Great place to shop for souvenirs and t-shirts

My fiance and I took a trip to steamboat springs yesterday and was excited to check out the gift shops and pick out some post cards because we collect them everywhere we go. Our first stop was this quaint gift shop and we were looking at all of the cool things this store had to offer and finally found some post cards which my fiance and I picked out five of them. We continued to look around and see if we wanted to buy any cool T shirts or socks or any sort of memories that we can keep with us forever, but then a woman who we believe is named Leslie (according to our receipt) came up to us and asked us if we wanted to put the post cards up by the counter to free a hand which was fine, but we just were looking around and soon we were going to check out anyways so we politely declined her offer. Then in the rudest tone she said I would actually prefer it that way, yeah. Okay. And made my fiance give her the post cards by snatching them out of his hands. Im not sure why she assumed that her customers were stealing from her or why we would of all people. Im not sure if she does this with everyone or if she targeted us specifically for being a young biracial couple or if there was another reason. Im not sure if shes the owner or not, but it gave us a bad taste in our mouth after going to this shop, luckily all of the other shops we went to had much nicer employees and owners so we know now to never go to this shop ever again or recommend it to anyone either.
