Greta response time and costumer Service, Trevor and Jose R did a great job.

This place is terrible. I contacted them because they had left their contact information on the door that I needed a new lock for. I figured if they installed the original door theyd know what needed to be done to fix it! I explained this to the person I spoke to when I made the call.Guy came out to replace the lock and told me he didnt have the part and would be charging for labor to go get it!!! Came back AN HOUR later! Took three hours to replace the lock. Then told me I had to get a new rod. Held me hostage while we waited another 30 minutes for another guy to drop off the part as he didnt have that either! Missed two business appointments because it took over four hours for this malarkey. Turns out I can only lock the door from the outside!!! Now I have to get someone else to fix the problem. What a complete waste of time. Oh and the guaranteed same day service they boast about on their website? A crock. I called on a Thursday at 7 am and got a voicemail l from their office at 2 pm saying obviously we are not coming today, but well be by tomorrow.Definitely do not call these clowns!!!Update: Kurt the service manager gave me a call after I posted this and decided that there would be no charge for the job, which was nice as it cost me $130 in missed business and I still have to get someone out here to replace the lock that doesnt work from the inside. What really offended me was he kept saying that I should feel really good about getting free service and parts from them, heavily insinuating that I was trying to get something for nothing.I would be happy to pay for the job if they had actually fixed the lock so I could lock the door from the inside as well as the outside! I would also not mind paying for some service time, although I dont feel that four hours is a reasonable amount of time to only partially fix a lock and install a rod on a door.Gonna give Busy Bees a try now. They have some great reviews on yelp, unlike this company.P.S. No one called me at 9.30 am to reschedule. The only call I got was a voicemail at 2.30 saying they obviously couldnt make it. And I thought the service was 24 hour? Why would coming after 4 pm be a problem if that was the case? Anyways, glad to be done with this drama.

This place is awful! They charge an outrageous amount of money for an estimate and they dont even diagnose the doors properly. I had another company come out to inspect my doors and I showed them Vortexs estimate. The other company told me Vortex lied to me! The other company fixed my door properly and it had nothing to do with the proposed repairs Vortex said. Stay far away from these payasos!

Total waste of money. They show up late, cant even fix doors. Terrible workmanship and you pay double what real door shops will charge. I have been in commercial construction for 25 years. This company is a rip off! The service technicians are not trained well, have bad attitudes and look high on drugs. Go elsewhere and get better service. Try Overhead Doors.AVOID VORTEX DOORS!!!

Called Vortex on Monday and they said they would be here on Wednesday to look at our front door, diagnose the problem, and provide us with an estimate. Not only did they not give any kind of time frame for their arrival, they actually never showed up! I should have called another company, to begin with, after I read the Google reviews. The bad reviews for this place are spot on, and I suggest you dont bother with this company...call someone else!

This place is a joke. They came out to give me an estimate which was twice as much as my 2 other estimates. Then I got an invoice for $386 four weeks later for my Roll Up Door estimate. WTH!!!!
