Mercedes-Benz of SF has the best service so far, better than any other dealer of or near San Francisco. It took us a month to find the right car, we also went to other dealers like bmw of sf which is a few blocks away from sf Benz, but the service we had experienced was not at the same level. We want to thank Michelle Sou, she’s really helpful and kind. As Berkeley students, many dealers treated us like poor kids, I still remember the lady from bmw of sf said that :“ If you r a student with 40K you don’t have a lot of options here”, which ruined our day. On the other hand, Michelle from Benz helped out patiently, we came there twice, and finally my friend bought it today. I’ve been driving Porsche Cayenne for nearly a year and Benz‘s interior still gets my attention, really impressive.

I am super satisfied with my experience and purchase at the SF branch. This was all due to the help of Sheree. She was very knowledgeable and patient. She knew that this was my first time purchasing a car, so she gave me multiple options that fit my daily life routine and explained the aspects of each vehicle. Not only she explained in detail, but she also patiently let me pick the one that fit my needs. She did not put pressure or rush me into buying. Also, I had my dad with me at that time, and he was being very difficult and gave her some hard time, yet Sheree was able to maintain her professionalism and answer all his questions and needs. I would highly recommend Sheree because she is extremely professional, patient, and understands client’s needs.

No one is answering the phones! ordered a part at the beginning of the week and found out today they need the vin number with no confirmation of shipping the part. Just paid 2300 bucks for a new headlight with all components to receive a bad one. Biggest issue here is lack of communication paying premium for bad customer service!

I had a wonderful experience purchasing a car with Fernando. He was the best salesperson I’ve ever met. It was a rainy day in San Francisco, he even held an umbrella over me, while we were walking to the parking lot. He is really professional & efficient. I was disappointed to get greeted with an sales with a bad attitude. When we waited our sales, I tried ask a question to a sales who is there. she glanced at me and didnt answer my question. She ignored me. This sales was wearing a pink mask and was too short and too skinny, her body shape like teenagers. She is Asian for sure. I did not get her name. I am not sure what I can do, but maybe not shop at your dealership again. I was very disappointed with the service that I got. I like your Mercedes Benz but Im not sure if i can patronize your dealership, if that is the service that i can expect in your dealership.

Luis was incredibly helpful and attentive throughout the entire process. Even though I didn’t eventually purchase my van through him, he was kind enough to keep me updated on stock of the vehicle when it did change. Overall a spectacular experience, I will absolutely go to Luis first next time I’m looking for a vehicle.

Terrible customer service. I have been trying to get a hold on them for the last 2 months. No one has been able to help me out. Katrina, the manager hanged up the phone on me and didn’t give me a solution. Never buying from there again. Do yourself a favor and don’t go there. They ca be super nice when they are trying to sell you a car, but the service afterwards is terrible.

Terrible customer service and consideration . We broke down in San Francisco airport and spent the next three hours on the phone with roadside assistance which was no help, after which it took them a full day to tow our car to the dealer. (They couldn’t find a towing company so I called one )Since it was sat night we could not get a loaner until Monday when dealer open. Not once did they say get a rental and we will reimburse. After hundreds of dollars of cab rides to the dealer and airport day 3 our car still not running and they have no clue.They said we could NOT take the loaner to our next destination. (As Henry explained “that’s a hard no!) Again no offer of rental or reimbursement. The snarky employee ( Henry!! Remember that name folks condescending and snarky) of MB said on day 4 “you can get a rental but I have no idea how much Mercedes reimburses, you can’t get a mazarati.” Duh uh Well if you don’t know who does. They attempted to get us a rental but according to Henry “the rental car company wasn’t answering their phone” So in under 2 minutes I had a rental online through my phone.Then they suggested if we had the other key fob it may help so we had it overnighted to them and since have not heard a word. That was wed it’s now Thursday and on we go with our own paid for rental to complete our trip. They are clueless as to how to get reimbursed if we get reimbursed at all.We have no info on the status of our stranded vehicle as we head home to San Antonio. Was quite tempted to sell them our car back and buy a different brand.Do yourself a favor if you must have a Mercedes buy other company roadside assistance!

I went to this dealership last week. The sale named Sheree is really helpful. I have high demand on cars and limited budget, yet she patiently recommended several cars that meets my expectations and went over the price for financing a new car and leasing a new car. She never put a pressure on me to buy the car; she is amicable, always keep smiling and talking to us while waiting for my credit report and all the paper work. Always says farewell while we are leaving.

Highly recommend going somewhere else for a trade in.Lauren from this dealership just called to tell me that my 2020 GLB 250 4matic is only worth $28,000 on trade. Let’s not forget the fact that car cost over $44,000 before tax or the fact that it only has $1,300 miles on it. Practically a new car....I almost laughed at the offer and I understand the game they are playing. A car this new and with barely any miles on it. The dealership can have it back on the lot for sale before the end of the day and probably have it listed for close to forty thousand.What Lauren didn’t realize when she called is. That I was already at a nearby BMW dealer getting a quote on trade. Which I now have. The BMW dealer offered me $36,500 if was to buy the New BMW X3 m40i that I’m interested in. Almost a nine thousand dollar difference!!!Obviously the bmw dealer isn’t screwing around or screwing over it’s potential customers. Lauren offered to price match another dealers offer if I brought something in writing... seriously, most dealers won’t give you a written offer or honor if you leave.

I told him my budget and the things I wanted and he was able to provide me with multiple options and really explained the aspects of each vehicle. Say what you will of German and Mercedes engineering, where this company truly shines is in their customer service. (And F1 team, GO HAMILTON!) My girlfriend and I experienced one of the greatest auto towing nightmares of our lives. We originally attempted to get assistance from AAA to remove our car from a treacherous inclined paralleled park situation. We went through 6 tow truck drivers telling us they were incapable of pulling our car, numerous cancelations and nearly 8 HOURS of waiting. Technically 24, because we didnt want to pay for a storage fee from the tow company. (sue me, [storage is free with Mercedes FYI]) So, after not eating for almost a full 8-12 hours and dealing with surly, excuse ridden tow truck drivers, I finally thought, screw it Im gonna call Mercedes road side assistance. Their company Urgently was the best. Jennifer was a real human being and helped us get in contact with TNA Towing at 701 Paris St. in SF, to tow our car. David Gonzalez and Carlos Robleto literally sweat and blead (he got his shin smashed by my car and his truck) to get my car on their truck. They physically PUSHED my car out from in between two cars to get my car on their flatbed. (Which the AAA drivers said they couldnt remove my car without a dolly truck, BLOCKHEADS) But, the best part was Lauren Bradbury (a sales rep of a meager 25 years) stayed late, PAST CLOSING to make sure my car was received and stored properly. This woman deserves a FAT bonus, because she went above and beyond her line of duty as a sales rep. She assured me that she would handle any issues that came of our situation. Calling me and the tow company, convincing her service department to accept our vehicle, DESPITE THEM AND ALL AUTO REPAIR SHOPS ON THE PENINSULA BEING CLOSED. I was raised Catholic, but currently am an Athiest. However, I might start going back to church because Ms. Lauren Bradbury just might be the mother of Christ and the miracles she helped perform. Thank you guys so much!

This was of the best experiences from a car dealership by far. We drove all the way from the central valley to purchase our car.Katrina was so attentive from the time we called to inquire about the car to the moment we drove off.Allen went beyond and made sure to get us a good deal. Everyone at this dealership was amazing. I ran late for my appointment and the sales rep I was supposed to work with was also running over on his previous appointment so he came and greeted me and the sales manager spoke with me while they found another rep. I ended up working with Luis and he was fantastic. He listened and asked great questions and helped find the perfect car at the price I wanted. Id shopped around and already had test drives at other dealerships but as a young woman wasnt taken seriously, but not at the SF dealership. They were incredibly respectful and helpful and I really felt comfortable and confident that I was in great hands. Don’t take your car in to be serviced by this San Fran franchise. Took my Mercedes for a service a week in advance and confirmed service on the prior day. Dropped the car off first thing in the morning, yet the car sat untouched until mid afternoon when the service agent finally told me they were too busy to service the car. I picked up the car at 4pm with nothing done and had the service done elsewhere the following day. Basically, they don’t want your business.

My experience here was absolutely without complaint. I was looking for an older Mercedes SUV in good condition, but not flawless. It was for a parent who is not a brilliant driver and would inevitably be bumping into a variety of small obstacles while weaving through the redwood forest roads. For a dealership accustomed at a $150k price point, a shopper budgeting at 10% of that is not something that would get the sales staff jostling each other around to be first in line.And in the end, I found exactly what I was seeking.. Better even. And at about half the cost of my already stingily-low target.Many things impressed me. The car I bought, sold new in 2010 at the dealership and came traded in by that original who drove it less than 10k/year.. Normally a higher end dealership would have sent this car to auction . The staff at Mercedes San Francisco recognized it’s different kind of worth .., knew it would be right for someone like me. They thought about their customers actual needs as important in addition to bottom line profit. They didn’t make needless cosmetic improvements to justify a greater price. They use a set price and let it stand without pressure. Not once did the sales staff make even a single attempt to nudge me to a bigger sticker price.. OK, well, when they got an idea of my budget maybe quietly abandoned any dreams of upsell. But I honestly don’t think that was the case. I unthinkingly arrived driving my Porsche, so they had a strong whiff of weak financial resolve.By way of comparison; a Mercedes dealership in the San Jose area marketed set pricing. Their process allowed reservation of a vehicle via web. A chosen car was withheld from sale until you viewed it and said yes/no at the advertised price. was held back from sale So even before I reached the dealer, the my reserved price had increased $1,400 and while I was asking about that, the vehicle vanished from inventory.MBZ SF did two more things that impressed me. Their policy was not to except personal checks It was Friday night after 5 PM. The trip to the dealer for me is about 45 minutes one-way. They bent the policy and agreed to a personal check for the full price.But then the most remarkable thing of all happened. As I was going through the endless documents and papers that surround buying a car, there was one that I found unusual. It was the results of their mechanics inspection when they took the car in on trade. In the inspection there was a notation there may be a small oil leak. This stopped me because oil leak can be very difficult and expensive to correct and I don’t like leaky cars. So, I balked. They contacted one of the managerial staff on duty And I expressed my concerns. After a moment he said, “take it with you for the weekendd see if it leaks oil or makes you unhappy in anyway if it does bring it back to us next week you can tear up your check and no problems”. And even though there was no oil leak, he accessed the entire service history of the vehicle for me ... then recommended excellent independent repair shop close to home.Based on everything I saw, I don’t see how you could go wrongz

Long story short: We drove into SF to see a GLK we liked. They wouldnt come down on the price at all. But we went forward anyway. Since we couldnt complete the deal in time to pick up the kids they said they would drive it to us the next day with the paperwork. So we cancelled our plans as busy parents and professionals for this occasion. The car showed up with a huge scratch that was not there the day before. The salesman was apologetic. I said we require a new bumper or the deal is off...it was that bad. He called the manager and he said he would send it to the bodyshop and it will like good as new. I said fine but it would be fair if you shaved a tiny bit off the price for the inconvenience (his name is Sebastian). He said no because they have to pay for the bodyshop work. Does that make sense? Someone at the dealership messed this car up and he is making us feel like its our fault and wont compromise. Keep in mind they have all of our money. So we told the salesman we were not happy with this manager and said well wait and see the car after its been worked on. Well, more than a week passed and we had to call and ask about our money being wired back, and we had to ask when the car was ready to be shown. The salesman said that the car was ready more than a week later and that the manager agreed to sell the car at the original price agreed upon at the beginning because he raised the price to the general public (so we should be grateful?) The salesman (Wellesley) was doing the best he could under the circumstances and we dont have a problem with him. It was Sebastian who was the problem. We chose Mercedez because we thought we would be treated with class and get quality service. The opposite occurred. Sebastian made us feel like we were dealing with some shady used car dealership that was constantly trying to avoid us and put one over on us. Also, I tried to find the owner of this dealership and they are nowhere to be found. And the general manager is listed on their site but her email is incorrect. That is why I am writing this review here.Update: The owner replied to this review below and was clearly given the, We did the best we could spiel from the manager, which is total bs. Ive been buying cars for decades and frankly this sort of smoke and mirrors is nothing new. Youd think they would try to actually fix things at dealerships in this modern era of Carvana and Vroom but they continue with their old school methods.

Do not buy from them! Shady dealings - completely unresponsive after the sale. There is a reason there are so many 1 star reviews!We made the mistake of buying a Certified Pre-Owned - which on the surface would seem like its well maintained? They hid the fact that the car was 4 months overdue for its 3 year service - they dumped it on us without taking care of the service. They never responded after multiple attempts to inquire if it was actually done properly - but omitted from being entered into the service history - or if they would be honest and make it right. No reply. Not even an acknowledgement.After weeks of continued attempts at trying, we finally got someone on the phone and they fabricated a story about how service records dont show up on CarFax or other online service history resources - and that they would send us copies of the receipt of the maintenance that was performed. On top of the outright lie - of course they never followed up - because the records dont exist (if they did, they would show up already in the system and online). How MB-SF can even be allowed to be a MB dealer is inconceivable. They are the antithesis of a top quality motor car dealer.

I bought a low priced non mercedes someone traded in at MBSF, and I felt treated as if I was buying one of their top of the line models. From my initial call with Paulo, who immediately and accurately gave me a total out the door cost, to his thorough test drive the next day, to quickly executed paperwork, to a complementary Lyft ride to help me get both my old and new vehicles home, the process was smooth. This was an unexpectedly pleasant experience overall . The next day I received both an email and call to see that all was well. I would highly recommend MBSF for a Mercedes purchase. Very professional and courteous even with the sale of a non priority car.

I purchased a CPO MB E300 from this dealership. I also purchased extended limited warranty. I decided to cancel my extended limited warranty in July 31st and filled required forms. It is now Jan 19th and I did not get my refund yet.Getting curious, I called the dealership and it seems they did not process my cancellation request till January 6th.I crossed the option to work with the MB of San Francisco Service Department due to poor customer service they provided when they have to honor the promises they made while I am purchasing the car.Unfortunately, it seems Finance Department is not in better shape.Find another dealership to work if you want to buy a Benz. MB of San Francisco will make you regret to work with them even if you buy the right car for a better price in the long run.

And then we RECEIVED A VERY UNRESPECTFUL EMAIL from MIKE BULLER questioning us why we did not buy from them with a very UNFRIENDLY TONE!! EXCUSE ME! Do we HAVE to buy from you once we had a test drive??! Can you respect your customer with your language??! I just cannot believe this!! Mike BULLER, I will give 0 star if I can, because YOU ARE NOT qualify for being a good dealer. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT sales and basic respect!! Shame on you!!

I went in because i had a rattling sound coming from my cars dashboard (e300). The car is still under factory warranty. The service people couldn’t get it fixed and i still hear those sounds in the car while driving without music. The people are too busy to listen to a customer and are running here and there like they have all the other things to take care of but not the customer.You cannot get a car fixed in one go, you have to plan to rent a tent and stay in the city if you get service from them.They had paint spilled on the bumper of the car when it was with them and they talk to you like its the customer’s faultHave to go in again to get it fixed, if someone buys a Mercedes, he expects quality. But this dealership is not a good one for service

Wrecked my car...First, I’ll just say that Mercedes is an excellent product. I’ve never had an issues with my car and feel it was engineered by the best.Unfortunately, I feel this dealership does not represent the Mercedes Brand well.I took my car in for service and get a call saying that they had an accident with my car. Well actually, a “vendor” crashed into my car, is what they continued to mention. They said, “if it had been us, we would have just fixed it ourselves.” Instead, they sent it to an outside shop that they chose on their own and wanted to just use the vendor’s insurance. I was worried that the car was now devalued since it would probably be reported. I had to then ask about making sure the car wasn’t reported as repair shops and insurance usually report it. The dealer didn’t even think about this when it happened.The manager “worked with their insurance” to make sure it wasn’t reported (supposedly).Taking zero accountability for what happened, it took a month to get the bumper replaced with very little information about the event. I had to negotiate with the manager just to get a measly couple hundred bucks off my service and there was no admission to guilt or a real apology for crashing my car. “It was the vendor”.Your car is probably not safe at this dealer so I’d advise using a different one for any service. More importantly, this is how they treat their customers.

The best luxury car service I have experienced in the Bay Area! Before my Mercedes I have had a few Audis and a BMW serviced at various dealerships around the Bay Area, and I can say that the Mercedes service at MB SF is much better than the other two. I go to the 8th Street location and Alessandra has been my service advisor - she has been ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC to work with - if I could give more than 5 stars, I would! Their technology is great, from the booking to the during-service-communication, to the e-invoice checkout (I can review+pay the invoice/service summary on my phone while in the Lyft back to the dealer). I cant recommend them enough.

Bought a 2020 GLC-300 from this dealership. Everything was super easy / streamliend:- schedule a test drive (all COVID prevention procedures in place)- all the sales folks are helpful and polite (Andy / Omar)- they had some very competitive deals happening. We didnt have to haggle and penny pinch to get the deals we wanted- the buying procedure was very simple and painless- the sales people are very knoledgeable about the vehicles and was able to do a walkthrough when we drove the car away- they had a great selection of vehicles - ultimately it was better than what weve found online / on carmax. we spent time shopping at a lot of other dealers and ultimately chose this one.- anyway. we were happy with our buying experience and what we bought.

The only dealer that IGNORED me the moment I asked about pricing.I submitted a form to request about the pricing of a particular car. ALAN CHEUNG emailed me and provided the MSRP, which is the same as the website. So I asked Alan if the price is negotiable. No further respond from Alan. Basically, he just ignored me.It is COMMON for customer to ask about car pricing from the dealer website, especially given the COVID-19 pandemic. It is NOT recommended to visit a dealer and spend a long time during the pandemic.PS: I just noticed that this dealer have low review ratings and NEVER responded to those reviews. Look at other Mercedes dealers and many actually responded to the low review and offered a way to contact them to rectify the problem.

This place is horrible! They dodge your phone call when they owe you service. The receptionist told us to relax when we called for the sales manager (named Irsan) for the third time. The manager owed us a call last week but did not call me, email me back, or replied to my texts. Its been over 4 weeks now that they would replace the parts that are missing. When we purchased our car, they could not find our second car key and had a button missing in the trunk that they were trying to replace. But now after 4 weeks of waiting on those parts to arrive, their solution is to not pick up their phone. I do not trust the sales department here at all! Worst car buying experience. I should have gone to a different Mercedes-Benz dealer. Very disappointed and angry.

It is both convenient and inconvenient to bring my car here for service. For starter, they dont allow people to leave their car overnight, which makes sense given that its in SF with limited space. Second, often time they run out of the loaner car. However since I live in downtown and its 1 mile away from my place, I can easily uber home. But if u work full time on weekdays, this location might be tough to bring your car in for service as they close on weekend too.

This was the best car buying experience I have ever had. Our initial email inquiry was returned promptly by Brandon Chang with all the information we requested. He had a car of us with all our requested options within 24 hours, including one option that we thought we would need to purchase. Great place, great people. I personally worked with Ricardo, Joel and Dody. Three of them were very knowledgeable and did everything needed to be done to help me finding the right vehicle for myself. I had only 2 hours to do the driving, decide on the car and get the paperwork done. I did mentioned this to Joel, he did communicate my request with the team and they were able to get me out with the new vehicle in 2 hours as Joel promised. I recently purchased a ‘99 c43 AMG that I’m really excited about. Yeah I could order parts online, but I thought it would be cool to talk with a professional in person.From the moment I pulled into the parking lot I was met with a hostile, “what do you want” attitude from the attendants there, until I explained that I had called ahead and was looking to buy some oem parts. I was told over the phone a parts dept. associate could do a walk around and help me generate a list of a couple things I wanted to replace, turn signals or whole light assembly, maybe a new grille, etc.But after I parked, an employee said he couldn’t help me (I also asked about getting new keys, and the same guy said, “well they’re $350”, like, immediately) and that I had to wait a couple minutes for another person to come off break, understandable. But after about 15 minutes of someone else coming into the room, no one paid any notice. I got up and looked around, and no one cared. So I just walked out.I really just felt like I was treated like a jerk. I get that they usually cater to a high-class clientele, it’s a Mercedes dealership within San Francisco, but that was a terrible experience.

Had the worst sales experience today. The sales lady said there was another customer who was test driving the car and meanwhile started taking down all my information on the computer. I didn’t mind cause I was really interested in the car. Then she asked me to sign the papers and I asked why, I was told if I wanted the car I had to sign without looking inside or test driving the car, since the other customer was interested too. Super shady. I wouldn’t recommend this joint to anyone else.

Ali was our consultant. While we had an appointment with someone else they were not available but he stepped up without hesitation to make sure we were taken care of even though it was in the smart car department and not his. He worked with me all day finding out everything I could want and answering alllllll my questions. About each and every car I was looking at I made for a long day and he was never anything but professional and gave great service and I was NOT an easy customer and he was outstanding and very very understanding. Honest and I trust him as well as experienced.Most impressive was he stepped up to correct an issue that was not his fault with no questions asked and never tried to push anything off on someone else.Ali is great and I will recommend him to anyone!

I was looking to lease my new Mercedes. I started my search online by asking Mercedes dealerships for the best deal on the car I was interested in. I got a good offer from Mercedes dealership in Peninsula and shared this offer with Mercedes dealership in SF. Mercedes dealership in SF proposed in writing that they give me same price with same terms on the car with higher MSRP. I thought that I should take advantage of this offer as SF dealership essentially offered me a better deal by giving me same price and terms on more expensive car. When I showed up at the SF dealership the offer was no longer the same that we agreed on in the emails. They lied about the offer so I walked away because I don’t do business like this. They are dishonest people and I will never come back to this dealership again. I worked with Ricardo Dias who is Manager of Internet sales.
