I havent had the opportunity to buy from Staunton Tractor, Inc. YET, this is what makes my review all the more credible. Why? Glad you asked. I live 2 hours away and had been at the Ford dealer in Staunton getting my Expedition hooked up with a trailer break. Dealer suggested I go and attach a trailer to test the final results. What? How in the world can I do that when I am two hours away from my home, the trailer I needed to be able to pull and anyone who would love me enough to hook their trailer to my vehicle for 10 minutes?! Really? Well, I Googled companies in Staunton that have trailers and Staunton Tractor, Inc. popped right up. I believe in asking, even if it is the ridiculous, as I have a 50/50 chance of a yes. I drove over, walked in, explained my situation and they didnt even raise an eyebrow. A couple of the gentleman in there marched right out, grabbed a ball, hooked it up to my Expedition and proceeded to hook up one of their heavy duty, low-dump trailers. I drove it around the lot to confirm/deny that my (newly installed) trailer break worked. Staunton Trailer gained nothing from helping me accomplish my goal, except this honest review. For me, that speaks of integrity over profit. They earned my future business. If I am in the need of a used car or heavy equipment, I will drive the 2 hours back to Staunton Tractor, Inc..

The car I got from there didnt last at all and while they was so called fixing it the car they loaned broke down as soon as I left the parking lot then when I got the car back that they was fixing it didnt make it out the lot. Definitely got racist vibes too, they thought I was stupid and tried to take advantage of me because Im a woman

Frankly, this is what buying a used car should be like. There is zero pressure at Staunton Tractor. They had a car I was interested in; they let me test drive it and take it to my preferred mechanic for his full evaluation; then they worked out a fair deal with me. I have only good things to say about Gary and his colleagues. This isnt the place to go to be upsold by a guy in a suit - but who wants that? I am truly delighted with my Buick Lacrosse.

I bought a Lull lift used. Had a small issue and they fixed it quickly and efficiently. I worked with Winston hes a great guy.

Called to offer to sell them my teactor this last Saturday morning, got no answer. Checked online and they are CLOSED on SATURDAYS. A tractor store closed on Saturdays - must be run by the government.

Yes, they ARE closed on Saturdays. Strangest thing I have ever seen. Everyone works Monday thru Friday. I stopped there on a Saturday and a guy came to the door and said they are closed on Saturdays. I dont get it. Must be run by a bunch of 20 somethings.

I purchased a 2010 VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI with just under 78,000 miles. I traveled 3.5 hours to get this car. Right after getting it home, the engine light came on. Turns out it needs a $4000 repair. Staunton Tractor claims to know nothing about it, but it seems much too coincidental to me. They said there was nothing they could do. To be fair, it was clear that it was an as-is purchase, but the timing is very suspicious, and even if they had no knowledge of the problem, I feel that any legitimate dealership should try to help in this (hopefully) unusual situation. The repair cost is nearly half the cars value and their attitude was wow that sucks, but its your car now. Use caution when shopping at Staunton Tractor.UPDATE: When I tried to get this car inspected in PA it needed front brake pads and rotors and a rear wheel bearing (mechanic said the bearing was so bad he could wobble the wheel back and forth). Another $850 bill. Apparently these cars are not checked out by Staunton Tractor before they are sold.

I bought a trailer back in the spring had to wait 45 min to a hour to actually purchase the trailer. Then I waited at the DMV for a half hour to get tags on it. Come to find out they didnt fill out the paperwork right.So back to staunton tractor and another 30 mins of my time. Then I noticed some tire where on the trailer so I called them up and they told me to bring it down for them to look at it. They said my axle was bent and they were going to call the manufactor to get me a new one. I gave them my number and they said to check back with them in the next couple of days. I called back they said they had not heard anything back yet and they would call me when they did. Two weeks go buy and no call so I called them and they said that the manufactor wasnt going to cover it and the axle would be 122 dollars plus freight. Then they gave me the number to the manufactor to call. Great customer service.
