Mitch provided excellent customer service when I purchased a car for my daughter! Brad the sales manager did a great job as well. DeMontrond gave me the lowest price they could go on the car which was a lot lower than their competitors. The other car dealerships in the area played games with going back and forth on the price.

Just bought a car from here and it didnt even take an hour. I went here for to test drive a car I really like and ended up driving it off the lot. Everyone here is so helpful from all levels of the dealership. Its probably the only dealership that Ive been to that does absolutely everything possible to make sure you leave there happy.

I GIVE NO STARS!! The worst Service Dept weve ever had to deal with. Do not go here to get work done. Repair we had done after a hit and run wasnt sealed. Which created a water leak in car that couldnt be seen until mold started appearing on the seat belts. After bringing it to their attention there was little care about the quality of work they did and the car sat and they only sealed the work a day before we picked it up. We inspected the car and it wasnt even cleaned and the water was still standing under the spare tire. So it was returned again. All the while we had to use a rental car (which was another issue later). We were rushed to get the car back after completed work since we had a rental. So the overall work done to date was not great. Car still smelled. Paint work and color was off. Window still whistles so by this time were like just give us our car back.... just poor quality of work all around..... So, If you have a problem with the quality of their work they will ignore you and the problem. The amount of calls we made were never return. Weve left messages after messages. We even made a trip to speak to someone in person and was turned away with just leave a message and someone will get back to you. On top of that, they even ended up charging us for all the rental car charges on the car we had to get from returning our vehicle for damage their body shop had done. Which they argued with us on that point and we never received a refunded for. WTH! Dont deal with the hassle we did and take your vehicle to another Hyundai to get repaired....This has no reflection on the Sales Dept. They are a different entity from the service dept. They were in the middle of some of it and they were the only ones that cared about helping us in any way they could. Even the companys response to my review wasnt the best.....

I brought my 2016 Mustang here for a repair on my door, not only has it been over 5 days but when we went to pick it up it wasnt repaired correctly. The individuals working here claim to be professions but yet cant fix a simple door ding correctly. This place tried telling me that it was done and didnt realize the job was botched. Not only does this make the mechanics or body shop repair people look bad but moreover makes the entire company look very unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and take your car to a different place, do not use the idea of it being a car dealership persuade you. I advise DeMontrond to correctly teach your employees have to make body repairs and do not return a car without it being perfected.

I had a great experience buying a 2018 Equinox Premier. Shawn Johnson went over and beyond to get me exactly what I wanted. He is trust worthy and actually fun to work with. He may be the new guy, but a new face is what Demontrond needs. I also really liked the manager Chris. He worked to get the price just right! From the moment I talked to Juan, manager of pre-owned, on the phone, then meeting him in person, I have never experienced the professionalism & helpfulness that one can offer. Then theres Jessie and Patrick that were my salesmen. They went out of their way, along with Juan, to make me feel comfortable in my decision making. What I really liked about all 3 of them is that they were not pushy at all and their sense of humor made it that much better. We ended up purchasing 2 vehicles from them and I couldnt have asked for a better finance lady than Michelle. She went the extra mile to get us the best rate. I will never go to another dealership to purchase a vehicle and have already bragged about DeMontrond. Keep up the good work guys!

Been loyal Chevy girl all my life but hate the service department here. No personality, WAY overpriced for someone who has bought three cars here. I will look for a new dealership with my next Chevy. Too sad it has to be. I have written letters asked for help but falls on deaf ears. I had to write GM to get needs met.

I was traveling back to Arizona when my engine light came on. I went to a local chevy dealership in Galveston (Classic GMC) where they offered no assistance. The service department lacks professionalism. I went to DeMontrond GMC in Texas City. The service department came out and meet me. I explained what my problem was and he took my truck back and within a few minutes brought it back and said it was fine to drive back to Arizona. They reset the engine light and we left. Compared to Classic GMC they are far more professional and would recommend this service department to anyone.

We were treated poorly at the Ron Carter dealership just down the road so we ended up here. At Ron Carter they were charging us more for the basic model of the elantra 2017 whereas at Demontrond we got the limited elantra 2017 model for a couple thousand dollars cheaper. They treated us well. Also, Jamie was the sweetest! She was not pushy at all in our purchase decisions and was sincere and genuine.

Originally gave this place five stars and even did a survey online recommending them. Sadly it wasn’t until later I realized things had been stolen from my vehicle during the repair. I originally thought it was “my bad”, that I perhaps had misplaced these items, but knowing I had used them that day (a black coach cosmetic bag full of quality makeup) and my rose gold pink beat head phones (has used that morning from my gym session) prior to dropping off my car.I cleaned my home, turned it upside down, i cleaned my garage, i even moved furniture around hoping each time to find something. I don’t like to come writing ranting angry reports out of emotions and it’s veen a few Since this happened due to not wanting to do that and doubting my own mind, wondering if I had made the mistake. I did not. While service was good originally, I am highly disappointed this japppebd and will never be back. Like most people do, don’t leave valuables in there. Thankfully i had removed my weapon from the vehicle and should’ve hsve apparently done the same with my makeup and Gym bags.

Don’t waste your time taking your car here for repairs or anything for that matter. If I could give zero stars I definitely would. They are completely unprofessional and seem to lack communication skills with each other because I took my car in to get an issue looked at and instead they change my oil that had already been changed not even 2 months ago, and that’s not even the worst part they only put 1 quart of oil back in my car. My car takes FIVE QUARTS OF OIL. When ask why this happened nobody knew why. Which brings me back to no communication. Please do not reply to my review as I do not want to hear it. I don’t understand how this business is still afloat due to all of the bad reviews I have read. And they all have to do with the service department.

Took my vehicle in for repair. Took 2 weeks instead of original 1 week. When told it was ready. Large size paint drippings & plastic cover on side rail was not attached properly. In addition to this issue, latch on door no longer working properly. Which when I dropped my vehicle off for repairs it was working properly. Addressed my issues and picked up the vehicle the next day. Still having issue with door latch. Brought it back again. Was told after 2 hours of waiting. To take it to the dealership I bought it from to see if my warranty will fix it. If not bring it back and they will cover the cost & fix it. Outraged! Shouldnt have to run around to fix a problem that occurred during their repair service. Will file complaints with insurance company and BBB. Extremely dissatisfied with their service.

Horrible experience!!! Beware this shop!! Long story short I have an expensive truck and I take pride in it. When it was damaged I took it to them because they are a preferred shop. I took it to them and they did terrible work. I TOOK IT BACK THREE TIMES AND THEY NEVER FIXED IT RIGHT!! I finally took it to Bill Fogle and they fixed it right the first time. DeMondtrond has a terrible body shop. Stay away from these guys!!!

Do Not wast your time or money here. My Geico Adjuster suggested I bring my vehicle here for repairs. I was in a car accident two months ago and I still dont have my vehicle. They tried to give me my car back two weeks ago and I only had it for a weekend and I had to return it. My car drove terrible it was making an embarrising squeeking and popping sound. I asked if they even test drive their vehicles to make sure its driving properly before they return them to the owner and they said No. Now Im being told that the repairs needing to be made to fix the issue wont be covered under my insurance because they believe it wasnt from the accident. My car was driving perfectly fine before my car accident and I expect it to be returned to me the same way. I am a Insurance Agent who sells Auto and Home Insurance and I am very Familiar with the process of Claims and repairs and I will Never recommend this place or even Geico Insurance now due to my experience. This whole ordeal has been very stressful and a waste of time. Now I have to take my vehicle to another repair shop for them to file a supplement repair form on my insurance. Ive left several messages for Anna about when I can pick up my car and still no response back. Im sure my car is just sitting in there parking lot right now and they dont even have the common courtesy to call me to pick it up.

If I could give ZERO STARS I would. I have NEVERRRRR had a good experience with this dealership but I keep coming back because I purchased my car here and to keep my warranty, I have to have work done here. After this last DISASTER I am done. My inspection was done on the 8th and yesterday the 13th my car almost OVERHEATED because there wasnt any water in the reservoir. How is that possible if fluids are topped off as needed?????? I do not care about that warranty. Ill be taking my vehicle somewhere that have mechanics that GIVE A S***.
