I stopped by the new location in Tamarac to check it out and to support a local business in my neighborhood on Sunday, February 22, 2021, and was completely disheartened.The sales associate followed me around the store the entire 16 minutes I was in the store.Upon entering he asked me if I had a license. I told him I had a Cosmoprof card. He asked me if I was looking for anything, I told him I was just looking and asked him when the store moved to the new location. He told me they moved last week. Which shocked me a bit, since the last time I was in the old store they told me they were moving January 4th, after having changed the moving date several times before. (Have I established myself as a frequent customer yet? )The sales associate then went back to stocking the shelf for 30 seconds, then stopped what he was doing and started following me around the store.10 minutes in he asked me if I needed any help. I said, No, and proceeded to watch him watch me until I decided to finally leave the store.#HappyBlackHistoryMonth2021...the more things change, the more they stay the same.
