Just swapped out my phone this week and it was easily the best experience I have ever had with Verizon. There was no wait, team was able to get inventory from sister store if it wasn’t in house already (same day) and copied over my phone.Staff were friendly and very pleasant to work with. She made sure I understood my choices, and their costs, to pick the best option for me. It was very transparent, and she had a very good understanding of all kinds of plan nuances etc. Genuinely there to help me get the best deal.Basically in less than 2 hours (I did not wait in store), I had a new iPhone in my hands WITH my data copied onto the new one. In the past it has been significantly longer and more arduous.I will definitely always use this location in the future. Friendly, helpful, efficient and very competent employees. There was zero salesy “am I really getting a good deal?” Vibes. Thank you ladies for everything!

I needed an upgrade so I came to Verizon on Canal Street. The attention was unreal, Hope will cater to your needs. Not only that but she is very kind person who genuinely cares about the customer. She took her time trying to find the best deal for me. She order a phone for me yesterday and it arrive the next day (today) and then she said “btw last night I was looking around to see if I could get you a better deal and I found one.”I was more than content with the first deal because it was a good one but the second one was even better. Hope, thank you for the help and for showing me how to use the new phone. I went from the 7 to the 12 pro and as you know the 12 doesn’t have a button. This is something you didn’t have to do but it was very much appreciated. I am beyond pleased and grateful. I am definitely returning to Verizon on Canal Street in the future.This store is so clean and well organized. But more importantly it’s not congested with a lot of people. It’s a hidden gem.

Highly recommended! Came in today as my dad had an issue with his phone I couldnt figure out. Luis tried what he could for a solid half hour, but all of us agreed itd be best for dad to get a new phone (3 years old by this point and dads not careful). The patience he showed throughout the entire process is unmatched in modern times lol. My parents are not technical at all and he took the time to explain what he was doing at every step, why he was doing it and how long it would take. While looking at our account he let us know all the upgrades/specials that were available. We left to let him set up the new phone and it was all set when we came back (he called us within an hour to say it was ready). All data restored to the new phone and ready to be used - and one less grumpy dad. And complete side note, they were playing some great music, we were jammin the whole time. Definitely come here if youre looking for a great experience, especially if youre not as comfortable with tech. Ill be back any time I (more likely my parents) need something from Verizon!

I first met Jermaine via email, when he pro-actively reached out, offering a better plan that would save me money and get me an updated phone. After a few very polite and professional email exchanges I met him in person at the store. Jermaine was as professional and knowledgeable as could be. All the while, personable and funny making the experience very pleasant. He efficiently upgraded my phone and transferred all pertinent data/Information over to my new Galaxy S8+, (which is an amazing phone). To add to this experience, he even followed up with a call the following day to make sure everything was working well and that I was satisfied with the phone. I highly recommend Jermaine and the Verizon location on Canal St. In Stamford.

Best experience Ive received at a Verizon location. Everything was done quickly. Jermaine was even able to save me money on my bill because I was on a very old plan. Went into verizon in search for a great screen protector and was greeted with a staff member that was pleasant & stuck to what I needed which is hard to come by. Most phone places greet you with a smile while trying to get you to upgrade or sell you a new device thankfully he understood that my phone was really new and I’ve cracked my screen before and simply wanted to avoid that happening again. I believe his name was Jim or James Not only was I able to get a great screen protector but also a great case to help protect my phone. Two thumbs up to Verizon!

I want to thank Hope McDonaugh at the 711 Canal St Stamford, CT store, for all her help, my Mom was moving to Stamford from NY and has had her home phone (land line) number for over 40 years and did not want to lose it, and I did not want another hole in my house for a phone line, so I asked Hope and she was great and got my Mom set up, she kept her number and set up was very easy, then a new cell phone, Hope took the time to go over everything with my Mom and I and explained everything in a very professional way, my Mom is up and running, I also had Hope work on my phone and bill and she found things I no longer needed to pay for and reduced my bill by $20 a month, then when I needed a new iPhone once again I went to see Hope and she got me set up and transferred over without any issues, thank you Hope for all your help, James Ball

They helped me upgrade my family plan, got me a new device, made sure I didnt lose a single piece of data/info in the transition, and went above and beyond and helped me install Hum in my car. I went to this store to possibly upgrade my phone. I spoke to someone who said if I upgraded my phone to a Note 8 that day, my bill would be lowered by a dollar. The dollar didnt matter to me, I just wanted a new phone with the same payment. Fast forward to today, and my bill went up $30. Be careful with who you deal with in this store. I thought they could be trusted due to the online reviews, but I guess I got tricked. I wont be going back to this store ever again.

A few minutes ago i happened by the Verizon Store looking for help and met the Manager, Hope McDonough. I had two problems, i had lost my phone and several of the changes i had initiated in another store on our family Verizon plan, werent working out. Within minutes Hope helped me find my phone, I called the location in NYC and they have my phone - what a relief. Then i presented the problems my family was having with changes in our billing that have not worked and dragged on for 3-4 months. Within another 15 minutes she had examined our online data record and gave me the insight into what was happening, the background i needed and that i needed to call Verizon Customer Service.Thus in less then 30 minutes Hope solved two vital problems and this is the person you need to do business with because she knows what she is doing. This is like having the car mechanic you know you can trust.

Ive needed a new Samsung phone for a while, but kept putting it off mainly because its so hard to find good support and customer service. Ive had a Galaxy Note that was on life support and had gone to severall Verizon stores to buy a new phone, but left frustrated with the poor customer service. I feel sooo fortunate then, in finding Hope at this Verizon location.From advising me on my phone options, and promotions, to transferring data, to explaining features, to checking that everything had transferred and walking me through new features, Hope took the time to be sure I was comfortable with my new phone before I left the store. She was professional, competent, and patient. I really cant thank her enough. I highly recommend this Verizon store, Hope and the rest of the staff.

Diego B helped me with an Otter Alpha Glass for my Samsung Galaxy 7. The phone is prone to shattering on the edges, and its hard to find something that fits. He took care of the installation at no extra charge. Good experience, would recommend shopping here.

SCAMMERS STAY AWAY. Employees are pleasant but the chains business practice is just fraudulent.They tried to manipulate my bill multiple times in hopes they wouldnt have to credit me anything for my trade in. Lied to my face several times as they arbitrarily changed the price of things on my bill to work for them. Also heard them lie to another customer as I was waiting- told the lady that they only had one type of wireless charger ( the most expensive one) while multiple cheaper ones were on a hook right next to me....Who ever is the ring leader of this racket should be ashamed.All of their 5 star reviews are also obviously FAKE. The reviewers names are nonsense and all have only reviewed one place ever .... this Verizon. Hmmm
