Andreas T was great! I went to the store on Halloween right before closing (I thought they were open until 8). In no way did I feel rushed or pressured to purchase. The customer service was great and I was given options on payment plans or other mattresses. I purchased that evening along with the cooling cover and had it scheduled for delivery today! It was one of the easiest transactions ever. Cant wait to have a good nights sleep and am definitely recommending Andreas at Mattress Firm.

Just went and bought a mattress with the help of Andreas and Isaiah. I had a really good experience! They guided me through the different choices and explained some of the differences. I am trying to find queen size mattress for my daughter in order for her to settle down here before I leave San in just a few days. Last night I googled to see if there is any store close to where I rented Airbnb after I learned that ordering online from Amazon wont work for me, I found Mattress Firm that has a very good reviews is just a few blocks away. So my daughter and I tried our luck in the last hour before the store was closed. I actually didnt put much hope on this trip but I was very impressed by the service rep there (I dont want to call sale rep since he did more service to us as customers than sale). We ended up bought nice mattress in my daughter budget range. On top of that, we also bought pillows as well as bed cover and sheet set. More important is that all those are scheduled to be delivered tomorrow! It gave me the peace when I leave on the Saturday that my daughter will have a nice bed to rest with in her new home.

He also introduced us to the COVID safety protocols he and the store were following, which made trying the mattresses possible. We’d planned to maybe sit on them for feel but not lay on them until he updated us on the process.After a few minutes, he checked on us at the perfect time as we had cultivated a few questions by this time. At this moment, the experience turned from good to great!Julio had an articulate answer to all of our questions. He would proactively add to his response anticipating questions to come, which put our minds at ease. Rather than showing us every model in the store, he asked us some key questions and showed us three brands he recommended. We liked this because it kept it simple and we didn’t become overwhelmed with too many choices and variables.Julio was an encyclopedia of information! Even if you don’t need a mattress but have sleep questions, he’ll be your guy. We learned so much and, by this time, felt so comfortable that we shared about our aches, pains, and recent lack of sleep. He was empathetically leaving us feeling very seen and understood.We told him we would not be buying the same day, that we wanted to think about it. He was very agreeable to this and provided us his name and contact for follow-up questions. He integrated a bit of his personal experience, having purchased a mattress recently himself. Our rapport by this point was so good that we took his personal experience to heart and, in our minds, chose the bed he had personally purchased. You can buy a bed, lay on it till the sales people tell you to stop spilling Michters on the beds, go eat steak to fuel you massive pecks and protective covering for your six packs and then touch all the instruments your not supposed to and get banned from all the SF guitar centers. 11/10, would buy a Beauty Rest with movable base again. Best experience! I called into this location and spoke with Juan. He was super friendly and helpful over the phone. When I went into the store he remembered me and everything we talked about on the phone. While in the store, Juan walked me through his suggestions which were exactly what I needed. This process can be hard sometimes and I usually feel like I’m being sold the most expensive for no reason. Juan did not do this and I ended up having the best experience while choosing a mattress and accessories that are perfect for me. Victor has been amazing to work with to find the best mattress that suits my body anatomy. Finding the right mattress was fun, and I felt like I learned a lot about different mattress technology from Victor. The selection of mattresses available is pretty good. They seem to have a little something for everyone at different price points and firmness levels but I do wish they had more variety to choose from especially with hundreds of options to choose from, from online vendors.

Although it was a Friday night and a half an hour before store closing, he was still very cheerful and a delight to work with. This was my first time in a store like this, and I really didn’t know much about the products and what will suit my needs. I gave Juan a brief description of what I’m looking for and he took his time to show me the products that were within my price range with the description I had for him. And I must say I’m thrilled and couldn’t be happier! I ended up getting the “cloud” pillow and I will most definitely be back some time this year to purchase another pillow and a new mattress. We bought a mattress today from Juan Flores and had a very enjoyable and seamless experience. Juan was a delight to work with — he knew exactly which direction to point us in and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t want. 10/10 would work with him again.

The people who work here are lovely people. My. only issue is with the corporate side . The try it guarantee is misleading and degrading. I was not prepared to be alone with a young man video taping my bed the waiting to see if my mattress was acceptable for felt like a long time, As I. waited the man asked how old I am were I am from.. I do not recall reading about the like new requirement in the contract, I assume it was somewhere in the fine print being warned that the mattress must be like new. I probably would have cleaned it if I was not debilitated by pain. I told myself that should not be an issue anyway. Selling used mattresses would require rigorous cleaning and sterilization during Covid. I. paid $494 dollars to trade up. No requests for refund were not addresses weeks later. I had a hip replacement, Sinking into the Nectar preclude slip getting out of bed is. perilous I will probably throw the matresss away. After not working and looking forward to additional surgeries this has been extremely stressful anduncomfortable

I had ordered a mattress for my son who lives in SF. I ordered it online through the website, but the follow-up email was not sent, and the mattress was not delivered when it was supposed to be. I called the Nob Hill store, and Everett Washington tracked down the delivery. Not only did he fix the problem, I ended up with an upgrade to a fantastic mattress. My son is now sleeping soundly, and Everett should be commended for his quick and efficient problem solving. So nice when a human answers the phone and gets things done quickly!

Getting good quality sleep had been a challenge for me because of my herniated disc, which caused a significant amount of pain while sleeping. I have bad neck and shoulder pains from previously getting rear ended a couple of times and lately it has been affecting my quality of life. It probably didnt help that I had a super old Ikea bed from when I was in college that definitely needed to be retired.Came here during Memorial Day weekend looking for relief. I did a ton of research before coming to the store to try out beds. I had my eyes on the Purple mattress but ended up going with a different mattress instead.I had the best experience today and I owe it all to Everett! I spent a good amount of time going back and forth between a couple of mattresses and the best part was that he never ever rushed me or made me feel as though I was bothersome. Whether you’re shopping for a new mattress or just taking a look around, this Mattress Firm has what you need. 4th of July sale was a great idea to come in. The best part was the service. When you come in and say you’re just looking around, some salesmen get pushy and crowd your space while you just want to let the bed do the talking. No one knows this more then John S. He guided me and Fiona in the right direction, gave us options based on our preferences and introduced us to the life changing adjustable bases that were on sale. (Seriously check those bases out). Couldn’t have had a better a better experience. This place is the flagship for all the mattress firms in the city. You won’t be disappointed. Thanks again John.

I really needed a new mattress badly and I walked in here and was greeted by Everett who was incredibly helpful, informative and patient (I’m incredibly indecisive lol). They have Covid safety protocols in place for trying out the mattresses and everything is sanitized. I ended up getting the Katrice Beautyrest memory foam mattress, which is firm but still soft and forms to my body and is good for sleeping on my side, back and stomach. Great experience from purchase to delivery!

I called with what I thought was a strange request...I really loved the mattress that I was sleeping on, but wanted to upgrade to a Queen from a Full. I really wanted to get something with the exact same firmness without having to deal with those mattress-in-a-box options and potentially returning and exchanging a bunch of huge mattresses if I didnt end up liking it. Literally sounds like my nightmare. 👹The only problem was that I didnt buy the Full mattress Ive been sleeping on for the past 5 years, but the girl I got it from luckily left me a receipt from 2013 when she moved out. I dug it up yesterday and found that she bought it at a Sleep Train on Van Ness. After some quick Googling, I learned that Sleep Train was no more (single tear.. ⚰️🚂), and it was bought by Mattress Firm. Slight panic started to set in, and I was worried I might have to deal with searching for the perfect mattress while sheltering in place. 😫Luckily for me, a super cool dude named Everett Washington (yes, just like the city) answered the phone. Not only was he able to pull up the original order from 2013, he was was able to suggest a couple similar but modern recommendations for what would be my very first mattress purchase, without being too pushy or a cheese-y sales-guy. He was great about helping me, and even threw in a mattress protector as a part of the Memorial Day sale! For a purchase like this one where I always assumed had to happen in-person, it was a surprisingly smooth process to do over the phone.This was all yesterday and the mattress is scheduled to come in tomorrow — I doubt any direct-to-consumer mattress company can beat that 2-day shipping time. Granted, I havent even slept on my new mattress yet, so this review is purely based on the awesome customer service I got from Everett!And I know it seems like I must be one of those super serious Yelp reviewer types who writes novels similar in length to this one for every single innocuous little foodie adventure — BUT THAT IS INCORRECT!!!!! I actually hate writing customer reviews and this is a v rare instance. Also, I have a lot of time on my hands these days because, well, COVID. 🦠Theyre starting to open up again with the relaxed COVID guidelines, so if youre in San Francisco and need to figure out what mattress to get, make sure to call Mattress Firm Nob Hill! 🙂
