Unfortunately we had a terrible experience with Laminate City. We order two jumbo slabs of high quality quartz. The end product was chipped in multiple areas, terrible edging and inconsistent cuts. They were able to take it back to the shop and correct it, but it threw off the timeline for the rest of the crews and the owner was anything but apologetic. I will never do business with this company because of poor quality and the owner.

My wife and I were in the process of buying a new home that was in much need of a major renovation. During our inspection process I asked if Kerry (Sales Rep) would come out and take measurements to give us a ballpark idea of were we would be cost wise. Without hesitation, he agreed and meet us out there day of the home inspection. Keep in mind, during our home inspection, we could have walked away from the property and Kerrys time would have been wasted. He knew this from the start and yet, it still didnt stop him from coming out. He came out, measured our 3,000sqft house, without any issues. Within a day or two, Kerry had 3D renderings of our would be new kitchen and bathrooms. Now of course there will also be changes with designs, slabs, etc but that is something the average person can understand. If you think the first rendering is the final rendering, youre crazy, things change. For instance, I would call Kerry atleast once a week telling him I wanted to make our island bigger and bigger and bigger. He did a great job of properly advising my wife and I of the Pros and Cons of doing so. He is very knowledgeable and has great communication skills. Laminate City hadnt even began working on my house before I employed Kerrys assistance on another one of my properties. They knocked that property out so fast, I couldnt believe it! Without going too much more into detail, these guys know what theyre doing! It is kind of comical to read some of the bad reviews because I didnt experience anything of these sorts. I flip quite a few properties a year and Laminate City is now my One Stop Shop. Keep up the great work guys!

Bait and switch tactics. Gave me a price after making their measurements and then the day they were going to install the granite they called and said if you want us to complete the job you will have to pay another $500. We didnt measure correctly. They also left these huge metal pieces in easy view underneath the overhang. Said it was normal, but looks like a half finished job. Terrible experience.

Totally dissapointedWe asked for a level 1 choice, Donny showed us a bunch, we chose one and after instalment all of the sudden we were charged for a level 2, we didnt even get the choice to choose between level 2He kept dodging my calls and then sent me a message that we chose a level 2If you made a mistake, pay for it, or at least apologize.Dont recommend these guys to anyone

Donnie is the MAN! But seriously... I recommend you ask to work with him directly. He’s truly fantastic to work with. He’s patient, has great feedback and ideas, and really wants to make the customer happy. I like that everyone there understands flooring and home renos are expensive and stressful (big decisions) and they do their best to make it easier for you. I can speak to the quality of their installers as well - they went above and beyond to move a gigantic slab of granite into my house without cutting it (seams)... even walking it across my roof to get it in when it would have been much easier for them to just cut it. The attention to detail and affordability is unparalleled. Thanks, Donnie!

Their prices are good and the salesman was helpful but I will never do business with them again. I picked out granite put down half, telling them it was going to be a little while before I needed it, told it would be no problem. Went into the store again several weeks later to pick out a sink, updating them on the progress, again no problem. Got a phone call from them several weeks ago asking how things were going, again no problem. Now Im ready to have them template and the communication is terrible. No one seems to know whats going on or do what I ask or do what they say. Come to find out they have sold the slab of granite that I picked out and put money down on! And the salesman Kerri acts like its no big deal. He says we cant hold it that long, but never said anything before. Tells me there is another slab out there and its the same thing, but how funny when he was selling me the granite the two slabs were different. It was much lighter than the one I purchased. This is not how you treat customers, especially if they have put money down. Just putting this out there so others are aware!

Wanted to give a big thanks to Kerry. I had several quotes to redo my kitchen in one of my rentals and his prices were vary competitive. They use all wood cabinets, none of that particle board. They came out to give me the estimate and within a day he had my quote. They have many styles of cabinets and tons of granite to choose from. I told him my budget and he had no problem staying within. I plan on using the company again for my current home and would recommend to anyone.Thanks again

I have been going to Laminate City for about 4 years to purchase building supplies for my homes. Their staff is well trained and well versed in the products they sell. I have often felt very comfortable with the advise their sales staff provides to guide me to the absolute best products for my needs. And it doesnt that they provide the best prices in town!!! 3 problems with laminate city operations:1. Poor concept of keeping to appointments and scheduling dates. Full of excuses and rationalizing why dates got pushed out ie. We weren’t in the office that day. Bottom line whatever dates they give you factor in another 4-6 business days past any critical date provided. You will also have to hound them on keeping to their promises which none may ever be met.2. Poor communication with installers. Discrepancies between estimate measurements and installation measurements. Also overall poor communication with their installers. Ie. Installers tell me and my workers laminate city will finish supporting top on a knee wall....day of installation installer says I have to finish supporting knee wall and left job site without 100% complete. I had no problem finishing the support for the granite on the knee wall of the fabricator/installer didn’t tell me otherwise several days prior.3. Communication to customers with profanity if you call them on their operational breakdownTommy is the owner. Jeff is some sales guy who handles all of the scheduling. Tommy is very absent and has little to do with the operations once your initial conversation with him. Jeff is the guy who runs every other aspect of the project.Honestly, Jeff is probably overworked and underpaid and has a lot of responsibility at this place so I feel bad for him, but lack of delegation is no excuse. I spent over $8000 with these guys to test them out because I bring a lot of business. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in a long time.This was Jeff’s last text message to me after I explained my disappointment in the overall service I received. “The granite piece is going up your as* sideways di*kwad”. Honestly they need to remove this guy Jeff, he’s a loose cannon and need to delegate better and to more qualified individuals. But the culture stems from the top. Good luck if you go with these guys.

Just had our kitchen totally remodeled by Laminate City and we are extremely pleased! Thank you to Kerry & Tommy! Perfect place to get everything we needed! Cabinets, floor tile, Marble Counter tops, back splash, sink as well as cabinet handles...they had it all along with installation! We told Kerry & Tommy what were were thinking of doing and they not only made suggestions but Designed what turned out to be our dream kitchen! Kerry was very professional from start to finish with the selection, making suggestions and coordination of our Kitchen Granite purchase. Went in with my wife spent about $700 baseboard we bought two cases of caulking and the never gave us the 2 boxes of caulking we bought when I call back the guy was really rude and said they couldnt do anything for me I start explaining myself,,, and he told me that I was getting excited, I was getting upset Tone of voice and making fun of us that we forgot it and kept repeating himself that he couldnt do anythingb and he hung up the phone. Not really the money that we want, is the way this guy treat people in the way that they have people running that particular business. By the way you only have one employee running the cash register he would definitely know. All you guys had to do is look back at the cameras and see. Or ask the guy Who took my payment . And for you to mention on your comment that you guys dont have a honor system really tells a lot about this company where you are willing to risk a bad review and a customer for $38. This is not Lowes or Home Depot where you have 40 or 50+ employees and its pretty hard to track down the transaction from six days ago the only reason I do not go back and and get the 2 cases it was because of the holidays and 4 of July but its OK I hope you get all $38 worth of caulking and it really makes a difference in your company I am sorry I had to do business with you guys good luck.

I was put onto laminate city from a close family friend so i decided to give it a try. Kerry Rose came to my house the day after I called and measured my kitchen cabinets and my countertops. Kerrys customer serivce was exceptional and the quotes he gave me for all new cabinets and granite where almost exact to the final cost of the kitchen. He was very informative and with eveything from the tiers/colors of cabinets and granite to the way the kiitchen layout would look based on the different options. The old kitchen was removed and the new kitchen cabinets were put in in a 3 day turnaround! The granite put in a week later! Kerry was by my side every step of the way including texting me to make sure it was to my satisfaction. Again he went above and beyond. My new and improved kitchen looks amazing! Thank you Kerry and Laminate City.

Owner refuses to call me back or remedy the marble situation at my home. They snapped my marble threshold in two places during installation in an attempt to level and have not been back to my house since. The installation occurred in August. The quality of the marble is also extremely subpar as hair left on the counter was permanently embedded into the marble after two days. I also have stains from exclusively water being put onto the vanity slab. I would not endorse or trust this company to perform any work at my home or recommend them to anyone else.

LC was sub-contracted by my GC to lay carpet in 3 bedrooms. Initially, everything was fine, however after about 6 months the carpet in all 3 rooms become buckled in the center of the floor due to a poor installation. Looks TERRIBLE! I have contacted the business dozens of times in an effort to get resolved, but the owner has been unresponsive. They claim to have no record of the installation. SHADY! I didnt even know they advertise a 2 years installation warranty... but as good old Tommy Boy said - You call slap a warranty on a box of sh**, and in the end all you have is a guaranteed piece of sh**! That pretty much sums up my experience with them. Stay away from this company. They have absolutely no care or commitment to customer service!!!
