I just had an amazing experience! I needed a return for some slacks my wife purchased these items were never worn. Also, I had no receipt. This beautiful young lady was able to assist me by using my Drivers license. Kudos to her she was exceptional and very knowledgeable. She should be promoted at the very least. Her customer service was well on display. Exchange made 09/26/2021 at roughly 5:45pm EST. She worked lower level returns and exchange counter.

Poor service. Negative attitudes at checkout in Tallahassee. Almost like it was a bother to deal with you. Merc .mess on the tables. You guys need to hire better. Shop online if you can.

I bought a pair of St. Johns Bay Mens jeans and wore them three times, washed once. They completely ripped along the pocket and all the seams are worn down, which makes me think someone else bought this and then returned it. I just cant believe that this is a new product. This lack of quality is absolutely unacceptable. Not even Wal Mart clothes fall apart this fast. Also, had to call corporate for both St. Johns Bay and JCPenny because no one would answer any of the extensions in the local store (I called twice and went through all options). I will never be shopping here again, for fear that the clothes I purchase will fall apart.UPDATE:My partner and I took the pants into the store as JC Penny corporate told us to do. They said it would be no problem for me to return or exchange the pants without a receipt because they had fallen apart through no fault of my own. We attempted to explain this to Sahar, the extremely rude employee at the extremely overworked service desk. We stood in line for over ten minutes with only three people in front of us. It apparently took three employees to attend to each customer, instead of opening three different lines. I asked why no one answered the phone and Sahar said we dont answer the phone here. Sahar told us she could not give a refund more than 50% of the value of the jeans, or a store gift card, and no exchange. I want the full value refunded, not half of $60. I DO NOT want a gift card from a store that sells defective merchandise. I even offered to exchange it for non-busted pants and she said that wasnt possible. This terrible experience has definitely sealed the deal - NEVER BUYING FROM JCPENNY AGAIN. I will be calling St. Johns Bay back to tell them what happened and that JCPenny basically blames them for the problem and refuses to resolve.

I was able to locate the top portion to a 2 piece swim suit in a difficult to locate size.

We went to the Jewelry counter for a transaction and Princess was amazing! She looked up our account, she asked great questions to find out what we needed. She was very helpful and had a great attitude. She smiled and made our experience there a positive one. Its hard to find good help and she is a keeper! She knows how to give amazing customer service!

BEWARE OF TELEPHONE TRANSACTIONS!!Had to call the 800 number to get an order straight. Used the number on the back of my credit card. Very nice, well spoken, professional lady. Had filled up credit card and though all was to be credited back she said would take about 30 days SO she suggested I just pay for my corrected order. Well, I had no problem with that. She asked for my Visa/ATM number, and all info on it. I didnt hesitate ... after all, I was using the SAFEST phone number you can use for them!Two weeks later I found THREE $200 and ONE $250 cash TRANSFERS from my account to SOMEONE ELSES bank account through one of these money transfer transfer apps!!! I freaked!!! I called my bank and thankfully got my money back in my account!! With ALL the info I gave this WELL SPOKEN, POLITE, PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY representative SHE DEFRAUDED ME and stole nearly 1k from me!!!Thankfully I check my account very frequently because I DO use my ATM most always and seldom write checks, to be sure I dont miss anything.NEVER EVER GIVE YOUR VISA ATM NUMBER AND DETAILS TO ANYONE! Had I not caught it so quickly the bank may not have been able to catch her!!!Im DONE with JC Penny!

They sell defective products. I purchased an item. The paper work said to take it back to jcpenny for repairs but they changed their policy and refused to provide any assistance. Mind you, I called a few days before to verify and they told me to bring it in and they would exchange it. Its no wonder they are going bankrupt

For as big as the store is, you would think more people would be working. Took us a minute to find a register with a cashier at it.

Spectacular Sales happening now.50-75% off, in nearly every department. I must say, Considering all the different sales and clearance areas; each department I visited was clean, organized, and browsable.Im not a fan of shopping; yet my experience inside JCPENNEY, turned out to be tolerable and money saving.

The staff was nice but there was a long line. It seemed as though they were understaffed. Every time Im waiting on the cashier is carrying a conversation with another person. It would have been nice to have her undivided attention and be valued as a customer

Jock Pen-nay is a racket. I went one time and the associate was so nice and friendly it was amazing. Then there was the time one was so rude it shocked me. Paid low prices online only to get a defective shoe. Asked for a replacement - she said now Id have to pay full price. Called customer care, lady tried to make me believe there was $22 in tax on a $50 item. I asked why did the price jump from $50 to $72, she said it was tax. Really, sometimes they are fair, honest, nice and patient. But you may have a better chance seeing the sky fall. Anything is possible. Will I go back - of course! Ive shopped there since I was a kid. From mail order catelogs and parents screaming never again. Now its my turn. Only this time its online shopping and refund money can take 7-10 business days to show up in my bank account. Meanwhile it takes seconds for a transaction to be deducted from the same account.

Im always able to find a good sale in JCP.

I love this store. When items go on clearance you can really stock up and refresh your wardrobe, kitchen, bedroom and bathrooms. The original prices arent outrageous and I usually go in for the clearances but very often find something that I have to have and dont want to take the chance of waiting to see if it goes on clearance and not get it.

I when to shop for my son work clothing and they had every thing my son wanted including shoes, cashier was friendly.

Wish it was closer but I also shop online! Like the Arizona name brand in mens clothing. Had to return some items a few weeks ago and the return was easy. I appreciated that!

I love their jewelry department and JCP jewelry quality. Purchase more than 95% of jewelry from there. They have a lifetime warranty that is amazing and very affordable. Staff is great too!

Decent prices (sales are really where its at) and a wide selection. If you can get ahold of staff, theyre super helpful and will help you get whatever you want ordered. Mens department is professional and seems to be high quality. Professionalism is top notch in that department.

Touching blast to the past. The escalators were dangerous for a completely irresponsible misspent youth. I miss the 80s.

The sales and clothes are good, but the store is unkempt as evidenced by the clothes and shelf items all over the place...a real mess...then checkout is now a SLOW cattle call. This is a great example of a store not living up to their potential! Another Amazon tragedy to come due to their lack of attention to detail and customer service.

Took 35 minutes about the prices posted and what has been scanned. Employee had to make 3 trips back and forth then assistant manager was saying one thing and what the price showing on the shelf. One black color sandel was marked and scanned fine but the other sizes in the same style was scanned higher price, thats strange. I was told by your store manager Erika on duty black color is not on sale. Not a single employee was wearing name tags on their shirt, employee told me that she is the manager?

Curbside is super slow, ended up going into the store for my online pickup!

This is the most disgusting store I have ever been in. The restrooms are broken, literally. The stock is not organized at all. The actual physical store is gross. It appears not a single person in the store cares whatsoever about the store. Ive been in several stores in GA and FL and they all are beautiful. What happened to Tallahassee? Come on!

Store was extremely cluttered with no real rhyme or reason for where things were. It was also insanely hot like the air conditioning wasnt working. Ended up leaving after 10 minutes because the heat was starting to make me sick

Jc penny use to be the best but now since they have changed they tend to look like they are going out of of business every day. The clothes are hanging off the racks or on the floor, I saw a beautiful blouse I wanted to buy, but when I picked it up off the floor, it had this large Nike Shoe print on the sleeve. I didnt know Nike and Worthington had Merged together. But Jc Penny has really went down . Its a great store and I hope they come back to their standards

I ordered a shirt and paid for it online to be picked up at the store. I went to the store on the date I got my email, and then waited in line at the counter to pick it up. Everyone was very nice, and I got my shirt. The environment in the store is crowded and messy. The aisles are filled with bins of things for sale. The racks of clothes are crowded together so closely you cannot walk through it without brushing against clothes. It just seems cramped and feels desperate. Also, I wish there were a dedicated place to pick up online orders. Having to wait in line for the very few registers along with people who had not yet paid was time-consuming. I love the shirt though.

I L O V E. MY NEW HAIR. SUHA was awsome she worked On my hair for 8 hours. I had a lot of colors in my hair including green and she fixed me right, and Im really happy with it I usually go to that fancy place downtown and they were busy so I decided to try her out, I heard about her from my friend shes awesome. Ill definitely will be back thank you.
