnt come from Wal-Mart! The men who delivered and set it up were great, personable, and friendly! Thanks guys!We are extremely pleased!

Wow we were really bothering the sales person on duty. When asked to answer a question for us about a unit we were interested in he did not want to take the time to find out the answer.I asked what the size of the cabinets were We were interested in and he could not tell us, I asked if he could call the manufacturer and get the dimensions for the cabinet and it totally ruined his day. He took our number and said he would call us “ after lunch” but never called us back. Actually I feel we are lucky because if this is the level of service they give I want nothing to do with them.

We had them build a console to run along the wall I even made a print all dimensions were on print. Price was really a lot for something so simple.Went to pick up and the whole unit was not built proper everything was off center right side shelve and cubby longer then left side.The divider for middle shelve to top of cabinet we’re at least 6-7 inches from one side to other so obvious no toe board as was on print. So unit had to be reworked well toe board was suppose to be built so your foot would slide under they added a 2in piece to other bottom of base I didn’t want it raised higher I wanted a toe board set back per print plus a lot of bad scrap wood was used splintered from the blade of the saw the sides of drawers had pieces of wood that had channel where a saw blade was use looked it was a mistake from another job that they did I took it home it sat in garage till I got the time to sand and repair the splintered areas needless to say was a job I should have refused. All in all measuring is not their specialty will not buy from again I had bought sum other items 6-7 years prior really good quality what happened? Also 2 drawers are same size and the 3rd is different lenght look close and you can tell I found out when I went to put drawers back in didn’t fit

I ordered a cabinet and desk, but I wanted the finish to match a Murphy bed that had been in the room for years. It is white washed, but had yellowed some. They matched it perfectly! Their furniture is made of real wood. The owner was very helpful with many suggestions, which I was grateful for. The installers were great, very careful and courteous. I am extremely happy with my new furniture.

Dont bother. I ordered from here recently expecting higher quality furniture given the prices. Not only did it take two more weeks than what they had told me but the furniture I ended up with was wobbly & cracked. Never again.

My experience has been very thoughtful with both Alberto and Sara Bien-Willner. My husband and I came into the Furniture in the Raw showroom to see the Wall bed display. Alberto was accommodating to my request for a shaker style front and placing a panel in the recessed open back part of the wall box which was done exactly as it was in photo that I shared with Alberto. My request for a window bench was made with two lateral file drawers. The Desert Design Center and Sara Bien-Willner made my shopping convenient to obtain an Ashley mattress for the wall bed. Delivery and installation of the custom furniture was worth the charge as the mattress was placed and secured in the frame at the same delivery. I recommend anyone needing custom made furniture to come to Furniture in the Raw. The same goes for mattresses for the wall bed conveniently located across the street from the showroom at Desert Design Center. (I had a custom made cushion for the bench made at Fabrics That Go on Campbell that topped off the look.

Was looking for dining room chairs. Found ver comfortable chairs and chose red stain. Wow I was so happy with the result. Wish I could upload a picture. Ill try the fbook page.

I ordered a side table from them on Saturday December 1st. The table was from stock, but I was paying for them to stain the table. They promised the table would be ready in one week (at the latest). I called on Saturday December 8th and was told the table would be ready Wednesday or Thursday (December 12th or 13th). The guy was not at all apologetic. I called back on Thursday December 13th and was told by the same guy Tuesday or Wednesday of the following week (December 18th or 19th). Again not at all apologetic. When I challenged him on it he was extremely rude and had a deal with it attitude. He said their painter hasnt shown up. I asked him if the following Tuesday or Wednesday was a guarantee or would I be put off again. He said it wasnt a guarantee. While I want the table, if it isnt ready on the 19th, Ill tell them what they can do with the table.In response to the owners reply. Ive added a copy of my invoice where 1 week was written. Next the table was ready on Monday December 17th. I went there and they had stained it the wrong color (mahogany instead of dark mahogany). They then had it ready on the 19th (11 days late). Never was any apology given. I was only ever treated as an inconvenience.
