This place has the worst customer service I’ve ever seen. The cashiers (who are all old miserable females) are so rude and unprofessional. I have no idea who is hiring these women because they have absolutely no business working in retail/customer service. The older blonde cashier was just nasty and so unpleasant. They are NEVER at the register and ringing the bell is useless because they just ignore you anyway. I’ve never felt compelled to write a review like this but it’s been happening too many times. Very lazy and VERY rude clerks. Please find new people to hire.

Cookies were outdated gotta be careful to check expiration dates. When told the associated she said your right, but didnt remove them. She said Ill get to them later and walked away.

I was at your store in Saratoga springs New York and regarding no bags issued to Customer’s after shopping we’re not allowed to remove cards from store to vehicle I’ve had several problems with your employee that worked on 9 October at 4:30 and this ain’t the first time every time I shop here this lady gives me and my wife a hard time if it ain’t about how we put the money on the counter we can hand it to her or just helping us in service in general disrespectful disgruntled employee I’m in business for myself and I would not like any of my employees treating any of my customers with disrespect as she has and I’m not the only customer she has done it to I don’t need to hear that you guys don’t have enough employees and that’s your problem not hers

Great as always also the manager and the assistant manager are very polite and courteous to me and everybody else who comes in there they also have great prices on a lot of things in the thing that I especially like the most above everything else besides the prices is that it saves me a trip from going all the way into town or all the way out to exit 15 I live in Middle Grove and its about a 15-minute drive at most their toilet paper paper towels laundry soap dish soap things like that are cheaper than everywhere else that I have found I especially like family Dollar because I am able to load money onto my PayPal card which is very convenient considering I bank at Saratoga national Bank which just so happens to be in the same plaza as family Dollar so that is very helpfulAlso I never feel like I am rushed when I am shopping there I really like that alot because I do not like to feel rushed I like to take my sweet old time lol I would highly recommend it to anybody I know or any of my online family or friends I hope this helps and I hope everybody reading this is having a lovely day

Most of the time they have what I need due to covid not have as much as before. I love this store anyway always in my budget for everything I need.

Very poor customer service with Heather. Told me she couldnt sell me cigarettes because she had a problem with her hand and couldnt open cabinet. Only because I questioned her did she eventually get me what I requested. She has actually been rude to me before but I dismissed it as I thought maybe she couldnt understand my accent. I will be making a formal complaint to Regional Manager as Im sure she is losing business for the shop.

Always find items at a good price. Great clearance sales. They are open early enough to stop on my way into work too! Have a good variety and selection of items.

Went in today to look at the shorts. Walked in and not a single employee in sight and there was a horrendous smell coming from the coolers they have in front. The prices were great. I liked some of the shorts on the hangers. It is very small so there is no way/no where for a customer to try on an article of clothing. To tell if it will fit right or if it looks good on them.

There is never anyone around at the cash register. You need to ring a bell and then still wait for a cashier. There normally outside smoking and cant hear the bell!

A lower-end store. A bit smaller and carries less items than some. Just strikes me as old, dirty and cluttered. Plus there used to be a lot of cleaning and personal care items that you could get at Family Dollar that were cheaper than anywhere else but Walmart has surpassed them on most things now, so I seldom find a reason to go out of my way to visit Family Dollar now.

The assistant manager is rude and shouldnt be in customer service...

Worst family Dollar Ive ever been to. Manager is rude and store is a mess. You cant find anything you need in the store and when you ask, you are called names. Ill never go back there!!!!
