Would give no stars but can’t. First was told my cost would be 1200 when they came to my house (I had all boxes at the curb) no heavy furniture just box’s they told me 2000. The email that I signed was just an estimate. Even though it said final price with taxes. Yeah Then the day of delivery they wanted to drop off everything at 11 pm 12am. I told them that is way to late your dealing with 90 yr old people. This turned in to ok 6 pm. When they got there they told my father in law that we sold them everything to settle our bill thank god my sister in law was there she called them out on it. They were trying to take advantage of old people SMH. Then when I arrived I found the only piece of furniture that I sent scratched up. Still haven’t heard back from them.

Honestly one of the worst experiences I have had. I signed a contract with Wheaton/CTC for a potential interstate move which included packing up my belongings and storing for an indefinite amount of time. It like pulling teeth to get details from the coordinator, Michele. I confirmed a few days before my scheduled move date that the truck would arrive between 8 and 10 am, and by 10:30 I contacted my coordinator on getting an update on where the movers were. She pointed me to call the office, which I did, several times at several extensions which no one answered. I left multiple messages intermittently over several hours while also contacting my coordinator that I was getting no response. Finally at noon, 2 hours after the end of the scheduled arrival time, my coordinator called the office on my behalf and someone reached back out. I was told whoever they had scheduled to pick up my belongings decided “they didn’t want to do it anymore” and they dropped the ball on contacting me and that no movers would be arriving that day. Not only do I take issue with the fact that I was never notified, and it took over 2 hours for me to get a response, my understanding is they should have just rescheduled me with another group of movers and I honestly didn’t need to be any the wiser. The woman I spoke with on the phone was extremely condescending and unapologetic to the circumstance, and told me they would honor the pricing and send people out the following day. I rejected the offer, I would not trust the company with my things and had to be out of my apartment since I scheduled my move out date with the date I set for the movers. Also, when they tell you it’s a climate controlled facility for storage it’s actually an open warehouse that does not feel climate controlled. I would not trust this company to handle your move

The entire process was very professional starting with the sales person, Ernie, who explained things to us that the other 2 moving companies failed to put in their sales pitch. The move on both ends went very smoothly. The crews were very nice and very helpful. We would use Coast to Coast Moving & Storage again and recommend them to anyone else.

I contacted Moving Suppliers who contracted with Coast to Coast Moving & Storage. They sent to two highly qualified, courteous, and helpful men. “G” and Devin were very careful with our furniture and unloading needs. I highly recommend these guys. Little pricey, but came through in pinch.

Our move went according to plan. I am extremely impressed with their professionalism. Everyone played their part in perfection. The foreman and the moving team worked really hard and did their best to ensure a timely delivery and error-free move. We received all our stuff in one piece and allotment time and the price was one with the estimates. Really, Im impressed with such professionalism.

Posting for Kind Gentleman who emailed in...Hi Ernie, it was a pleasure working with you also and everyone at Wheaton who I spoke to and met after you. All the way from Sonny & his Movers who picked up, to John and his crew who delivered. Morgan at the office was also very helpful with any questions and kept me abreast my move while in transit to NJ.. You were honest with your estimate, on time with your pickup, delivery dates & times and you answered any question I had. And, best of all, as you had told me, the actual price might end up being lower then the estimate and it was! Thanks again for everything, Ray. You may use this as a review if you so wish.

I am more than thrilled to have done business with Coast to Coast in Tampa. They have been nothing short of perfect for my needs. They have executed multiple pick ups and deliveries for me and the crew is always professional, efficient, and friendly. I dont know how they continue to offer such excellent service, that fits my schedule, for such a reasonable cost. Thank you, Morgan! And everyone who has been a part of my service!

We contracted with Coast to Coast to move our 4 bedroom home, 2600SF with garage for Wheaton to do the moving. The day the packers showed up, we complained about the quality of their work and materials and CTC told us we were lucky to even have the move and that we approved subcontracting to a small, local company. CTC also sold us a $670 moving insurance that was not valid since CTC did not move us. George, the owner, said he wanted to make things right but refused to reimburse the insurance they sold us. Full disclosure...George says he fired the CTC employee who did this to us. Obviously I am leaving a lot out...in the end, CTC took the money for the move, the money for the insurance and left us to deal with the local mover. Wheaton refused to get involved because it was a CTC intrastate move. We are very frustrated and disappointed. We thought we paid for a professional Wheaton move and experienced a bait and switch. I would say beware, but you have no recourse in the day of the move.

From the first phone call to the truck leaving the house was first rate. The people are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Morgan, my contact in the office, was always available to answer questions and even let me know that she would be on vacation for a few days. She told me who to contact in her absence! They worked hard and constantly until the job was done. It was a huge undertaking that took two days and never once was there a complaint or lack of professionalism....even enthusiasm! They were respectful of items being moved, knowing that these items were special to someone. I highly recommend Coast to Coast Moving and Storage.

Moved from Tampa to Rhode Island. Bob Fitch quoted a price---seemed in the ballpark and fair and so scheduled. One of the perks he stated was their communication---would call a couple of days before load date; driver would call in transit, and a couple of days before unload date. All of that was BS. I had to call to find out what date they were coming to load and what time. After my time window for the load had lapsed and I had not heard anything I called and was told oh we needed to get a smaller truck. Bob knew this and was part of my estimate---no clue why the driver would not have know. Load was fine--whatever. So 10 days into my window period for the unload I call as I have heard nothing about where the driver is, or my stuff for that matter. Driver calls and says Oh Im on vacation will deliver you between 8 and 10 on x date. Not ideal but fine. Between 8 and 10 rolls around on date x and still no driver. Call him--cant get the truck--have to shuttle stuff in so will be as long as it takes for them to get me a truck. Oh and hes the only one set to unload. Now mind you, its only a 1 BR apartment but is on the 3rd fl with no elevator. How is this one dude going to get my couch and queen size mattress in. Especially infuriating because I was told by Bob they have at least 2 people per job.Customer service people are polite when I call but give a different story that it is the drivers discretion for the labor----just get in writing how many are going to load and unload you as now I have charges for extra labor that is really not extra. Buyer beware is what I say!

Coast to Coast is an exceptional warehouse and moving company we hope to use again with future projects. George, Mark, and Jimmie went above and beyond what was expected and stayed until the job was complete. As a commercial interior design firm, weve worked with a few different storage and moving companies around the country, however Coast to Coast has been the only company that put down a floor protector so they didnt track in dirt & debri from outside. Very efficient crew and great owner, I absolutely recommend hiring them!

I worked with this company twice. In 2015 and in 2017. The first time was really good. But on the second time here is the breakdown of what happened. You can judge yourself:1- I hired them for moving and storage, the whole cost was around 2700 and before anything was stored I had to pay 2100. I knew it was a lot but the salesman said that all our stuff will be stored in the same container and will remain safe. They said they provide high quality service and I went with that.2- After storage and when I was ready to move, I was surprised on the day of moving that my stuff WAS MOVED TO ANOTHER COMPANY and they subcontracted them. They did not tell me that. I felt betrayed3- The other company had some of our stuff damaged, they broke a coffee table and a dresser in our house, they stained my walls, they did not put protectors, they were hiding boxes that need to go to the 2nd floor in the 1st floor, they were rude to my wife and myself, they lost the TV base, they took TV box that I bought for $20.4- I tried to call management to explain to them the problem and it did not get their attention. That same salesman who said quality service asked me to stop calling him. After being frustrated for so many days with my TV on the floor, my neighbors felt bad for us and called on our behalf to try to get their attention. They finally listened to them.5- I worked with the claims department, and they offered me less than 400 dollars for all the damages that happened and they fixed some of the other items in our bedroom. But OUR TV STAYED ON THE FLOOR FOR THREE WEEKS! AND I BOUGHT A TV MOUNT FROM MY OWN POCKET6- I cannot tell you how much this company hurt me and made my life worse. After all of this its up to you to judge them. If their settlement was fair I would have not have said a word but it took from May to the end of July (yes 2 months) to get about 390 dollars for a huge amount of damage and irresponsibility

I have relocated to and from the U.S. four times (and to other countries a further four times) this is the first move where I have encountered a company that did not follow it’s own agreed home survey requirements, Then proceeded to aggressively bark an apology at their customer [myself], while telling the same customer that they were doing their best to accommodate requests. However these were only what had originally been surveyed for. Morgan’s [office manager] style, appeared to be to treat customers so they felt like an unfortunate inconvenience in the process.Never, have I been on the receiving end of such rude, obnoxious and arrogant behaviour. I was shouted at, talked over, and when I eventually asked to speak with an alternative member of the team, was told in no uncertain terms that she was the office manager and basically she wasn’t going to let me speak with anyone else.I was very disturbed by this stressed out group, and asked my mobility team to stop the move. Unpack my goods and find someone else. I truly would have preferred this. This company did not deserve our business. However, as there were/are time dependent downstream events, that would also have been impacted,I was left feeling very disappointed and upset that we had no alternative but to continue. All the time knowing these people could not care less. They would get paid and that’s all that matters. I’m just another customer. My final error was to foolishly query cleaning up, after any mess, for example new carpet dirtied by lack of any protective floor covering, Morgan opened with the fact that she had ‘broken down vans and other issues’, so it was made crucial clear, whatever you need/want to discuss don’t waste my time as I have far more important things to deal with. I was once again treated with distain & a total lack of common courtesy,.I was informed that they provide a moving service, do their best not to dirtty a home, but any mess made is the customers’ responsibility to fix. Impressive. In summary; they didn’t follow your own survey of needs, made the customer feel bad that they would retrospectively follow these previously agreed items, then if a home is left anyway different from the way it was entered it’s the customers issue to sort out.The move team onsite also shared their lack of appreciation for the way they are treated by the same management and that they did their best to avoid wherever possible. Mr Fitch tried his best to account for his office manager’s lack of competency. It is simply unacceptable to treat people, paying customers’, spending significant sums of money to move, and who are the reason for employment, in such a manner. I will be sharing this experience with my corporate international mobility team and here with readers of this review in order bring to your attention my unfortunate experience. If I could post with zerp I would. Good luck.

I worked with Coast to Coast Moving on short notice after our mother died suddenly and we needed to quickly close her apartment AND arrange for everything to be delivered to three different locations, two of which were over 2000 miles away. We had worked with a Wheaton Red Carpet site for our mothers move to Florida from New York over 6 years ago. She had many lovely, old and precious pieces of furniture that required attention to detail to maintain their value and integrity.Because we were so happy with Wheaton, we contacted them and received information to connect us with Coast to Coast. Everyone we worked with was professional, skilled and kind. We needed George and his crew to pack up numerous non furniture items as well as over 20 pieces of furniture, including at least 6 that needed to be crated due to value and age. All of this needed to take place in my mothers one bedroom apartment and within about 8 hours! His crew managed to pack well and keep things separate and meet the tight time-frame we gave them.I received all of my items in Portland Oregon - and nothing extra (!) - in a very timely fashion. Everything arrived in as good a state as it left Florida. Thanks to George and all of his crew for making this process work. The tight time-frame, emotionally valuable items and the complexity of three locations could have been a big nightmare, especially when it was compounded with grief over the loss of our mother. Instead it was a really good experience.Kuddos to the group at Coast to Coast!

I used Wheaton Moving and Van Lines to move from FL to NM. Their subsidiary, Coast to Coast Moving and Storage out of Tampa, FL was the mover to pick up my belongings. They gave me a 5 - 10 day window for delivery from the date of pick up. As though this is not difficult enough to deal with. Due to several issues, all of which are unclear to me, it took 3.5 weeks for me to receive my belongings.Upon delivery, several items were damaged and there are several crushed and opened boxes. This is far from what I would expect from a professional moving company.I would give them only one star; my rating for Wheaton. But I dealt with Morgan from this office who kept me informed, in-spite of all the issues, and she was able to refund some of the total cost. But I learned a lesson, I will never use Wheaton again and will probably never use a professional mover again.
