Its rare that I give anything a five star rating. But I appreciate honesty. The staff here have told me everything that is expected, and I got my mail with no problems. Im usually in and out in a few minutes as should be. This is a good place.

This place might as well just be a drop box -- if you are dropping off a package, they are really great at scanning things in. For anything else, go somewhere else. They never answer their phone. Manager never returned my direct calls or emails. They write your credit card information in a binder with a pencil. Their policies change depending on who is working the front desk. Nice people when it comes to simple stuff. Absolutely directionless when I need actual assistance.

It’s the worst customer service I’ve ever received from an UPS location. If I could give zero stars I would, as I feel this place has left a very bitter experience that will be hard to forget and not for good reasons. The attendant (didn’t see her name, short brown hair, fair skinned) but she was rude, unprofessional and veery condescending. She blatantly told me she could not print a label for my package unless I paid a fee, which is fine but had never been an issue in the past to have it done for free, but instead of being nice about the situation she insisted she had already told me about this when in fact she had not. She went on to insist she had talked to me and told me this even though I had assured her it hadn’t been me. Even though I admit I had talked to her one time before, she had only told me taping that of package should be done beforehand, but did not mention anything about the printing as the time she had helped me I had brought my own pre printed label. Again I really can’t emphasize how poor of customer service this lady gave me and really hope she doesn’t act this way with all the other customers. If I were the owner of this establishment I would make sure to provide the necessary feedback to ensure this doesn’t keep happening in the future, and let her know this is unacceptable to do.. All I know I won’t ever be coming back to this place as long as this lady is still there. Sad to say but it was that bad of an experience.

I visited the store around 1:30 on a Tuesday. There was available parking right out front, which was pleasantly surprising. There was no wait inside, which was also a nice surprise, considering I was in a hurry. As soon as I walked in the door, I was greeted by an employee (didnt get her name). I was there to ship a package and Nick had me in and out of the store in minutes. I was very pleased with his customer service and sense of urgency. Ill definitely be coming back to this location!

WORST customer service. We mailed a package from this location that was damaged in transit. In order for UPS to honor the insurance claim, they need this store to fill out the necessary paperwork. Ive called MULTIPLE times, left multiple messages, and cant get the owner on the phone (the only one who can fill out the paperwork apparently). So now we have damaged artwork and UPS will not pay the insurance claim all because of the laziness of the store owner. Do not ship here, they will take your money and provide ZERO customer service.

The shipping fees are very reasonable and often less than what other shipping services offer. The customer service is always good for the location on 200 S in Salt Lake, and far better than any other option when it comes to returning items to Amazon.

The manager that was onsite (a blonde lady with a pony tail), was incredibly rude and dismissive.I had to make a return for a defective product and I was supposed to go to the UPS store and mail the package there.I made a mistake by going to the wrong place and was actually supposed to go to the USPS store.As soon as the manager figured this out she still tried to sell me the mailer I was using anyways. I told her that I was incredibly stressed out and needed help, but none was offered.I then asked her for help attaching my shipping label and she said, “I can’t help you do that because we actually lose money on anything that goes through USPS.”When I asked her why she was being so rude, she gave me attitude and she again said that she wasn’t going to help me do something that her company loses money on.Not only was this poor service, but it’s the complete opposite of the way that sales and customer service are trained to do their job.When we go to a business we expect them to be the solution to our problems, not the problems themselves.

Getting extremely frustrated with the owners of this store. I submitted a claim for a lost package that was shipped on 1/7/21. It has been nearly 2 months and they have done nothing to move this claim forward.You are better off buying a label from UPS and dropping it off at another store. This store is a franchise and instead of UPS supporting the claims process, it relies on the franchise ownership. Every time I call UPS customer support they say there is nothing they can do until the franchise owners do their part. I have called nearly weekly and have gotten an answer once but was quickly dismissed. Very disappointed.

The store owner is a liar and my relative was correct in her review. The store owner stole from me and I am filing a small claims court case against her. All you do is have to google to confirm the rates (she charges $75 for 3 months while everyone else $75 for the year). Look at the other reviews to see how consistently dishonest the owner is.

Please utilize any other store or company besides this store because the owner is beyond corrupt. We went today to cancel mailbox service because she was charging 3 times the rate as USPS to a 66 year old woman. When we had to renew for a month we were told by an employee that they only did 3 month renewals and the owner refused to refund for the January and February service even though it was the first part of December. Additionally, the owner wouldn’t give us confirmation that she canceled the box nor give us the terms. We had to contact UPS corporate to get the issue addressed appropriately. Go elsewhere because the owner is dishonest and frankly charging ridiculous rates as compared to her competitors.

I went to this UPS today to pick up a package that had been delivered there. I was the only person in the entire store, well more than 50 away from anyone. I do not wear a mask for medical reasons. The young guy behind the register said I had to have a mask to receive my package. I told him I dont wear a mask for medical reasons and he had no right to ask what my medical reason was when he questioned me. I told him per the ADA hes not allowed. He refused to state what the hours of operation were for non mask wearers as they cant discriminate, then he then WALKED AWAY without giving me my package. I will be reporting this store to the state government and also the ADA for discrimination, denying service, and trying to enforce a mask policy to those medically unable to wear a mask.

Mac and Jared was super cool guys. They were very professional and extremely friendly. I just drove back from Vegas and I’m super tired, so it was hard for me to understand some of the paperwork. But those two guys were very patient with me, and help me out. If I owned a business I would definitely still those two guys and hire them to run my store. I give them 10 stars.

Edit: Now the package that they claimed to have Returned to sender is officially missing. Thanks. Time to file for potential identity fraud.Dont bother coming here to ship anything. The man behind the desk was rude, was short and quick on words and wouldnt let me double check the delivery address. I told him I needed to ship documents and he just waved over to the packaging supplies and pack it up-- wait, I thought I was supposed to be told my shipping options first, because, depending on which service you pick, the envelope is, yknow, INCLUDED in the postage fee. Why I would waltz into a courier store when USPS is a block away and post anything via slow-mail is beyond me. Long story short, now my legal documents are set to Return to Shipper Requested status.If youre that scared of an immuno-compromised, mask-donning Asian stepping into your store, then dont come into work. Shut it down. Im only saying this because another white, non-masked woman was assisted by who seemed to be the store manager/lead woman and was never asked to stand 6 feet away while trying to make a delivery while I had to swipe my damn credit card at arms length. Very cool, very legal, and very fair. /s

Shipped my AirPods to my brother in Ohio and they lost the package. I put $200 liability on the shipment. It’s been 2 months of them “investigating” whatever that means. They have not gotten back to me at all about it. No emails, no calls. If you want your packages stolen or lost and then shoulders shrugged on the whereabouts of your package use UPS.UPDATE: The manager of this UPS franchise really turned everything around and made the situation better. Kudos to her! I now understand that it was the corporate end of UPS that seemed adamant and slow at refunding me for losing my package. Instead this franchise refunded me themselves and is seeking funds from the corporate side. Thank you.

Awesome service at the UPS store on 200 South in downtown SLC. David helped me decide on a box size also giving me the different prices of shipping, etc to help me make my decision easier. David also cut the box down to make my contents snug in the box for shipping. I highly recommend them.

When I saw 2.7 on the reviews I thought how in the world could have UPS office do so bad. Well when you email them something on Thursday to pick up on Monday and the email is never even been read then the employee tells you Ill get to it no worries itll be done sometime today. You get two stars. I should have added that I have prints made at least twice a month all over the US. I am a instructor and teach classes and get my materials printed normally at FedEx. I thought I would try UPS because of the price difference and yes they are cheaper, thats not what you need to be careful of, its the employees that really just dont seem to care.The reply to my review indicated they did not receive my email, this is not the case. The employee stated that most employees dont remember to check the email but he does and had been off. The office should make it a policy to check and respond to emails at least twice per day. That would have solved me making multiple trips for something that should have been ready. I never have this trouble with FedEx. My prints are always ready for pickup as requested in my emails. Moved rating to one star for blaming customer.

Got there about 6.45 today, they close at 7. Clerk (male) quoted me a price but didn’t weigh the items to be shipped, so when it was all done, it was almost $2 more. Then had to argue with clerk (female) about the size of box and type of packing because they really really wanted to upsell me with a bigger box that was not necessary. Then male clerk wasn’t going to actually pack it until the next day because it was now 6.55 and they were closing at 7. I said I would feel much more comfortable if I could see it packed, especially since they insisted I needed a “full pack” so that my souvenir jars of honey wouldn’t break. After having to argue about them packing it before I left, they let 3 more customers in to do shipping orders ( not just drop offs or pick ups). And to top it off, male clerk was slow as molasses, terrible at communicating (ex. Just stared at me waiting for the street address, but never actually said “ I need your street address”). Oh and then after trying to upsell me on packaging, male clerk just grabbed all the jars, clinking them in his hands to take them in the back where I wouldn’t have been able to see them get packed. So - here I am at 7.12 waiting still for the box to get packed. Should have been simple, should have been quick, should not have had to deal with an employee that was completely out of his depth. Do not waste your time and if you do, if you are being helped by a young male employee whose name starts with a P, just run out of there.

I had a package that they tried to deliver at my apartment but I was not at home, so the driver left it in the UPS Store. I went to the place with my wife and I had my ID with my name on it and the paper that the driver left on my door and the girl said that it was not enough to get my package. She wanted us to prove the we lived in that address. Obviously not everyone carries a piece of mail with your name so she made us to come back home to get it. I was not on a good mood that day but I tried my best to not tell her off. I came back home, got a letter with my name and address together and came back to the store.

Be advised, only certain minorities are treated certainly. Had package in hand with the UPS Return Label displayed on my tablet and assumed that the girl behind the counter would take it, scan it, print up a sticker, slap it on my box and be done with it. Nope, not for you sir. You need to use the computer, slide a credit card which will charge you $2 to access the internet so you can search and download the Return Label I had in my hand. And then pay $0.10 for each page. No sir, Im going USPS!

Jamie and her staff at the Salt Palce UPS went above and beyond my their job description would Intel. I lost my iPhone Im not real text savvy and they jumped in to help me by getting me on find my iPhone app they stayed with me and help me track it down. This was approximately an hours worth of extra work they did not have to put in. I am so appreciative when Im back in the Salt Lake City I will definitely utilize the services this UPS store has, even if it means going out of my way a little bit. Would give 0 stars if I could. Some packages arrive, others dont, in spite of having the same shipping addresses. Paid for 2 day air shipping for a package with live animals, and it showed up after 5 days with the animals dead. Had multiple calls in between that time frame to find out what the heck happened to the package. Still waiting for them to return the dead animals to the sender and get my money back. Terrible experience. Incompetent employees. Save your money and avoid the headache.

I dont know what it is about this location in particular but almost the entire staff is needlessly curt and antagonistic. One gentleman in particular is very bothered to be asked for help with simple tasks like where is a pen? (so I can sign this document you slapped on the counter in front of me) dude, Im just here to mail some stuff I impulsively bought online, not clock in and help myself. So far all of my items have made it to their destination, so thats good i guess. I tried to email ups directly but kept going in circles so here I am!

Staff is nice but out of date facility. One old computer someone was printing who knows what for 15+ minutes. No printer I could print a single label with from my phone. Also a label cost $2 just to print? I would have gone to fedex but I didn’t realize my labels had to be for ups. Also no air in the shop so i’m sweating while I wait to use this computer.

The tracking number that they gave me did not work, which the UPS store that I shipped the package to was able to confirm. Speaking of which, they failed to tell me that there is a pickup fee when shipping a package to a UPS store. This ended up being an unpleasant surprise when I picked the package up and I would have chosen differently if I had known.

Disclaimer: this is not a review of this particular store. The one star is for the UPS store I generally use and never had issues with. The low rating is because there is not a single UPS drop box in downtown slc that you can use after hours. Isnt that the whole point of having drop boxes?!

The young girl that helped me here was patient and helpful---very. I was highly upset because I found out (after) that I could have saved $15.00 sending it USPS; the online estimates had been skewed---and yes, I had measured fine and deliberately added a few inches and pounds to each dimension for no surprises. That was not the girls fault, though; she did her best to save me money. My son says UPS inflates its prices for holidays. It MUST be true bc I sent HUNDREDS of dollars 8 weeks before moving to Utah and was able to send 30 POUNDS of stuff--same size box (!!!) for the same price as this 6 pound box!! (USPS probably). USPSs price online showed substantially higher than UPS, same exact dimensions. When I called--THEN after an hour on hold I found out too late it wouldve been $15 less. This UPS store is nice and efficient, but UPS in general lost me as a customer--esp. near a holiday. :-((

We were expecting our Hamilton tickets to arrive by the day before the show, but we ended up spending half of the day of the show tracking down our lost package. For unknown reasons, our package was held in Salt Lake City for 3 days, then finally out for delivery yet didnt make it to us that day - for clarification, we live in the Salt Lake area! After hours of investigating, we found the package processing at a facility, well past the showtime. We are so disappointed with UPS not offering any resolution for their failure to fulfill their guarantees and the inconvenience and emotional stress that this has caused us. We simply do not understand how a package that was sent on Next Day Air on April 27th (website confirms the package was already in SLC on this day) couldnt be delivered by May 1st. Like many people, we worked very hard and tried for a long time to get tickets to the Broadway show, and missing the experience because UPS lost our package is so upsetting.

I gave him the spelling name. He typed it wrong himself, then he was angry at me. Came to this location 3 weeks ago at closing. Was told by manager (dark hair and tattoos) that my package was too complicated to complete that day. I dont Get off work until right before closing. When I told him this he told me to find another store to go to because he did not get paid enough for caring. I went To other ups store and they helped me very friendly.
