Update to previous post: After I got home, the shop called and said the tech didnt torque the lug nuts! They wanted me to return to have it done. Huh? So, bought a torque wrench and socket and did it myself. Im out more than their refund.LONG LONG appointment.Had a 1000 am appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Told them I was going to wait when I booked it. Was there before 1000. Got done at 1150.I had to wait in the past for another service, but overlooked it that time.

I initially took my car (2009 Honda Fit) to the dealer for an AC recharge. When I was finally (after almost three hours) provided with an estimate it was a whopping $2,500. Luckily I was chatting with a friend at the time who recommended that I contact Breathe Easy and get a second opinion. Im extremely glad I took that advice!. My AC is blowing fridge-cold and my bank balance is only $129.00 smaller. They were easy to work with, professional, fast, and honest. Plus its a woman-owned business -- bonus!!

Super friendly, down to earth. A woman mechanic, ac in the waiting room, water, magazines. Reasonable prices and didnt nickel and dime for labor. I watched them interact w a couple of elderly people, and they were patient and kind. A dog in the lobby, different kinds of chairs: recliner, high dining chairs at a table, Adirondack chair, straight back for various needs. Parking lot is gravel, so not super easy if one is wheelchair bound. But, they are an unknown awesome in the area.

I really am happy to have found Breath Easy. I have 2 daughters that have cars and am always trying to find somewhere that I can trust not to scam them. And Breathe Easy is trustworthy, fair priced and does really great work. I will start taking my Jaguars to them as well when it isnt in warranty anymore.

Breathe Easy Automotive is a great place to take your car to be fixed. The people are friendly and informative like a down home small town business. They want to make sure they fix your problem and help you out. My car suffered from electrical problems due to pack rats. The mechanics here found and replaced the needed parts so I could get in my car without it going crazy and the alarm going off and locking up the car like I was trying to steal it. They have also done other work on the car to keep it running well, its a 1998 Dodge Grand Caravan and has a lot of miles on it so I appreciate all that can be done to keep it running. I know when I take it to them they will figure out the problem and then fix it with a reasonable price. Its good to be able to trust a garage like this.

I decided on BREATHE EASY before moving from Virginia Beach and am so glad I did!Mary, Audra and Phillip have taken care of the 1991 Park Avenue I drove from Virginia Beach, and also a 2003 Rodeo Sport I purchased shortly after arriving in Tucson.The crew is friendly and the work is done right the first time.I have no reason to ever go elsewhere.

Brian was super friendly and helpful and kept in touch during the process of my car being towed to the shop and what they diagnosed and what had to be fixed. I hate going to chains for oil changes, so was looking online for a reliable, locally owned shop when I came across Breathe Easy. They had a great special and positive reviews, so I took a chance with them. From start to finish the staff was friendly and professional. They made no attempt to up-sell me or suggest unneeded services. The oil change, maintenance check-up and tire rotation was done as scheduled while I waited in their not-fancy but clean and comfortable waiting room. I also like that they have an online program to remind me of maintenance requirements for my car and appointments. I already have made an appointment for my other car and definitely plan to use their services in the future.

My first experience with this shop was a week ago. They had a special on a full synthetic oil change with an unbeatable price so I decided to give them a try. Im glad I did. This is a woman owned shop with awesome mechanics. The service was fast, the mechanics were knowledgable and the process couldnt have been smoother. I know that oil changes are relatively easy but the shop performs all kinds of auto work. And just looking at the antique cars theyve restored shows you the level of care and detail they put into their work. Fair price, excellent work, no up-sell, honest...theyve earned my future business.

Since I moved to Tucson, I had trouble finding a place to take my vehicle that didnt try to rip me off. Breathe easy is as good as its name, not only did they NOT try to sell me on bogus repairs that would cost me an arm and a leg, but what repairs were needed were priced LESS than what my expectations of prices are for those repairs. Plus, my final bill came to the same amount as my quote. (yes I know its always supposed to be that way, but I could write an essay on the experiences ive had in just the last 2 years) seriously, if youve ever, ever felt like a place was even trying to rip you off, go here.

Update: March 2020--Still the great same service. Check-in is seamless and easy.I couldnt imagine a better automotive shop. I took my van in for a regular service and during that process a few minor problems were isolated, diagnosed and repaired without any extra labor cost or silly add-ons.They have since performed more significant work to my van and I am totally satisfied.The service is excellent and also completely earnest. This place is a gem.

So I called breathe easy over the phone and asked to have my vehicle looked at,a gentleman told me to stop by and the next day I did, it has a bad tick or knock, which I knew to be one of three things because of the 5.4 Triton motor engineering malfunctions.mind you this motor was replaced two years ago and only has 44,000 documented miles on a new Ford motor from the factory which was replaced from a dealership up in kingman, Arizona.so i take it to him he pours a little transmission fluid into the engine oil and tells me to drive it for 3 days, so I did after the three days was up it still had pretty good ticking noise to it I took it in left it with him for over the weekend. I didnt hear from him so I decided to stop in myself and he proceeded to tell me that it needs a new motor and gives me three estimates upwards of $7,800. So I asked him how did he diagnosed my vehicle did you do compression checks take out the spark plug and he told me no. But if I wanted to put a new motor in it let him know. So I call a local parts store here that has mechanics that work for them and they referred me to the mechanic that I took the truck to, he has it for three days and tells me he can fix it and it doesnt need a new motor. the problem was the timing belt phasers went bad so after having those replaced for $1,000 my question is if these guys are so great how come they didnt figure that out instead they wanted to take my motor sell it to another person or they were going to take my truck in their fix the timing belt phasers and charge me for a new motor. I find this to be a scam. I would never take anything to this gentleman again downright lied to me thats how I feel, and charge me $30 to tell me this.

Breathe Easy has been so incredible with helping me with my car! I called in asking for a quote and I was met with experience knowledge and kindness from both Mary and Brian. They have helped me diagnose and fix the numerous issues Ive had with my car. They have even helped me when my car had a fit out of town! Their office is very comfortable and the wifi is great if you need to do work but have to have your car in the shop. Five stars all around!!!

Quality work done quickly with very reasonable Rates!

My Boyfriend and I Dave Lough were trying to leave Tucson to head back up North where we are from. We had brought our van Winnie to a different shop because she had started to hiccup/buck and had a rough idle. While the other mechanics did their best, and brought problems to our attention every time we though we had fixed Winnie she would continue to show the same symptoms. It took us about four tries of addressing and fixing ourselves before we brought her to Breathe Easy Auto, and thank goodness we did. Like I said, the other mechanics did tell about thing that we needed to fix, and Im happy we fixed them, but when I asked if it could be the fuel injector because of the symptoms we were to it would be expensive because of the time consumption to check. Breath Easy Auto had our Winnie in and out in less than 24 hours all problems fixed, and Mary the owner even loaned us a car to use while Winnie was in the shop. Thanks Breathe Easy, we were so worried and stressed but now were on the road breathing easy.
