I had a great experience with James Yu from San Francisco Honda, and I can’t recommend him enough! I’d been considering a compact SUV for a while now, but it’s really become a seller’s market out there with the microchip shortage.This was my first time shopping for a car of my own, and it had generally been a miserable experience until I connected with James. By that point in my search, I was exhausted from speaking with dealers who would give me insane quotes that were at least $5k above MSRP and/or basically tell me to take a hike if I tried to negotiate for more favorable terms.The Friday of Memorial Weekend 2021, I told James I was looking to lease a 2021 Honda CR-V EX and hoping to get it done within the next several days. James was immediately responsive and gave us a warm welcome when my boyfriend and I arrived at the dealership. After giving him a more detailed accounting of what we were looking for, it was off to the races! James didn’t try to pressure us into getting a bunch of add-ons that we didn’t want or need. Quan from Finance also was a pleasure to work with. Some of my past experiences with dealers left a really bad taste in my mouth because of just how aggressively everyone from the salesman to the finance office would try to upsell. There was none of that unpleasant aggression at SF Honda.James made sure I was able to get what I wanted, despite the car shortage. The CR-V we initially discussed literally sold while we were talking about acceptable terms at the dealership. Because we told him we needed to take a short day trip during the weekend and had hoped to drive off the lot with a car that same day, James even provided a loaner car as a courtesy until the car in my preferred color arrived. I had my car by Tuesday, and I couldn’t be happier!

Thanks, Greg Masangkay! Your assistance with the service on my Honda Pilot on July 26, 2021 was greatly appreciated. We had an issue with trans fluid costs while I was there for regular service. The original plan was supposed to cover the entire cost, but for some reason the service center thought the price was too low. In an effort to resolve the issue, Greg talked to their supervisor and management team. Throughout the process, he listened to me and had my best interests at heart. Excellent customer service is something I appreciate. Hopefully we can catch up soon.

❌ Beware of their questionable sales techniques ❌I went there with my pregnant wife to lease a car and the salesman talked with us for a few minutes, took us for a test drive provide us some estimate quotes on paper. At the end of the appointment, we asked him to send us the quote, he said yes.The next day we did not receive any quote, asked again and again over the phone, text, other salesmen, they always say yes but never send anything.I was not trying to lower the prices or anything, I just wanted to have an email with a price so I can compare prices for different models..The manager told me after a week, that they don’t provide quotes.I really don’t understand why it is confidential to get a baseline of prices available for potential customer. Do you ever shop and don’t get the price of something you want to buy/lease?If yes, that is 100% a scam.If you don’t want to leave a trace of something you sell, it is probably somehow illegal.This dealership is so shady and dishonest, I would strongly suggest you bring your business elsewhere.As a note some other dealership (other brands) have no issue sending us quotes, so it’s very specific to Honda and their questionable sales techniques. It is so unprofessional, and it felt uncomfortable to in such a respectable place and have the feeling to be scammed.If this review is still online, they didn’t call me to apologize for their behavior toward my wife and I.

I arrived there at 10:00 for 10:15 appointment they didnt start talking to me and take me in until 10:45 and then I had to wait until 2:00 before my car was released.... This was for a scheduled oil change... they just got into a new building and theyre working out the kinks..... but overall Im satisfied.

Buying a car these day can be quite a challenge and most dealers are adding ridiculous market adjustment increases.My experience in San Francisco Honda is the exact oposite. I first contacted them 2.5 months ago and had the pleasure to work with James.i was looking for a very specific car and they had it at a time, however i was not able to get it then because i was in chicago and detroit.I explain to James and he graciously said he would call me back once i got back.He called me back right on time and we began looking ito it.Unfortunately they didnt have the car anymore but he mentioned that he could try to get one for me.I decided first to look at other dealers but after poor treatment and many headaches i decided to go with James and i couldnt have made the best choice.The process was smooth and pretty straight forward and 2 days after i had the exact car i wanted and not what other dealers salesmen where trying to push me to buy.

I took my car in for an oil change, in the process they crash the right back bomber and attempted to exchange the damage they did for the price of the oil change which was $130,00. The damage to the car has been estimated to be over $3,000.00. The Service Manager of the SF Honda does not know the difference between rust and original Honda Primer. They scratch the car down to the metal. But is trying to take responsibility for just half of the damage they did. So I have given this to my insurance company.

People seemed like they didnt care about selling cars. Maybe they reached their sales goals already. I made appointment, went there 10 mins late, they made us wait 35 minutes before we could do a test drive. There wasnt a single customer around and we could easily count 10 employees walking around. We had to ask them what was the hold up, they said stuff like had to get gas and hard to bring the car down, you know its sf. Seriously you would think we were asking for a car for free or something. Not sure why the service was just non existentEnded up getting a killer deal at serramonte, with much better service.

I reached out to this dealership after reading all positive reviews and am sad to say that I had a very different experience. This dealership was disorganized and disrespectful to me. For whatever reason, be it my age, race, gender, they did not treat me like a serious customer or buyer.That was a mistake, because my 2016 Honda Civic Touring was totaled in a car accident where I was the victim of a hit-and-run that I almost lost my life in. When I got the check for the value of the car, my first choice was to get the same model for 2021 because of the safety features. I share this to indicate how serious of a buyer I am.Well, heres my story of how I was treated like anything but. After texting the dealership and making an appointment to come in, my allocated salesperson Daniela was not even there. After asking me to wait for some undisclosed amount of time for her, they assigned me Jessica. Jessica came in and seemed very unwilling to work with me. During our initial discussion, I asked a simple question on whether Jessica knew if there was price matching with Toyotas current financing, and asked to see the Civic Touring. Jessica floated off, and brought her finance manager, a terrible condescending woman who answered our question in the rudest way possible before realizing we hadnt even seen the vehicle. Jessica finally decided to try and get a Civic Touring for us to test drive and check out. She then disappeared for 40 minutes. After 30, someone came to ask us if wed be helped, and we said we hadnt seen her for awhile and did not know what was going on. They came back 10 minutes later and said Jessica was getting the car and we should be patient...2 min later, another sales rep came and told us that Jessica was tied up in something else, hadnt requested the vehicle, and that they did not even have a Touring in house. After speaking to 4 sales reps, 1 hr of waiting, the vehicle not being in house, and no vehicle made available for viewing at all, I decided to leave and take my business elsewhere. I suggest you do the same! There are other dealerships and companies better organized and able to meet your needs.PS: I got a follow up from a customer relations person named Jessie who reiterated unprompted that they were not able to meet the financing deal I asked about yesterday. I have no idea why they are stuck on this one question I asked. I was willing to discuss alternative ways to make this an attractive financing option, but it seems they have decided I am not a viable buyer. Because of their actions, that is now true.

I strongly recommend SF Honda for their integrity, professionalism, and courtesy, not attributes I often find with car dealerships. From the moment Jadon answered my cold call, his actions were transparent, and he held to his word. Jadon listened to what I wanted – no less than simply the deal offered by Honda Corporate – and made it happen without fuss or any slights of hand. He was articulate, communicative, available, kind, and professional. I came to SF Honda after another area Honda dealership had twice reneged on our verbal agreement, and yet another had dismissively told me “no dealer does the corporate deal.” I found not just Jadon but everyone at SF Honda, from the people on the floor to the people in finance, a pleasure to work with. It’s great to have SF Honda back on Van Ness Street; there’s no reason to leave the City to car shop with the amazing crew at SF Honda. Even worth the drive in from the suburbs!

By far the quickest transactions weve ever had in terms of buying a car.Our friend referred Gian Carlo to us and SF Honda team. We made an appointment the next day and he made sure everything is laid out pretty well when we arrived. We told him which kind and trim we wanted and fill in all the paperwork he needed. Were kind of skeptical at first since were trading in a 6-month old SUV, but voila! They made it happen! The van was already waiting for us outside the dealership when we arrived. I told my wife, that Ody was the same exact description I gave Gian so thats probably the one. And it is! The van came all the way from Vallejo and I was just talking to Gian about that particular trim sometime around midnight, yet he was able to make it available the next day. How was that even possible? The whole transaction took more or less 2 hours compare to almost 6-7 that we experienced from other dealerships. No wonder they have a solid base of customers that keep on coming back, imagine all the effort they put getting people in their new cars.Thank you guys for the very pleasant car-buying experience. We love our Honda Odyssey, hands down! Well definitely recommend you to our family and friends across the Bay.

I had talked to a sales rep, Jadon over the phone about a car that was posted online from this dealership. I asked if there was any wiggle room on the price. I was assured there was and Jadon had even went on to tell me hed never lost a sale over price....So, with this, i decided to make the 2 1/2 hour journey on over. After i was low balled on my trade in, we sat to discuss price of the vehicle i was interested in, only to find that they werent willing to budge a single cent. When i decided to walk, he assured me- i wouldnt find that same car for 100 miles around...I drove 40 mins south and purchased the car i had been searching for from Mercedes Benz of San Jose and was able to trade in my current vehicle for 2,600.00 more than offered at Honda SF. My advice, dont waste your time on these clowns.

I got a COVID car in 2020Which I was pretty happy with but felt like I could have been in something a little nicer for the price per month but couldn’t complain bc it was my first lease.It was a civic. Which I loved. Only stick shift in LA.Fast forward 1 year later I move to SF and it’s time for a routine maintenance.I jokingly ask James about trading cars.Mind you SF towed my car & scratched / dented my 2020 civic. Which was insult to injury bc I had to pay the tow fees and tickets.I mentioned that I would miss my stick shift and immediately started look my for a manual transmission ( which around here is apparently hard to find - I’m from WV ; pretty normal there )I let them know I was looking for something visually noticeable if trading was possible.We started to look at accords and other options similar. I told him I needed Apple car play & automatic where I’m in the city now.Long story short I fell in love with this pearl 2021 Honda Accord LX. & I told them I didn’t want to get my hopes up.James and I went on a test drive and I liked it even more.Jump ahead, Van & Jame started working with the bank & Christina began the paperwork while I checked insurance possibilities.Not long after they came back with a surprisingly comfortable payment that met my expectations / budget.They got the trade in approved & I left out of there with the nicest vehicle I’ve ever owned.They even detailed the car for me while we did paper work which didn’t take hours & was thoroughly explained by Christina quickly and efficiently.When both cars were ready they helped unload and load the vehicles.To top it all off. Right before I left Van stopped me to let me know he was able to get the monthly payment down $100 lower than I was originally happy with.I walked out of that dealership confused but in the most satisfied way.Hands down as long as I live in SF and get my vehicles with Honda I will be doing everything with this team.Finally 2021 🤞🏽

Probably the best car buying experience ever!!! Joel provided genuine gracious service. We found the car listed online on Consumer Reports. We contacted Joel with a price for the 2006 Sienna that we could afford and we thought was reasonable, he worked with us to come as close to the price as he could,all the while providing excellent service. They even brought the car to us to examine and test drive! We love our new car and know where we will look next if we ever need another!

We reached out to this dealership as first time buyers - this was our big mistake. The salesman laughed in our face and told us we were looking at entirely the wrong car, while in the same breath trying to sell us a new car (as if wed give this place the sale at that point). They had all sorts of hidden fees and costs, which brought the total price of the car literally $13,000+ over the sticker price. Admittedly, we were unintentionally looking out of our price range, but theres a respectful way to inform buyers of this - instead of just laughing/scoffing at them and being extremely rude and condescending. We got two different stories about the history of the car, and the loan inquiry forms were super shady - they listed the car as New, even though it was a Certified PO. I pointed this out and the salesperson said Oh yeah thats just what we put, but it doesnt matter.Ill never return to this dealership. Just save your time and go literally anywhere else.

Great service good cars. However when they sell you a car, they dont tell you that Hondas are probably the most theft prone cars. I love my 2018 Honda Accord Sport. On the other hand the dealership should have put wheel locks on the cars as a standard. I have had Honda rims stolen off my car 3xs in less than a year. The first time I had no wheel locks and after that I had wheel locks on and they still took the rims. So my advice is when you buy the car dont drive off the lot without making the dealer include wheel locks. After that I would recommend upgrading the car alarm, because each time my rims were stolen the factory alarm never went off. Hey even if they break your window the factory alarm will not go off. Great cars but thieves are always after Hondas.

I just purchased a CR-V Touring model at San Francisco Honda and couldnt be happier. I had driven from the Sacramento area to specifically see this vehicle. I was very impressed with LaQuan Moore (Finance Manager) & Nicklaus Oda ( Product Specialist). Nicklaus was very helpful, professional and also genuinely kind & efficient. LaQuan Moore knew everything & I mean everything about the purchasing process and has been in the business for over 14 years. Through his experience & knowledge, he was able to assist me so that I was able to trade in my older Honda Accord for my dream car. He is extremely good at what he does. My overall experience was very positive and not pressured which I appreciated as buying a new car can be very stressful depending on alot of circumstances. The 60 month service warranty I purchased gives me peace of mind & personally think it is well worth the cost . Thats just one of the reasons I will always drive a Honda. I had a flawless used car buying experience with Joel Castro at San Francisco Honda. The car I came by to see had been sold minutes earlier by someone else but Joel had a very similar model and was willing to negotiate on price. Joel respected that I had my own financing pre-arranged and did not try to apply any pressure to take financing from the dealership. While we waited for the contracts to be printed and signed, Joel was attentive and checked-in while simultaneously responding to questions from his sales team and other customers. Joel sent us away with a bunch of cleaning products for my new car as a courtesy for a short wait. A few days later, Joel sent me a text to ask how the car was working out. Found the perfect used car for me. 2019 Honda Fit LX with 8000 miles. For all intensive purposes this car is new. Found the car online and contacted SF Honda that I was interested. Cyrene and David guided me through the entire process of buying a car. It had been years since I purchased a car and thought car buying would be an ordeal, but they made the process enjoyable. Had 2 really good experience at this dealership with Angel. Bought a car in January and he worked with me to find the best option for me. It got totaled after a couple weeks. They the worst, i bought 2 cars and i leased 1 from them and they got there money every time and last month I went there to buy the leased car i have on the phone with honda financial services they said i can get it for 14000 when i got to there location on Van Ness they run my credit 12 times causing my credit that Ive been building a little by little to be destroyed 12 inquiries for them to come back later and tell me thats the car will be around $35,000 so these thieves I wanna charge me total of $35,000 for a $14,000 car for 2018 Honda fit

I went to SF Honda last Saturday to learn more about my lease options for a new Honda Fit. The woman who I spoke to was very helpful and before I left, I placed a deposit with them to secure the car while I pursued withdrawing the money to go forward.Yesterday, I was early to my appointment to finish the lease paperwork and arrange fir financing. The wonderful young woman receptionist was not only friendly, she looked for car I was to lease, got another salesperson to assist me (the woman from Saturday was off yesterday) and was very helpful in keeping me informed about what was happening .Once I started working with the salesperson, everything fell into place and I drove out of SF Honda with a newly leased vehicle.

Avoid this Honda Dealership and all Victory owned dealerships! They have made me lose all hope for honda and I will NEVER buy another honda. They are scammers from start to finish from sales to service. It all started when I bought my 2017 accord from them and noticed when I got home my contract was 8000.00 over what it should be, was told by GM and sales rep that it was add-ons and features. I asked them to give me an itemized list which they did not provide, ended up spending countless hours 40+ on phone with honda to finally get the contract re-write done. After that it was OK for a while they had rebuilt my trust somewhat and I wanted to upgrade to a 2018 accord this is where I goes even more south. So I trade in the car, get the 18 and immediately am having major mechanical problems. Biggest issue is after 10,000 my car needs a new set of tires come to find out that my suspension is not correct honda refuses to fix correctly. Just stay away and get a Toyota!

Complete scam, bought a car here 6 months ago, purchased the extended warranty with guarantees from the dealership (Fred) that it could easily cancelled, but Im still waiting for a refund of over $3K.Do not trust or purchase from this Honda location.

The managers, Bill and Chris, are jerks. The difference between dealerships goes beyond the price they offer you or how they treat you when you are there to buy a car. Every car salesman Ive met (Honda, Nissan, Toyota, etc.) appear helpful when you are at the dealership to buy a car. The differentiating factor across them is how they respond when you pick up the phone a couple months down the line and call them for something other than a sale.Unfortunately, SF Honda is your stereotypical dealership that is only after your money and nothing else. No sense of empathy or understanding even after you make your purchase here. Youll waste your time trying to get them on the phone and listen.Bill, in particular, got into an argument with me for asking too many questions. Chris, on the other hand, said he get back to me but never did over the course of 5 weeks. Just look at the reviews these guys respond to--only the ones with high ratings. No attempt to rectify a bad experience with their customers.Thank you for the amazing customer service, Honda. Youve made my car purchase experience turn into a frustrating and angering one.

I went in to get an offer on my 2015 CR-V that Im looking to sell. I called earlier in the day and was given a window to come in and told that they are very interested in used cars (especially SUVs) at the moment and cant keep them in stock because of COVID. I was told to ask for the manager when I arrived.I showed up during the window and was directed to the manager, Jim. He told me to have a seat without informing me of what would happen next. After waiting for 20 minutes and observing almost all of the staff not wearing masks and scrolling Instagram at their desks, Jim asked for the keys to my car and sent Johnny, the used car sales manager to me.A few minutes later, Johnny returned with a complete low-ball offer, rating my car Fair, which has been appraised by two other dealers as in Good condition. He also had the nerve to reduce the appraisal price by an extra $500 because they would have to fix the cosmetic damage (one surface scratch on a door and 2 minor scrapes on the bumper). The condition rating accounts for repairs that would need to be made to the vehicle, so this was a dishonest trick. When I asked him for a justification for the price, instead of offering a legitimate breakdown of why he appraised it $2k below KBB, he told me Q4 was a really bad time to sell a used car. He should tell that to the person who makes phone appointments, who all but begged me to come in.I cant help but think that because I was a woman in a car dealership by myself that I got less than stellar treatment and an unfair and dishonest offer for a car they absolutely wanted to buy.Let the empty We are very sorry to hear this, Mo. This is not how we want our customers to feel when working with us. auto-response to this review that completely lacks action-orientation or sincerity speak for itself. Go somewhere else!There are way more honest dealers out there. Better yet, use Carvana or Shift, who will put this archaic, arbitrary practice out of business.

Perla is amazing !! My sister and brother-in-law came here because they were in the market for a new car, I tagged along cause Im an experienced car shopper haha. I can honestly say BEST car shopping EXPERIENCE ever and it wasnt even for me. The way she inform my sister and brother-in-law about the different payment options available for them; simply...the whole experience was personalized and there was no pressure to buy. In the end my sister did get the vehicle she wanted at a good monthly rate. Definitely recommend SF Honda, ask for Perla !!

I came across San Francisco Honda on Facebook and I was hesitant at first because my husband and I had been to so many dealerships in the past and were made a bunch of empty promises just to get us in the door only to have us walk out without a vehicle and full of disappointment and frustration. Not to mention toting around our three kids who eventually became very impatient. I spoke with Giancarlo Cruz and he literally amazed me. I gave him my terms and conditions and I told him I didn’t want to come in unless we were being handed keys to drive off the lot.When I say he delivered, he delivered! He was with me every step of the way and helped me all from the comforts of my home. Literally in an hr and half I received a phone call saying everything is done and to come complete the paperwork and the car was ours. We were so excited and happy and the look on our kids faces was everything. If you are ever in need of a car they are the guys to get it done.Thank you again Giancarlo! Avoid this place like the plague! These salesmen are dishonest, shady, and incompetent.To begin, when I came down to look into purchasing my car, there was a charge showing up for around $500 that I assumed was one of those “extra charges” that some less-than-reputable dealerships insert to try and skim a little extra money. I asked the manager, Bill Gooden, to explain these charges to me and expressed that I am not willing to pay any additional fees that are not necessary for the sale. He then began to try and guilt trip me by saying that “everyone should do their share” of helping them pay to recycle tires, dispose of oils and various other waste, and so on. At this point, the salesperson I was working with, Josh, interjected and explained that these fees are simply registration. The fact that the SALES MANAGER doesn’t even understand a basic fee that is included in every single sale speaks volumes about the level of competence of the employees at this location.As we proceeded with the sale, I showed Josh and Bill that the car was missing the driver’s side floor mat, and that the rear bumper cover and upper bumper molding were destroyed. I was guaranteed a brand new bumper, molding, and floor mat and was assured that the repairs could be done in one day as I was driving from 3 hours away and couldn’t drop the car off. Deciding to trust the promises of the salesman and the manager Bill, I went ahead with the sale. Can you guess what happened next? I called and called the dealership for over a month asking about when I could drop the car off. I was told repeatedly that they will “call me back” and talk about scheduling. This never happened. After weeks and weeks of calls, unanswered emails, and extreme frustration, I finally got ahold of Bill via email. He explained to me that he would not be replacing the floor mat or the bumper as promised, and that they would attempt to repair the bumper but would need the car for a few days. This was not possible for me, nor was it what we agreed to. During this whole process, Josh repeatedly assured me that the NEW bumper was already ordered as we had previously agreed (see photos below). This was a blatant lie as the shop never intended to actually replace the bumper according to Bill.To make things worse, the shop left the removable splash guard that covers the oil filter loose after they changed the oil. As a result, the thing was smashed beyond all repair before I even made it home, and the dealership refused to replace the part or even answer my inquiries about doing so. Their incompetence cost me money and time yet again!I do not recommend that anyone buy a car from these people, and that if you really feel that you must, make sure that every single thing they say is in writing. They are willing to make up any lie they can to make a sale, and they will refuse to take any accountability for the arrangements they promise throughout the transaction.As one final little note, they also forgot to have me sign the paperwork for the loan. They started repeatedly spam calling me about having me fax over a signature, which I did immediately as I wanted things to be smooth for them since I believed that they were truly going to “take care of me” as Bill promised. I was kind and considerate throughout the whole transaction, and my kindness was rewarded with deceit and disrespect. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP. They have not made good on a single one of their promises as of writing this, and I had to pay out of pocket for the bumper to be repaired since Bill told me that they would not be doing it.

I received a call from Andy asking about my plans for my Honda Civic lease which was coming due in a few months. He invited me into the dealership to talk about it and I said Id only come in physically if they made me an offer I couldnt refuse. Andys manager, Bill, then contacted me and I communicated my ideal terms. A couple of days later, I walked out with a new car/new lease. Both Andy and Bill were extremely helpful, didnt waste my time and were pleasant to deal with. Also appreciated the follow up call from Andy in the days after the sale. I feel that Tommy Jung is flat out the best person and an advisor to work with. He was professional and easy to work with. Everything he said got done. It was not an easy decision to replace automatic transmission on 2001 Honda Accord, so I sought his advice. Now I am so glad I listened to his advice. My car runs perfect! And he gave me a wonderful deal on the transmission including 3 years or 36,000 miles warranty, and also a peace of mind knowing that I have found such a wonderful advisor. I have been taking my car to San Francisco Honda for years and I would not consider taking the car to anywhere else. I highly recommend him!

Setup an appointment, called around and found multiple places that would do the same services for 20-40% cheaper.When I wanted to cancel my appointment there girl said she couldnt find my appointment so she port me on hold and left me on the line for 10 minutes then hung up on me!I had to go back through their automated system and wait all over again just to cancel the appointment.. 15 min of my life Ill never get back.Saver yourself time Amber money by going somewhere else!!

I only had one in-person visit, so four stars for the sales guy who took us for a test drive. He was generally helpful and professional, not pushy at all.Though I didnt purchase a car, just want to make you aware of the location itself. The parking lot is very small, so if you are driving a larger car it may be a tight squeeze to get in. Secondly, being in the city, not much opportunity to really have a quality test drive. Van Ness is all torn up and Hwy 101 was clogged up at the time, so had a very limited chance to see how highway driving was for that particular car. My suggestion is to test drive at another dealer in the suburbs.

This has got to be the worst dealership in the history. I never been so humiliated and mistreated in my entire life...I went in to buy a 2017 Honda Odyssey they had in their certified used inventory. Josh Chan was helping me and let me tell I have never come across such a incompetent and disrespectful person. Josh is a compulsive lier and he will say and do anything to make a sale. After I purchased my certified 2017 Honda Odyssey, I had some issues with missing parts, spare tire, mats, the owners manual were missing and other issues. I was promised my Josh and even the F&I guy Laquan who also sold me all types of warranties and other back end stuff I really didn’t need. I got hold of Rick the sales manager to file a complaint and he didn’t care too much about the situation. Go figure if the sales guys are unprofessional and dishonest it makes complete sense about the entire upper management team being the way the are...this dealership is the prime example why the car sales industry have such bad reputation. This is gonna be my first and last time to ever buy a car from here. Shame on Honda to trust people like this to represent their name.

I started my quest for a Honda Fit in September. You had very few Fits at the time, and I did not want any of the colors on hand. I decided that I wanted an auto in the color Passion Berry Pearl. Of course, that color is relatively rare, but I decided to wait for one of that color to become available. Alison Chow was my sole contact. I worked with her from September - December. She kept me informed as to the situation as things occurred. I told her I would continue to wait until the car I wanted became available. There were not many arriving in California, as far as could be determined. However, one did become available in late December. She quickly let me know that one was located locally, but it was not the EX I had wanted. It was the EX-L. She said it was available if I wanted it. I decided not to wait any longer and I accepted the offer. Alison handled all the details in a professional manner. It was a pleasure dealing with her. This was my second purchase with SF Honda. The first one was a 1991 Honda Civic - 25 years ago. Id be back for a third, but Im 77 years old. Wish me luck. :)

I had a very satisfactory experience at this dealership. I called for an appointment. 15 minutes later my car was with the dealer. The shuttle delivered me to my office and 3 hours later I was informed that my car was ready for pickup. I returned to the dealership, walked in, paid my bill and my car was delivered to me in less than 5 minutes. I also received a complimentary wash.Totally satisfied with the service department. There was only one concern. I called and asked for the service department and was placed on hold. No one ever returned to the telephone. I thought that was a bit annoying. I bought a CRV at this location and I was promised that I can come back after a year for Refinance and guaranteed that they will help me out with that process. A year after I came back and I was approved for a loan through Capital One, but Honda representative said I wasnt when it clearly says i was. I was so upset because they didnt help me out with the process so i left Honda very disappointed..I wouldnt highly recommend to purchase a vehicle here. I would never come back and waste another time..Poor customer service!!

My 2006 Civic hybrid had been having difficulty going up any kind of grade, which in San Francisco can be a real problem. Although the battery was testing at above that which it could be replaced under warranty, Aaron went the extra mile and took it on a test drive with some guys in the back and proved to the Honda rep that it indeed could not go uphill. The IMA battery was replaced at no charge to me. The process was quick, easy, and SF Honda has my unending love and affection.

Extremely efficient service. I called on Saturday, got a Monday appointment, dropped my car off first thing in the morning, and picked it up at the end of the day. Service was completed exactly as needed, complete with car wash. The most compelling part for me was that I brought the car in for maintenance on a recalled part, and I asked if it should get routine maintenance while the car was there. To the credit of the dealership, they did not try to sell me on maintenance, instead reminding me that I should rely on the cars maintenance reminder system to tell me when I needed to bring the car back. A shop that doesnt try to drum up unnecessary business is a shop to which I want to bring my business back. Well done!

I purchased a honda fit from this dealership I was given 6 free oil change at the time of purchase. I had to go there several time, first time I was told by service that bring back when its about 10%. I went back when it was 10% and person told me 5% is better and come either early in morning or close to 5pm and against my better judgment I took my car there one more time.Employee took my car I asked the gentlemen who checked me in that how long it will take to finish and I was told I need to wait 2 to 3 hours. I said this is too much time for an oil change I asked to bring my key and took my car to jiffy lube where it took only 20 min.I will not go back to this honda place ever again.

I don’t even write reviews, but all I can say is this is the worst car dealer I’ve ever experienced. I’ve recently been looking at cars and have gone to many car dealers. When I went there looking for a car, there were about six people doing nothing. No one has a key to a car for us to look at, and another person gave us attitude for wanting to look at a car that was purchased. All we wanted to see was the trunk size. All they can show us was the premium car, and no one was helpful and they made us wait and they were terrible. Additionally, the place was filthy with trash all around.

Terrible experience and unfair customer profiling.I had arrived at the center to know about the lease options for different vehicles and test drive them if possible. I had to wait for 20 minutes to meet the salesperson I was supposed to. After 20 minutes they send someone else to help me out. With him its starting from square one again. He says he requires a bunch of documents to verify my eligibility. I told him that all this could have been sent through email and that I already did some of the process with another salesperson.Later when I was leaving the place disappointed, I eventually meet the salesperson I was supposed to; the experience was worse. He blatantly told me that he did not like wasting time with me because he felt that I would use any quote information to go to another Honda sales center in the city. This was absolutely not true. It was very disrespectful and a total waste of 90 minutes for me.

Came here for a quick oil change today as promised 1 hour turn around with car wash. After when back home wiping dry the car I noticed a dent on my right door. Called my service advisor right away and he asked me to drive the car back for him to see. After he looked at it all he said was the dent was not possible from them. I am pretty sure its from them because i check my car every time when there is other car parked next to my car. First major dent on my new car sad!!! Service manager call and have a guy to come to my office to get the dent fix!
