Unique items you can’t find anywhere else! Mainly clothes and trinkets :)

I love a good vintage store, so I enjoyed my time on The Other Side! 🙃 They have a wide selection of vintage clothes, and with so many vendors, it’s hard not to find at least one (if not a dozen or two) things to take home. Vintage postcards and photographs are always something I can spend a lot of time flipping through, and I found some gems.

My friend and I accidentally spent 3 hours here! A maze of wonders. Prices range from affordable to expensive. Many interesting and unique pieces. Staff are very friendly and it feels welcoming.

Very neat gem in Tallahassee!! Everywhere that I travel, I like to check out vintage stores, and this one has a lot of great deals! Most of the items are clothing based, so if you are looking for furniture and larger items, you may not find them here. The Other Side Vintage had so many cool clothes to choose from, as well as from many different decades. Of course, if you are seeking older items, they will come with a slightly higher price tag, but I was also able to buy a dress for $5! Lovely store that I will visit again when we come back to Tallahassee.

You’ll be overwhelmed by all the cool vintage and amazing products. It’s fun to just wander through and see tons of great decor and great decorative additions. Did a bunch of holiday shopping there!

Always a pleasure visiting. Very rare and unique clothing, items and furniture. Friendly staff eager to assist. Opening hours of operation a bit later than what Im accustomed to.

From the moment you drive up, you know this place is uniquely wonderful! Great variety of merchandise. And, I’m thrilled that they carry everything I need for my painting projects.

Ill have to post the pics later just know they have a bit of everything vintage for all to enjoy. I came across some cool Voltron and Street fighter shirts however, the place has so many things available you could be there for a few hours. Just be mindful that there is no A/C in the building and if you go in a hot day you will have to take a break inside the store it can get that hot 🥵🔥. The service was great and the items there very cool. Come check this place out highly recommended.

Great store with great products but extremely rude customer service if you forget a mask. Not the right way to treat customers who adore the business.

Theres so much in here! I found a vintage guayabera and the suavest hat.

I don’t know whether it was the owner, manager, or whoever but they were rude in an uncalled for way. I was visiting the store with my boyfriend in the middle of summer so it is blistering hot in there considering there are no doors. And we came in wearing masks like a normal person right. We took them off for a second to wipe the sweat off of our face and under our chin because we were hot. This man with a beard comes up to us in a rude manor declaring we need our masks on in the store. No problem, we both wear our mask regardless but, there was no reason to be rude to your customers giving you service.

Being forced to wear a mask even while being vaccinated is a bit absurd at this point considering how easy it is to get a vaccine; its incredibly hot and humid in Tally, wearing a mask and being uncomfortable/sweaty while already being fully vaccinated just isnt worth it when theres tons of other antique stores that dont require masks and allow their customers a choice. Its a shame I had to take my business elsewhere.

CRAZY FUN place to shop, endless amounts of things to look at! Make this a must stop shop when you are in Tallahassee. LOVE the vintage clothing but another great feature is that they carry Dixie Belle Paint products!

Has some okay things in the store, but very expensive to be a thrift store, an extremely gentrified version of thrifting i can tell u that. i was also one of the only black people in the store and i kept getting uncomfortable stares but the staff was really nice

I walked in expecting a great experience. I’ve been thrifting for years and had heard good things from The Other Side Vintage on Railroad Square. I ask all true thrift shoppers to be cautious of this store. It’s more of a warehouse of gentrified junk where they find outdated and old products and give it a nice price tag, usually geared towards college students or tourists who don’t know any better. Had a friend who has been thrifting for years and is a vintage toy collector check the place out and he was not impressed either. When I came in, I looked at some records, and each one is $5. I’ve seen $1 records at a thrift store in Wynwood Miami. There’s no reason for it to be priced that high when I can find the same thing or even better in one of the most expensive cities in FL. Most of the clothes are also things you can find at the Goodwill for half the price. They were even selling a BROKEN record player for $25. Pretty high prices for not a lot of value. They say they are a family owned business and their product prices are determined by their vendors, but any local business would know not to extort their prices that high in a side of town where there are literal houseless people a few blocks away. I want to say the customer service was also lacking. unfortunately, I was not approached to be helped and actually met with quite a bit of an attitude when I didn’t want to purchase anything. Will not be coming back or recommending this place anytime soon. Please check out the other community thrift stores around town that actually help the community and won’t sell you broken products at a “new product price”.

Cool things. Endless. I would suggest you give yourself plenty of time to look. My onlyComplaint is They close quite early.

Its definitely a super cool store, Ive walked through maybe 5 times without buying anything. This time I walked out w a super cool table and smile from Brooklyn, who was soooo nice !

I stopped here randomly to look around and was pleasantly surprised. This store is SO cool and is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. My friend and I spent hours inside looking at all the cool stuff they have for sale and it is safe to say that I am OBSESSED with this store!!

SUPER cool thrift store. They’ve got all sorts of really neat stuff in all nooks of the store, but some of it is just soooo expensive. However, it’s a cool place to look around and sometimes you might even find something in your price range.

An expansive thrift store with eclectic items strewn about the somewhat organized store. This is typical for this type of establishment, the problem is that much of their merchendise is significantly overpriced. In multiple places they have stickers you could get a bag of 100 of for $20-30 elsewhere for $1 per sticker. Metal figurines in the back for $3 a piece when brand new theyre $7 for 5 in packaging. And old $1 comics selling for new comic prices. Thats not to say everything was overpriced, there were some okay deals on certain items like chess sets, but overall most items were priced higher than you could get them new. The staff seemed very friendly during my visit.

I LOVE shopping here. Amazing organization of many different vendors offering so many things. Whenever I need anything for my studio or a funky, fun gift, I head here and almost without fail they have it! Friendly and helpful too. If you havent been, youre missing out!

The Other Side Vintage is a great shop. Staff are super-friendly and helpful. The store is well organized and clean. My 9 year old grandson loves to go there when he visits....so much cool stuff to rummage through and he always finds some kind of treasure.

I shop here when I have extra cash. They post items on Facebook and usually if I want something, they let me cash app them for the item and hold it for me to pick up. Since I work 10 hour days, it’s nice that I don’t have to feel rushed to go fight someone else for what I want. They are so sweet to my daughter every time we come in. They rotate some of their items depending on the season and holidays. I’ve found an amazing sailor style dress for $13. The brand itself was super expensive. They also sell local art sometimes. They always make you feel welcomed. They have these jars and glasses of stickers randomly placed through the store and my kid, Husband and I love to dig through them for our cases, skateboards and laptops.

Kitsch paradise. I never walk out emptyhanded. However, theres a lot of flotsam and jetsam to sift through, and prices are a bit on the steep side.

The Other Side Vintage is a gem of a store! You could spend hours looking through all the goodies and still not see everything there is to see! They surely will have something that you love because so many wonderful people contribute and sell their goods there. Whether you’re a Tallahassee native, a college student, or here just to visit- do not miss visiting The Other Side Vintage!

The most gentrified thrift store i’ve ever been to. Overpriced junkyard

Good stuff, some drama with false shoplifting accusations, but manager is kind and cares about costumers.

The other side vintage is a true gem. there’s so many amazing things that you couldn’t dream up even on your most creative days. they have a huge selection of records, vintage playboy, antiques, furniture, clothing, functional household items, they even had a marching snare! snagged a playboy from the month & year I was born (still in great condition), a Barbra Streisand record (also in great condition), a beautiful column to put my record player on, a stunning silver and gold tray to put on my coffee table & some really cool stickers. whatever you’re looking for, they definitely have it and more. they were all very kind and helpful. I will definitely be back

Great place with a good selection of items. Be warned that its in a warehouse with no AC, so it does get warm during hotter months. Still, an awesome place to visit.

If The Other Side VIntage was any better it would be Vintage Heaven,,, and I dont like bumping into angel and sanctified trumpet music so I am very happy with The Other Side Vintage being just a Vintage Oasis. The Best In Tally.

Vintage, retro, cool and useful stuff. Curated by cool people with good taste. Lots of great stuff, but not so packed that you cant find the treasures. I love this place and try to stop in whenever Im in town. The owner is a lovely women who has been a part of the Tallahassee community for decades. Please support your local business.

I came here a couple months before I had to move into my college dormitory in hopes of finding some cute decorations... and I did! I spent about 30-40 minutes looking around at all the fun stuff they had in there. When I was finally ready to purchase my items, I noticed that the staff was very friendly. Really cute place with a lot of awesome stuff! If youre in the area, I definitely recommend stopping in to take a look!

Hands down one of the best thrift stores Ive ever been to. Always a cool collection of things and a solid used record selection if you spend the time. My go-to place for decor and random browsing and strolling around. The staff here is also wonderful! I also appreciate how active they are on social media so I can keep up with neat new additions with my busy schedule.

The Other Side has such a wide assortment of items. So many fond memories have been made because of things I bought there.You can spend hours looking through the store and finding hidden treasures. This store is easily one of my favorite parts about living in Tallahassee!! I will always love the other side and will come visit no matter where I live 😁

We were Geocaching and they were completely helpful.

They had a lot of interesting things. At first I thought it was a garage sale, but they merchandise their stuff well and I felt like I was on an Easter egg hunt. Lot of older items and some nice furniture, including old books and comics. Definitely worth the time. Hopefully theyll be able to collect mens clothing.

Coolest place EVER!

One of mine and my daughters favorite spots in Tallahassee to dig for treasures.

Almost always has some kind of sale or deal bin going on. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about any items. You could spend 2 hours in here and still feel like you havent seen everything. Lots of little curated nooks and crannies to explore. Highly highly recommend this place for anyone who has any interest in thrifting or bargain-hunting!!!

This place is great!! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. You will see items for sale here unlike any other store. There is always a lot of fun activity on First Fridays. Prices are great too.

Im obsessed with this place.Small note: They do typically ask customers to leave their backpacks at the front (which is fair, cuz like shoplifting and whatnot). Id recommend not bringing a big bag with you, or just leaving it in the car.

Ill start by admit its a cool place to shop. That being said, I didnt like trying to sell. I love in Lakeland, 4 to 5 hours away. I was only here because my father was in rehab after his stroke. I emailed them about the huge amount of vintage clothes my mom left behind when she died at 79. I asked what exactly they were looking for. The lady that emailed back said they were interested in dresses, so I took about a dozen photos and sent it to her. She only replied that they would be interested in a some of them, no details bit okay, not a problem. I brought everything up on my drive. Today I go in with my box and a couple things on hangers. The box is stuffed. I put the box down and the guy opens it. He takes maybe 4 rolled or folded things out of the box before saying they werent interested in any of it because it was all winter wear. It wasnt. I told him that the person I emailed was interested in a few of the dresses and that this is what they requested when I asked what theyd want to see. He said, Yes, we want dresses but not all dresses and it depends on style and season. And we only want vintage. Seriously? I know you dont take everything that walks through the door, thats why I asked and took time to take all the photos. Besides, he didnt even look at really anything. Didnt unfold/unroll anything, at all. And the comment about only vintage? She was 79, she lived through the decades and bought the clothes IN the decades. Half of them still had tge tags on them with a date from the 70s, 80s, 60s, etc.Overall, his attitude was kinda rude and a bit condescending. This whole experience was just a waste of my time.

Great find (for me at least) in Tallahassee. Love the treasures that you can find. You might need to look a little hard, but I guarantee you will find something that you cant live without. I know I did.

I loved everything about this place. Great location, fantastic collection of vintage hoodies, and awesome staff. Walking into the place, its like stepping back into different decades. I was in there for hours and I had such a great time.

Pretty cool place. Some stuff is overpriced but some of it is a good deal. Just gotta know what its worth. Plus they dont do negotiations so that sucks but other than that its a cool store

They have a very friendly staff here, and a huge selection of almost anything you could think of, all in good condition with great prices. There is, in particular, a large collection of old records to peruse. I make it a point to stop here every time Im in Tallahassee.

This place easily rivals vintage stores in bigger cities and even beats them. It has a great selection and great prices.
