My wife and I hadn’t moved in 25 years so there were lots of questions about how to successfully pull off an interstate move. Fortunately, I responded to 2 College Brothers’ mailer and was so pleased throughout the entire process. Jay was responsive in pulling together a quote and answering all my questions. On loading day, Jordan and Devonte and two of their helpers showed up on time and started right to work loading the truck. They worked diligently and carefully loading our belongings and then arrived two days later on time at our new home. They worked hard unloading the truck, placing the furniture and boxes where we asked and finished in record time. I don’t think we could have asked for anything to have gone smoother and were very pleased with 2 College Brothers!

Extremely happy with 2 College Brothers Moving! This is the first time that I have hired a moving company so I shopped around to get prices and 2CB responded immediately with an estimate and answered all of my questions, some of the other companies didnt respond for days. The estimate provided was very fair and I so appreciate them getting back with me so quickly. On moving day, they showed on right on time ready to get to work, they were very friendly and professional. I will definitely use them again and will not need to look anywhere else.

Joe and Omar were great! They helped move me from 3rd floor apartment to a 2nd floor apartment a short distance away. It was a very time consuming move with rain/tool delays but after talking to their boss they were more than happy to shave a couple dollars off the total. The total ended up a little over the estimate but this happens with time consuming moves like mine. They packed everything very securely and didn’t damage a thing. I’m really happy with the service I received, 2 College Brothers has very professional and genuine employees like Joe, Omar, and their manager Jay. I’d love to hire them again given the chance but I think I’m happy where I’m at for now. Wow all I can say is wow. These guys are super efficient. Omar the crew leader was very great at what he does. His helper jacob man that kid can move. Together I was calling them the dynamic duo. Sinclair and Eric were SO good about helping me move out of my shared apartment into a one bedroom, alone. I was in a very toxic situation and worn down emotionally and their positive energy and extreme work ethics really made my entire week. The first words out of Sinclair’s mouth was “we’re going to make this move as stress free as possible for you.” And they totally did. There was not even the tiniest scratch left on any of my items and their sweet energies and demeanors were infectious. Had a move scheduled today between 9-10am. They pushed it to 12pm. At 1205 their truck “broke down” & they called us to let us know it would be 3pm. Fine. At 3pm I had to proactively call and Orlando told me something along the lines of “most other moving companies would have canceled on you, we will be there by 5pm.” Couldn’t get a hold of him until 530pm at which point he pawns me off to someone else who is unresponsive for 30 mins. Finally get him on the phone & he tells me they are 2 hours away. Wasted my entire day & continually lied about their times. Safe to say I will be going with any one of the aforementioned “most other moving companies.” 0 starsUPDATE: I received this response from the owner, which is spewing more false information. We did not change the window, you changed it on us multiple times & we had no choice but to comply. I canceled by the time you sent a truck because it was 7pm and you were supposed to be here by 12pm. Dont bother trying to have your customer service person call me, I would rather walk every item out of my current house into my new one personally than deal with your company again.

Last month I began searching for a moving company to move our family to GA. I first spoke to Faith, she is amazing! I knew after speaking with her they were the right movers for us. Faith provided a quick proposal, sent several emails and kept me updated each step of the way. Today the movers showed up, on time and very professional. They went over everything before they started. They did a great job wrapping everything and made sure everything was protected. This is one of the more expensive companies, but they are full service and they did a good job. It took around 5 hours for two movers to wrap furniture, take a part my bed, move everything, and reassemble (cost around $1,000). Communication was great and both movers were very friendly.Ive used companies with similar prices that did everything more quickly but scratched and damaged my furniture,l and had employees that were clearly stressed and overworked. That was not a problem with this company so I definitely recommend them!

I had to move suddenly in 2 days and 2 College Brothers SAVED me. I called to get a quote and the pricing was straight up - pay by the hour regardless of how much stuff you have and they were able to schedule my movefor me Depending on the amount, you either will get 1-4 guys (in my case, I had 2). Both Kevin and Jordan were absolutely great. They paid attention, carefully wrapped and transported my items and were very diligent - all while doing it in 90 degree weather. Their professionalism was outstanding and though they were very tired and exhausted, they kept pushing through - which is something I appreciated. Not to mention, this was their 2nd move of the day. 2 College Brothers was outstanding and the pricing was on par with other companies - though what sets them apart is they dont quote you on how much/type of stuff you have - like other companies do. There also are no hidden fees or extra charges - which is something I also appreciated. When I have to move again, I will definitely be calling 2 College Brothers!

Great things to say about this company and the guys. Had to move a 4 bedroom house, with some seriously heavy pieces and needed storage for a delayed closing. The company was flexible with me through some delays, but Jay stayed in constant communication with me through the process. I had some concerns about certain pieces, but the moving crew was prepared on move day and both the load and unload went smoothly, especially for new flooring at new home. It was one of the better experiences I have had. I had a few quotes that were lower, but what ended up selling me was when I asked about employees and history. Having insured W2 guys instead of 1099 contractors was big for me from previous experiences.

Pre-packed my house. Furniture was wrapped very well. Josh L, Omar, and Bobby were personable and did a lot in 5 hours. This should make my move go faster and more smoothly. This company is more expensive than others I received a quote from. Cheaper is not always better.

We moved to Tampa from out of state. The movers showed up to our place on time and got right to work. However, when they saw all of our stuff after giving us a quote decided to charge us for another truck, which was an extra $6K. This was a largely unexpected cost. When youre moving, you have an estimate of how much its going to cost and plan for that. The movers threw everything into the truck, did not label or tag the boxes, did not give us a list of the number of boxes that they packed, no labels on boxes where they put bolts and screws from the furniture that they took apart, and they forgot to pack a closet. In the end, they were able to put everything into one truck, so did not charge us for the extra truck but did add to the stress of moving. Then they delivered our things into two storage units in Tampa. It was very disorganized. They just randomly threw things into the storage units. One good thing about the movers is that they were efficient. They packed everything within 9 hours and beat us down to Tampa. I havent been able to move into my new place, but Im afraid to see the condition of my belongings.

This moving company no showed us. Our move was scheduled in advance, deposit paid and the day of the move they just didn’t show up. No call. No communication. I called 30 minutes after their scheduled window, waited nearly an hour for a call back, and was told one guy was going to head over (to move a 2,500 square foot 2 story house) and nobody showed up. I called the supervisor numerous times with no answer. A move is stressful enough without being completely screwed over by the company who committed to handling it and took your money. Don’t let the good reviews fool you because if you’re the person they decide to no show for it doesn’t matter how many people have been satisfied with their service. I wouldn’t risk hiring these people for your move.

Outstanding moving service arrived on time took extra special care with our furniture I’ve never seen so much wrapping on each piece of furniture,TV’s and large pictures. Unpacked at our new location and put everything in it’s intended place no damage to anything. First, the guys that showed up to pack and store our stuff were good guys, but had no idea how to pack. The guys that came to unload our stuff were high. One desk was broken in half on delivery. Our wooden coffee table was dented in two spots. The company never talks to you after you pay. They send you to a third party for insurance -- that company (Move Smart Move Management, LLC) must get paid to ignore you too. Six months since the move no response from 2CB at all. Heading to small claims court with this one. Do NOT Use these movers!

If I could leave a zero star review for this company I would. Worst experience of moving Ive ever had. They charge by the hour and we had to ask them to stop using a full roll of tape on every item! They took 1 1/2 hours to wrap 6 pieces of furniture. One guy folded my bed frame wrong and damaged the bolts and when I confronted him on it, I heard how this is how his folds so thats just how he does it. They took forever loading the truck. I watched them slide my China cabinet into the truck instead of carrying it up the ramp. Ironically, the 2 most important items, top and bottom of china cabinet, which they over-wrapped, where the worst damaged! I first noticed it when they put the base in my bedroom! Scratched down one whole side. Then I started really examining the other pieces. The top of the china cabinet has two significant gouges. I sent the company pictures, which they asked for. It took 4 phone calls to get the right email address to send them to. Then when I tried to file a claim (they use a third party) the company wanted receipts of what I paid originally for the furniture. The cabinet is 25 years old and I didnt have the receipt. Both parts were in pristine condition prior to this move and they wanted receipts for the repairs I wanted. In other words, lets make it as difficult for the customer to hold the company responsible for their negligence as possible! Long story short, it cost $450 to move 1 bedroom set, 1 china cabinet and about 25 boxes (which I already had packed) and some miscellaneous items, half a 16ft truck, 15 minutes away. DONT USE THEM!The response below from the manager is a lie. They only contacted me after I tried multiple times to call them, leaving messages. It took 4 phone calls to get a correct email to send my photos that they requested of the damage to my furniture. The solution of 3 free hours on a FUTURE move is ridiculous! Why would I ever let them touch my furniture again? Instead, why dont you address the current move issues of the damaged furniture. Im on a fixed income and they want me to pay for the repairs out of my own pocket and HOPE they reimburse me! Not mentioned in my previous review, they damaged my jewelry armoire and must have flipped it on its side or upside down because all my jewelry was mangled and necklaces are in knots! Also forgot to mention, they broke my mailbox trying to back into my driveway!!Zero faith, hence zero stars! Run away from this company!

My experience with 2 college brothers started out very bad. Needed to store my furniture for 2 months. When it was finally delivered, half of it was missing. I have to give a hugh shout out to NORMAN & SINCLAIR. Norman went above & beyond locating all of my furniture. He continued to send me pictures until I had it all. Sinclair was very personable & excellent with my delivery. Two awesome employees. At first I thought I could not recommend this company but after the fact, I would use them again.

One of the bigger moving companies in the west Florida to Gainesville area. For some reason they charge $100 per mover on the job. Yes, 3 movers equals $300 per hour. With that rate how could customers afford to tip additional to their bill fees. Not to mention some of the gentlemen who arrive at the job sites are beginners and are what seems like their first move ever. An estimate of the move will most likely exceed the quote unless you have items disassembled & ready to walk out the door. This moving company does wrap every item but with inexperienced workers time is drained. My friend had a move in downtown Tampa to move a small 1 bedroom apartment and her bill was almost $2,000. Prodated by the hour so 15 mins comes out to $75! I told her she should have rented a uhaul, moved the small items, and have a cheaper moving company grab the few bulky items. There are plenty of cheaper options such as college hunks, two men & truck, brothers ez moving etc. VERY PROFESSIONAL ON THE PHONE BUT…. DEFINITELY A SCAM.

I hired 2 College Brothers to move me from PA to Florida. I was very nervous about the long distance move and all my stuff arriving safely and on time. They showed up at my address in PA on time and got right to work. They basically packed up my entire apartment, disassembled all the furniture as necessary, covered it in protective blankets, and made quick work getting everything loaded. They also towed my car behind the moving truck so I could fly myself down. The next day they arrived with my stuff on time (in fact even a bit early!) and unloaded all of my furniture, assembled my furniture, and made quick and efficient work. This was my first move where there was ZERO damage to my furniture or dings on walls or anything. I cannot thank Deisel enough, as well as his team of Alex and Eduardo! I highly recommend 2 College Brothers for either your local our out of state moving needs!

I had a great experience with 2 College Brothers on my recent move. I contacted them multiple times leading up to my move and their estimates and information they provided were spot on. Scheduling was also very easy given the complexity of my situation with closing on the house I was selling, closing on the house I was buying and trying to move from one place to the other all in a matter of 2 days.Chase and Josh G. showed up right on time and worked fiercely to get everything wrapped and loaded up in record speed. I moved into a condo so it was no easy feet with having to street park the truck and unload it through a freight elevator to get it up to my unit. Despite this they worked diligently and had everything done before the time estimate I was given. My furniture and items all arrived in one piece and I couldnt have been more please with the efficiency, speed, and cost that this company provided.

I hired them to move my furniture out of storage into my apartment. I can’t say enough good things about them. They were reasonably priced and very professional. But, the most important thing was how they went out of their way to be careful with my furniture. David even put extra padding on some of the items that I didn’t pad well enough, really protecting things. Nothing was damaged and I would definitely hire them again. In fact, I have recommended them to others.

I was on the fence about hiring movers but I am so glad I did! The people in the office are so friendly and helpful. Luke and Jesus were right on time and were so careful with our furniture. They even did extra things, like setting up our bed for us. The boys were very nice and surprised me by how quickly they got things done, much faster than I wouldve been! The quote the office was very accurate in price and estimated amount of time. I will be recommending this company to everyone I know!

Alex, Jordan, Vince, and josh g were the best crew. 2 college brothers put everything in its exact spot and they were amazing cleaning up after themselves.

I’ll start off by saying don’t go by the reviews past a couple of months. Amazing and very professional help not just by the mover themselves but even from the consultants. Jay gave us a very realistic estimate and our actual move was very close to the estimate. Comparing them to other similar companies, 2 College Brothers are relatively economical given the extent of service.Josh and David the 2 movers that helped us were absolutely brilliant to work with. They were very careful and considerate of our belongings and informed us of everything that was happening. Special mention to their unloading skills, they were able to do this without dismantling any of our furniture.

Justin and David were very professional, hard working and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend 2 College Brothers. They rescued us when another moving company did not show up. Justin and David worked from 8:45 a.m. until 4:00 a.m. the next day after packing our belongings (with the utmost care), driving 281 miles, and then unpacking. They also had to repack our storage unit that another mover had done. They are fantastic!

Carter, Chase and Craig did a fantastic job. This was my 3rd move in 4 years and I was a little stressed because of the previous experiences. They made it easy and less stressful than expected. They arrived in time and after a quick tour they started their job. They were careful moving the boxes and furniture and it ended with no accidents. Everything worked out even if they were not provided with tools and mattresses covers.They were nice, kind and smiling all the time despite the heavy work and the hot weather.I would definitely recommend 2 College Brothers and particularly Carter, Chase and Craig!
