Bought a new rifle there recently they have a good selection. Went back to get ammo, guy says see the girl even though he was standing there doing nothing. I waited over 15 min. why she was helping this guy who apparently just bought a gun he wasnt buying ammo. Finally I got disgusted and left. Fine way to treat someone that just spent $1000 dollars there when I could have bought the rifle for $100 less on line. They have a very indifferent attitude. So much for giving the local people the business. Girl has attitude also.

I will never go into this place again! I was treated with such rudeness and out-and-out contempt over something that was the owners fault. I parked near the front door. Looks like a regular parking space. No yellow curb, no loading zone or no parking signs. I went inside. A clerk was helping a customer at the counter at the other end of the store. The aftican american lady behind the counter where I came in got up from her desk and just looked at me. I frinally asked, Are you sales help? She pointed at the front door and said, I am the owner. Is that your white car. outside I said yes. She said, You cant park there. I get deliveries all the time. I said, Well it would help if you put a no parking sign or somtthing there. How was I supposed to know? She said rudely, Most people can figure out they should not park there.. I said, So, you want me to go back out, move my car, and come back in, and there is nothing to indicate I should not have parked there in the first place? She then got outright confrontational and said, Dont argue with me. I told her, Oh, dont worry about that, I wont argue with you. You just lost a customer, and she said fine as I turned and walked out. Customer relations means nothing to her, apparently. She does not deserve the support of the community she serves, in my opinion.

Kind of a serious atmosphere. The pawn shop across the street is more helpful.

This place used to be great under the old ownership. Id give it a zero now if I could. Prices are bunk, selection is weak (even before all this b.s.) and half the staff is terrible. Dont waste your time.

Ive been to this location several times and have no complaints. The owners and staff are great at conversing and are always be interested in what they do. This store offers plenty of military and military-like items for decent prices. Like I said, I have no complaints and like the fact that Sierra Vista has such a store.

I have shopped here since they 1st opened. I was glad to see when they expanded into a larger space as their inventory grew. However, I personally have not been to thrilled with the change I have seen over the last 6 months. Although the staff is friendly and inventory good, the prices have sky rocketed. A gun I bought out the door for $375, a month later was $425 before tax. I try to support local business but also want a decent deal. I can save $50 and support local businesses by walking across the street.

Perfect as always. Ran by people with discipline and common sense. They generally have what youre looking for and if they dont theyre likely to obtain it for you ASAP, OR present to you something else equal or greater and worth your while. Shop is straightforward and no one haggles, hassles, or blows smoke. Theyre knowledgeable and its very easy to feel comfortable in there, as if theyre extended family you didnt know you had. Placed order for a coupe firearms, did paper work ect.. they never processed it. Also asked for ammo that I received, got home and wrong ammo was in the bag. Descent assortment of used firearms and really good assortment of military surplus items. Friendly staff, fair prices, reasonable well kept store. Fun to see glimpses of the past through military surplus items. Lots of military memorabilia on display (not for sale) is fun to look at. This place is now on my list to stop at on my through Sierra Vista.

Great people who really know how to treat customers right. I’ve bought a lot of stuff in Apocalypse and will continue to do so. Jim and Kara are great people who work hard to make sure you get a great deal and are 100% satisfied. Daniel is very knowledgeable and can answer just about any question you may have. I visited recently with my husband. I had read the great reviews and was curious, so we headed to Sierra Vista for a little day trip.This is the best military surplus store I have ever been to, hands down. We were not looking for anything certain, but we ended up with an awesome gently used rifle, a book, a patch for our sons new cap, and quite a few medical supplies. While the weapon was an amazing find, I was thrilled to finally find a map/chart holder. Ive been looking for one for ages but no one local has had one. Score!The owner and staff are courteous and know their business. Whats more is they are down to earth and clearly enjoy their work and interacting with customers.We will be back. Its worth the drive from Tucson.

Superb service. I casually mentioned having ordered new glass for my AR online and an employee (or maybe owner) told me to bring it down and theyd bore sight it for me. After learning that Id never installed the part I was purchasing on a rifle before, the man that helped me was adamant about giving me detailed instructions on installing the part on my rifle without damaging it. It made me feel like he actually deeply cared about me not goofing up my own equipment.

The staff is friendly, helpful, and not pushy to get a sale. I was asked many questions and got full explanations before I made a decision (edit - corrected an auto-correct error) about what to buy. Im very satisfied and will shop here again.

Ever since Jim and Kara sold the business the inventory of the store has dropped off and the new owners appear not to be motivated to restock the normal inventory thats in the store, everything I asked for they dont have and dont know when theyre going to get it, and it seems like their attitude towards it is very weak so everything that they didnt have I had to go online to buy it, I wont be going back to that store again

Do yourself a favor and go to Apocalypse Arms for your new or used firearm needs instead of the big box stores. I always prefer to support our small business people over the big corporation. Apocalypse has a nice selection of used firearms if you are seeking a value purchase. Firearms are well displayed and store has bright lighting. Also has large selection of military surplus. Ill be back for my next firearm purchase and I live in Phoenix - about 250 miles away. Even if you think you are just looking - get off the internet and go see the store in person.

I only went in to look around. This place is packed with military items. Mostly clothing, but plenty of other stuff. Ribbons, unit patches, unit crests, helmets, tents, etc. etc.

Ive visited numerous surplus stores around the country. This is absolutely the best! It has an ever changing stock, its not just piles of musty old uniforms. There is gear here for every level of customer from soldiers needing to replace CIF to preppers or survival enthusiasts. The firearm selection is great and trustworthy. If theres anything you need and cant find just ask. The staff is knowledgeable and personable. Ill often just drop by to say hi and see whats new.

Ordered a pistol online and used Apocalypse Arms as my FFL transfer. Friendly staff, excellent selection of firearms at a reasonable price, and lots of quality accessories like holsters and cases. I spoke with one of the owners who related that the military surplus side of their business has been overshadowed by their firearms sales. I think they will give Trailboss some stiff competition.

For being the only military surplus store in Sierra Vista, this place is pretty well stocked. Had to buy some BDUs for my sons Civil Air Patrol squadron. They are phasing these out at this store, but they had a few left. The gentleman at the counter actually went down to their storage area in the back and got us pants.All in all, this is a great store. They have a fantastic assortment of guns, ARs, rifles, and accessories. They stock BDUs and have a pretty good selection of used uniforms.Very happy with this store and the staff.
