I always love shopping at Michaels. They were low on inventory but I overhead an employee saying that there was some problem with items coming in from China. Which is why I think we should rely less on China and go back to making things in 🇺🇸! That is my little personal editorial. It would have been nice if anyone asked me if I needed any help. It was clear that I was walking around looking for things. In fact I was looking and reading about clay for 10 min. Two different employees walked past me and not once asked me if I needed anything.

Nice store...just didnt have what I needed and must be under staffed because there was not a single employee to ask where things were. Will stick with Hobby Lobby.

I needed a last minute frame, preferably one to match another frame given to me by my mother, for a gallery display. It is my first gallery. Brittany (? Started with B and memory is terrible from sick so hope correct) In the frame department did such a wonderful job.She took her time cleaning the glass, the frame, the picture, and wanted to make it the best presentation possible for a fellow artist. I cant thank her enough for her positive attitude and professionalism! She could have been upset knowing it was last minute and I was rushing...I had been sick and laid up in bed after surgery and didnt even know my work was due at time of payment/form submission so I was caught off guard. I even had an emergency vet appointment pushing me closer to the deadline.There was a frame identical so they could be displayed side by side and looked AMAZING! Even the lady from Art on 12 mentioned it looked really good in the frame.I know where I will be bringing my business from now on.Thank you!

Nice store. Has the brushes I like. The Deer foot is one of my favorites. I use this brush for painting most of my skies. My most favorite brush ever.

I did not find the things I needed in the fine arts section which was barely more than what you find at Walmart. They were having a paint sale, so I decided to try some professional quality Daniel Smith watercolor paint. I understand that it has to be locked up, the tubes are small and its expensive, but I had to spend 5 minutes finding an employee. Then they could not find the right keys. I waited another 10 minutes before it was unlocked by a supervisor.The odd thing is the employee that first helped me and the supervisor both let me walk away with the paint to keep shopping. The reason its locked up is that the employee that unlocks the case is supposed to carry it to the register to prevent theft.

No Fall Season decor, already Christmas stuff! 2 months away, seriously?! 😑

More expensive than Hobby Lobby but seem to have better products. Also the store vibe is really calming.

Lots of art supplies, good paints and brushes. Most of the art supplies are good. Wood products still have some little chips of wood on them. otherwise, great.

They actually had the supplies that I needed instead of hobby lobby...a hobbyist .. depending on what they are doing.. should definitely go to both stores...if one dont have the items you need go to the other store...I did and will continue to do so.

Fastest curbside pickup I’ve witnessed. I received my order faster than the fast food I got prior to getting there.

Work done later than promised, no call when ready, and did not use the art frames I chose. Could have had art re-framed but didnt feel like making another trip through traffic to pick up what was not done correctly in the first place. Pricing and discounts were okay.

Always courteous and they monitor how many shoppers are in the store. They were stocked reasonably well for holiday time and I didnt have to wait in line too long.

I Love Michaels its one of my favorite stores.. Always have great finds and great prices... However, this woman at the checkout looked like and gave me vibes like she didnt want to be there and had a vague attitude.. I understand that we all have issues and were human... But if your going into a CX service role you have to be exceptional because thats what makes customers come back... I was there between 12pm and 2pm.. 1 person can ruin the whole vibe for you at a certain place. I knw yall can do better!!!

Not well stocked with items we were seeking. No plastic sleeves for albumpages. No photo corners.

Nice and clean. No staff offered to help while I was wondering around.. Highly priced compared to Hobby Lobby and the products sold didnt seem any different to me.

I love this store. Its still fairly new in this shopping center, so its clean and brightly lit. The employees are super helpful and friendly. My one complaint is that its actually pretty small, so things get stacked a bit high on shelves rather than being easier to access.

Whats not to love about Michaels?! They have everything imaginable for your arts and crafts needs. They have great prices and I love their home decorating section.

The two things I like most about Michaels; First, they stay open later than a certain other craft store which was a huge help (there was an emergency situation). Second, The girl working in the picture frame department was great. She gave me an idea that saved my mistake. Oh, and $10 wood crates, awesome!

Love it here! They are always having sales and the staff is very helpful. I do however suggest going a a few hours before closing or right after they have opened their doors. It always seems to be crowded mid-day

Its a small store but well organized. Ive never had any real issues finding what I need unless its something they just dont carry at all. The employees Ive talked to were friendly and knowledgeable. Im glad to have an alternative crafting store to Hobby Lobby in town, although I do still have to go to the for certain items.

The employees are truly the best! They are always to be of assistance and go well above what youd expect if you run into a problem like I did with an online order /pick up in store situation. They handled it with kindness and professionalism and even though I had to go to another store to finish my order, they set it up for me and made sure it was available.

I like this store. As an art student at Texas State, I am frequently in need of art supplies. Unfortunately we dont have the kind of art stores Austin has, however I find that Michaels typically has most of what I need for my classes. While some things can be a little pricey, they almost always have coupons you can get online to help you with higher-priced items. At this particular location I have found the employees to be friendly and helpful. A few times I have had to ask what they would recommend for a particular task and they always give me a few options and guide me to the correct aisles. The store is clean, well organized and stocked. The location is also convenient with plenty of parking and right by Target and Specs ;)

I always enjoy craft stores. They are well organized and offer a variety of items to spark your creativity. They offer an app as well but I have not used it myself. They tend to run slightly higher but you can really hit some good sales if you are willing to look or wait.

Needed to pickup utensils for a wedding and this location had a very good selection. Location is conveniently located off Ih35 and can be accessed from North and South bound traffic. Staffing was very friendly and very eager to help and had good knowledge of product locations within the store. Prices were very reasonable and the store had several sales being advertised.

My daughter and I had so much fun picking out their discounted Halloween items. They didnt have very many decorations, but what they had was absolutely adorable. My daughter also picked up several baking pans for her cookie cakes. They carry the large sizes. I bought several sizes of beads for bracelets and necklaces. They carry so many beautiful colors and trying to match my earrings was difficult because they have several shades of turquoise. No, not all turquoise is the same, lol. What was even better is that they were 50% off plus my teacher discount. We were pretty happy with our purchases.

The staff is super friendly and nice here. My one complaint is its hard to get around on the handicap cart here. I feel like I bang into a lot of stuff trying to get around. Otherwise I love coming to this location ♡

This is one of the few stores where its ok to start putting out holiday items a month or two before the holiday. Crafts take time! The store is well lit, clean, and the staff polite. Plenty of crafts and tasks to keep you busy.

Lots of interesting stuff to choose from. Christmas decorations and ideas abound.

Variety of materials

Literally nobody knows what to do. Theyll accuse you of stealing if you try to return something but isnt on the receipt because the person who checked you out did a discount wrong and if you dont have a rewards membership thing. I didnt lose any money from them but it was the fact the manager accused me of stealing a small $2 pallet.
