I was very happy with the help I received when trying to purchase easy caulking for my apartment shower tile. If I could tell you the name of the man who helped me I would!!! This man wasnt in the same department, but how motivated he was to assist me was truly humbling (we went down several isles and asked others in the department). Because of that man my time was honored and I ended with what I needed.

The Home Depot is a good store. I prefer them over the blue brand.My experience has been that they offer a wider selection of electrical parts and supplies plus their lighting selection ( both indoor and out) is LARGE and cant be beat.Convenience is the name of the game and you can buy materials to do it yourself or you can have in-store staff help select products then schedule installation.The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

At a lot of these big box home improvement stores youre followed around by associates trying to sell you on products you dont need. I can honestly say Ive never had that problem at this location. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable, and dont waste your time trying to sell you a Dremel when you just need a $5 drill bit.The customers at this location can be pretty terrible, with no respect for distancing, safety, etc. Its enough of a problem that I removed a star, but overall the store is great.

Very large home depot store with massive potential for local businesses. Must have seen about 100 different employees all over the place doing there best to be helpful, although no one ever greeted me, asked me for help, or provided any customer service. I would have thought 1 of them accidentally would have seen me and provided some Form of customer service but not this time. Therefor 4 stars, with room for improvement.

This am I had the extreme pleasure of speaking with and ordering from customer service representative Linda R. If I could give her more stars I would. My battery lawn mower purchased from your competitor a few months ago, quit working due to the battery issues. I’m returning it for full refund. I looked on line and found a reasonable gas push mower with bag, saying there was limited stock available. I called early this am hence the wonderful Linda R. The mower was no longer available in Spokane, she found the same model at another location that will be delivered to this location mid August. I’ll wait, using my neighbors mower till then. She is having it assembled for me as asked, and spoke with an individual placing me on a brief hold as to purchasing an extended warranty. Linda R went above and beyond, I spoke with her supervisor John, voicing my praise of the most outstanding customer service representative Ive ever had in my 60 years. I asked that my comments be placed in her personnel file. John was patient and also praised said employee. I’ve had great experiences at this location the majority of the time. Due to the world wide pandemic that continues to plague our country, understaffing is a huge issue as people don’t want to work or don’t show up. Being an essential worker during Covid is something I would not have done, I’m retired and it wasn’t an issue. Home Depot did not acknowledge the State wide mask mandated policy set by our Governor and made shopping unsafe for customers and staff, I would have taken a star off of my review for that, but because of Linda R I give them 5 stars. Thank you Linda and John.10/7/2021 My husband and I have not liked being in Home Depot this past month.Very few sales staff are knowledgeable anymore. It’s hard to find experienced salespersons.Customer service counter people are not equipped with store refunds etc.Thank you Ally for not being one of those and today you knew more than your elderly counterpart in our return of the lawn mower.That said our past month is a 2⭐️ If that.And Hone Depit continues to put humans at risk with the world wide pandemic, now Delta. No wonder employee’s have left.

Went to check out with 10 exact same boards but because one one slightly different in hue the cashier decided to argue with me that it was a different type and she couldnt scan the tag - I assured her they were all the same, but it was apparent she didnt believe me. Ive been a builder for 35 years and I think I know my woods. If she had actually just taken the tag OFF the board, she could READ the numbers were the same. Finally, she did charge me correctly for the wood, but also decided to charge me for ten 16 oz bottles of coke, when i only bought one - I dont think so! Guess I will start doing more of my ordering from Lowes instead.

I went in to pick up my online order that I had shipped to the store and only about half of one of the items was there. Mistakes happen it would be an inconvenience but they said they would have to reorder the item, that would have been ok until I was told I would be charged to reorder. I was insulted to be told that I would be charged to fix Home Depots mistake. I refused the item and got my money back. Exceptionally bad customer service!

I had a broken pipe in my trailer and I went straight to the plumbing section and a nice gentleman named Scotty was there and pointed me in the right direction and even walked me over and help me find the parts exactly that I needed they were so helpful I would recommend anybody coming to this store to get anything you need for your house absolutely great customer service and they have good prices too

Flooring project gone bad. Went to place order...took a little wait for the salesperson.....ordered, paid, got install date, printed paperwork, done...got install about 3 weeks early fine and dandy (I thought). Delivery was 7 PM...yeah time was 8.30 am but whatever ...Now I do admit installer was great....my complaint is the salesman NEVER TOLD ME the price will be (almost 2X)higher than cost of flooring due to leveling the floor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They tell you..nothing. I asked the installer if all this is included in the price I paid??? Oh no he said its for the leveling!!!WHAT ?I SAID THAT WAS NOT TOLD TO ME! Here we are house all tore apart . I called home depot..they said that its in the paperwork that it would be more?#*** Well it was more 2X cost of flooring I am talking 1,000 s of dollars...I had to pay before installer finished the work....STUCK! I could have cancelled but then we would be living in this mess for who knows how long???? We are 70+ we have installed 2 bedroom floors and 3 bathrooms in the past 2 years. We did not want to do the bigger area so we went thro HD.... WOW...never again....GETTING YOUR FLOORING AT HOME DEPOT? ASK THEM QUESTIONS.....HAVE THEM EXPLAIN IT ALL .

We had placed an online order and picked it up at the north side store. When we opened the vanity, we saw it was damaged. I called the Liberty Lake store, for this is the store we usually use, I was told I could bring the vanity into the store and get my money back. The person I spoke was not only curt and rude, she also gave me no other options than to get my money returned. I then called the north store where the vanity had been delivered to, and asked to speak to the manager. I was asked a few questions and then I was connected to Drew. I explained the situation to him, and asked him what options there were. He explained to me with great detail, any and all options. There was no pressure to make a choice at the time, he advised me to think over the options he offered them give him a return call to let him know what would be an efficient result. He was even open to any ideas that I had to rectify the problem. After weighing all of the options, I called Drew and told him our decision, he was MORE than happy to accommodate our choice. We went to the store and when we met Drew he was so kind, compassionate and apologetic. He made this potential horrible situation into a pleasant, worthwhile exchange. We live about 3.5 miles from the Liberty Lake store, HOWEVER, do to Drew and how willingness to make things right, we will drive the 35 minutes to go to this store. Thank you so much Drew

As an Army veteran who put three years in and got discharged Honorably, I was told at Home Depot any military discount is for active military personnel. Even with a valid DDForm 214, that is not evidence of military service. Any discount is not for us who have served Honorably.

I really have good experiences in Home Depot. The have helpful, friendly, and most of the time knowledgeable staff. I shop mainly at the one past Wendel ford on north division. I just prefer them over their competitor, and I like their store layout better.

Be wary of this store; I use the corporate website a lot to order supplies for a house I am building and the store and curbside pick up at this location is the WORST. I just spent 45 minutes today for a pickup that was supposed to be in one of the lockers; should be easy, right? Well, only half the order was in the locker and three associates and managers later -- as well as several examinations of the box with half the order -- they finally decide it just must be lost in the store somewhere. They did find it about 15 minutes later, but I had already left. The curbside wait time is often at least 20 minutes. What is the point of conveniently ordering online and having items delivered to the store if the store is so incompetent and lacking in personnel to manage it properly?

Terrible experience. We will never special order cabinets and cupboards there ever again!! We ordered 11 base cabinets and 6 upper 42 inch tall cabinets. We also ordered 11 boxes of Pergo flooring. Everything was damaged including the flooring!!!!! One of the upper cabinets had the whole back kicked in.The only good thing is that Home Depot refunded our money.We let our friends and family know

Purchased 1700$ in tools online and set pick up on division location. Got email saying 1000$ in items was picked up! Called the store and turned into a mess till they finally figured out I didn’t pick anything up. Long story short between them and capital one card I got through Home Depot !! Had dishwasher delivered and installed yesterday. Could not change settings. Called at 8:30 am was given # for insurance claim. On hold for 52 minutes. Waited for call til noon, called and was told would be a month to send someone out. Not acceptable to me. And I should contact the store. Tried calling the store was hung up on twice and didnt get through to a person twice. Called back again and was told they were busy but took my name and number and promised would call me. 6 hours later and no call! Have a feeling they will see mebright and early in the morning

My husband and I went in today to look for a sink top, we found a nice one. As we were both physically struggling to get it on the cart, 3 employees all huddled together did not even offer to help. We asked where a cart could be located and one of them said wed probably find one outside... Okay, its pouring rain. Thanks.Finally found one person who was very helpful. Mr. Martin, in bath, was awesome!!! Very helpful and deserves a shout out!!Some employees help, and some dont even notice youre standing there.

Customer Service is TERRIBLE! I was shopping for new lights for my mothers house and the older gentleman working the light section was very rude when asking him questions about light fixtures. He kept saying Do you not believe me? a total of three times. Yes I believe you, but when Im asking questions about something, rather than be rude and keep asking me if I dont believe you, the guy could have simply showed me the light fixture out of the box what it looked like. Thats all I was curious about was where the switch was to change the color of lighting. Having a bad day or not, no customer should be treated this way, bad choice of words on his part.

The store has great inventory but the help is really bad. I found a sink base cabinet and a sink I wanted. I told the clerk at the register I wanted the sink and cabinet. Showed her pictures. I asked for help getting them up to the register. She looked the products up on her phone and told me they were out of stock. I told her I had just photographed them on the shelf! She looked at her phone again for a while. I told her I would get someone else to help. Went to the cabinet again and asked the guy standing there if he could help me get it up to the register for purchase. He told me to go get a flat bed cart and he would load it up so I could push it up to the register. I am a 70 year old woman with a limp. Give me a break. The help are apathetic at best and down right unhelpful at the worst. I will have to go back because they have what I need but it is not going to be a good experience.

Had a really negative experience at this location trying to get pieces of lumber ordered and cut. We waited two days for our order to be ready, just to get there and be told that they lost our order. The associate went and got all of the pieces again. We waited in line to get the wood cut. A women cut in line and demanded her pieces to be cut and the associate did it right away despite us being next in line. The associate finally got around to cutting our pieces, but no apology or acknowledgment whatsoever. Overall, a really frustrating experience and we will not be back.

Purchased a new garage door opener there on June 24; before the purchase I asked how Home Depot could get installation done. An employee led me to a pad of pre-printed Home Depot-designed handouts explaining how to purchase the installation at the checkout or on-line. After being sent to the wrong place twice by different employees, got in the customer service line about 8:55 pm, but by the time I got to the head of the line it was 9:01 pm. The customer service woman said the only persons who couldve processed the installation purchase at the check-out were sent home at 9:00 pm. Took the garage door opener outside & completed the installation purchase on-line after about 15 minutes of work on my phone, costing $87.00. The instructions stated that I would be called by someone from Clopay Inc. about scheduling the installation. By the following Monday afternoon, no one had called, so I called the store. A manager said he would investigate and call back. No one called by a day later, so I called again and was put through to the millworks department. An employee told me they have no one to do garage door opener installations. I said, you must be mistaken, because I HAVE PURCHASED AN INSTALLATION from Home Depot. She repeated that, no, I hadnt because they have no one to do it. I expressed great disagreement and she put me through to Jon Kam, store manager on duty. He apologized and said there was no way Home Depot would be doing the installation for me because they had no one to do it. He said his sincere apology was going to have to be sufficient for my inconvenience. I emphasized that I had contracted in good faith with Home Depot and that they could easily locate any one of dozens of available door opener installers in Spokane if their contractor no longer was available. He refused. He said my only remedy was a refund. I said, no, my remedy is to get Home Depot to fulfill its contractual obligation with me and that I would use small claims court to compel them to fulfill that obligation if necessary. He said he was going to end the call. I again asked him to confirm he was refusing on Home Depots behalf to fulfill their contractual obligation. He said, yes, he was, in fact, refusing. The following Friday (July 2), I concluded that, as a non-wealthy person, it wasnt worth my time to go to small claims court (which, in Spokane County is well known as a MERCHANTS court), so I returned to Home Depot to obtain the $87.00 refund. A different on-duty store manager was present. He showed me nothing but disrespect and almost refused to go through with the refund after impatiently listening - talking over me several times - to what Id gone through to that point. I asked him when Home Depot turned into such an anti-consumer organization, having in the past almost always enjoyed pleasant interactions there even when Home Depots standard of service had come up way short. He had no comment. He instructed an inexperienced customer service person (in his early 20s) to attempt to process the refund, but that person didnt know how. It ended up taking me about 45 minutes from the time I arrived before the refund was completed. I told the on-duty store manager that Home Depot had just made me a Lowes customer for life (not that Lowes is that much better) and that I would be returning to Home Depot ONLY as a LAST RESORT, if what I needed COULD BE FOUND NO PLACE ELSE.

The first time I encountered this attitude I thought someone was just having a bad day. Then returned a few days later and experienced the same attitude from other associates. Ive always had agood experience at Home Depot. Sometimes, they dont have what you need, but thats to be expected at any store.The associates are always happy to help, friendly, and knowledgeable. Short version...Racially discriminated against me twice.Disrespects disabled customers.Cannot competently deliver appliances. Will break them before delivery then make shoddy repairs. Will mess up the inside of your home.Long version...This store constantly blocks the walking path to the disabled parking with the large orange flat carts. This forces disabled and elderly to either move the carts, if they can, or walk the long way around the end caps of the parking rows.They should get ticketed no less than someone blocking the actual disabled parking spots.This store also hires incompetent appliance delivery pros, who soaked the floor with water because they were too inept to ask for a bucket before disconnecting the water. They also ripped away brackets on the corner of the appliance and then secured them back down with that clear tacky stuff, like what they use to attach a gift card to the cardboard backing. Its not even glue it doesnt harden. They intentionally broke it then tried to hide that. So we refused delivery.When we went back for a refund, a white employee named Bill was okay with white women cursing 4 letter words, but when me and my non-white skin complained about how slow a refund was taking (about 25 minutes at that point) and asked for our paperwork so we could leave he told me I had to leave.This is the second time I have been racially discriminated at this Home Depot. Prior, a white customer service employee was helping a line full of white people. When I walked up he took one look at me and walked away. The manager was forced to give me a $100 Dremel for free.

Good: Visiting Home Depot had inspired various projects around my home. Ive also generally received great customer service in various departments & love the variety of plants available during the summer.Bad: I love that pets are allowed, however I narrowly missed dog poop in a busy area of the store. An associate was sweeping the other side of the aisle, so I went over to let them know. The associates immediate reaction to me, prior to even letting them know what was going on, was incredibly negative and rude. This associate may have been experiencing a bad day, however I do not appreciate the way they treated me.

The store is great and the employees try to be helpful. However, the parking lot is a nightmare to navigate, with overflow plants and nursery stock, crowded parking spaces, and an accident waiting to happen between shoppers and departing vehicles. Best to avoid during peak hours.

I use to love Home Depot, but lately everything is a hassle. We went in to rent a floor sander, mind you we have sanded many wood floors. The guy in the rental department preceded to tell us we could not rent the machine because he had little sandpaper. We tried telling him what we were doing and he basically ignored us! I purchased two lights on line with the intention of returning one. That was another hassle brought the light and receipt in both lights were on it. He told me the light was not one the receipt and it was called swirl light. I had to point out the light on receipt and find the picture on the box before he would believe me. Then he opened it to check it to make sure it was the light. That same day I returned a light to Lowe’s no hassles, no checking in and out in 5 minutes. I just don’t understand I know things are tough but it seems you would treat your customers better!

This review is for Home Depot online ordering and customer service...I ordered a new washer and dryer to be delivered along with installation and removal of my old ones. Upon deliveryI was told I did not order the removal of my old appliances or installation of the new ones even though I know I did. Called customer service and they were useless and basically told me it was my fault and there was nothing they could do. Thats not how customer service is supposed to work. Their answer should have been, Im sorry about the mix up, let me fix that for you. Will not be ordering online from Home Depot again.

Only thing I can say is that I had to load concrete for some little old ladies cuz nobody else would do it couple workers said I dont get paid to do that

Busy place but we found what we needed - cushions for our Adirondack chairs. There will be a little more comfort when were sitting outside enjoying the summer evenings (as well as summer mornings and afternoons 🙂).

I dont really have much good to say. I literally had to tell the cashier how many pieces of insulation they had, I had to go find the sku number instead of her being able to find the insulation by dimensions and r value. Then the whole place was so backed up and I had to wait an hour to leave. The biggest plus are the prices.

Management was rude discrimated my family because of our car said we were obviously homeless in front of customers.After we spent our money in there said it was a family store familys that live in houses HOME DEPOT took our pictures called police.Who never arrived btw.We were shopping for a friend who has a home.Our living arrangments dont concern him.Never will we shop there again..

Made an online purchase for in store pick up, went to store, employee was supposed to retrieve my package from back of store, instead decided I was not important enough and decided to help several other customers. Ended up waiting around 30 minutes, then when packaged arrived from in back it had been opened and was full of dust and dirt. Horrible customer service I would not recommend this store to anyone.
