Nicest folks you’ll ever meet in a bike shop. Went in Friday looking at used cycling shoes & a lovely guy talked me through a lot & then sold me a badass set of pedals that were cheaper than shoes & solved my issues just as well! Didn’t have my bike with me so I brought back in yesterday & they installed the pedals in like 3 minutes & didn’t charge me anything. They work with you to find solutions that fit your financial situation. They truly just want everyone to be able to ride bikes! I love them!

I chose to do business here because they refurbish donated bikes so people looking for transportation can afford them.I was looking for a used bike but one that was recently worked on so it was fully functioning. When I walked in, I was really listened to and a great bike was shown to me. I wanted to think on it over night which was no problem. They put a hold on it for me.I did pick up the bike the next day along with those extras needed to make my ride safe...helmet, lights, a place to carry my water bottle. They checked my bike one last time and assembled the lights and water bottle holder for me.This is an awesome business with a community service mission. The two gentlemen who helped me were so kind and helpful. Though they did sell me things, it was more of an advising session. I was actually to I didnt need things. It was my pleasure to buy my bike from them.

Great store with great prices. The staff is very friendly and helpful and there is alot of merchandise in the store. I love the voile tree program they have. The reason for the last star missing is the store is a little unorganized. There really is no rhyme or reason on the layout of merchandise.

I needed a bike to be able to travel to my new job where the start time is before the busses run and they helped me out with a bike when I didn’t have the funds for a new bike. They gave me a lock and lights and a water bottle to go with it. They made sure I was well taken care of and had everything I needed and then some. Absolutely great company giving back to their community and taking great care of their customers.

I popped into Northwest Hub today wanting new brake pads for my E-Bike. 2 other shops in town quoted me at roughly $60 and told me it would be 3 weeks until i could have the service done. I was a tad bit upset as i was expecting to hear the same thing from these guys. Not only did Kurt and the Crew inform me that my brakes had plenty of life left in them, they offered some great knowledge about how to service the brakes myself. Needless to say I didnt have to do so. Kurt and the gang adjusted my brakes and answered all the questions i had right away and in a very informative manner. I wont be going anywhere else for my service needs ever again, and you shouldnt either. Kurt showed recommended a few locks i should get to better protect my $1500 bike and ill definitely be purchasing one in the future instead of buying online. Thanks you guys for treating me so well, you just made a loyal life long customer.

I went for a small repair but the piece of plastic they put in didnt last long. I thought they would give me some similar aluminum one. it doesnt even look good. I say it is functional but I do not like that detail and the time that I wait. I was able to get my part at Walmart and install it myself. In the same way, if at first they delivered a bad job and also very expensive, there is nothing more than to let my cycling friends know that it is a terrible place to make repairs since it was my experience. personally I would not go back there.

An honest down to earth bike shop. New and used bikes. I have taken my bike there several times to get repairs and they always seem to be honest. It looks like you can also go in and use their facility to repair your own bike at a certain rate. I have been to other bike shops and they always seem pretentious this place does not. Like I said down-to-earth they utilize used bikes and repair them and they have used parts for sale which ultimately makes it cheaper to repair your own bike.

I absolutely love Northwest Hub. Their service is consistently amazing. I most recently got my wheels replaced, and they made sure I knew what I was getting, and that the new wheels would fit with everything else. When they were installing the wheels, the mechanic noticed I had a couple other things close to replacement time, and after finding out I was interested, got them done at the same time. He told me to come back if I had any issues, and when I came back later that day, and my brakes felt off, they adjusted them for me, for free. The prices are affordable, especially for service, and their mission is amazing. This is the only place Ill take my bike.

Called asking about fixies, the first guy that answered was obviously a volunteer or new as he wasnt professional and assumed I was talking about single gear bikes. I then called it a fixed gear bike where you cant stop peddling so no coasting and he got very confused. He handed the phone to someone else that was older and knew more but once again didnt know the term fixie, he did understand what a fixed gear bike is but wasnt any help besides that. Ive gone here several times before, once I bought a set of lights for my bike and less then a week later a police officer pulled me over because they werent bright enough. Although another time I bought a refurbished beach cruiser which I converted into a motorized bike and had zero problems with any of the components. The only reason I rated three is because that bike went through two motors and hit ~55 mph (it was very sketchy) before I had to decommission the bike because I didnt want to waste anymore money on motors and wheels. Since Im planning on riding my fixie everywhere or my ebike if its too far, I wont be going to them fir anything major until all their staff is knowledgeable on all types of bikes not just the basics. I know fixies are kinda niche but if I plan on going to a shop Id rather spend some extra money to have the staff know more then me because I just learnt that my fixie is one of the worst you can buy so that shows how much I know.

I have never experienced such prompt, helpful and genuine service in this town.I went in here today assuming it was a standard bike shop, as my bike was recently stolen and I was on a mission to find a replacement. I ended up walking out of NW Hub with a new (well, used but in VERY good condition) bike that had a sticker price about 80% less than what the same bike is going for on Craiglist.Coming from Portland, I am not used to such welcoming service and knowledgeable staff who are more than willing to sit through my series of irritating questions. The person who helped me (short hair, younger...forget their name) went above and beyond and was actually an expert in their field (again, not used to this from local bike shops). I have disproportionately long legs for my frame and finding a good bike is always a chore. However, the associate from NW Hub took one look at me and brought me directly to a bike that fit my size. Riding home, I was baffled as to how in-tune and not used this bike feels. While I hate to leave a good review that essentially boils down to they werent the other guys, this is worth noting because the bike culture in the NW can be smug, snobby and elitist. NW Hub, on the other hand, dealt with my noob questions like a boss and made me feel like a valuable customer from start to finish. Im still left wondering how they were able to sell me a $1,000 bike for less than $200. Ive purchased new bikes from stores here that dont ride nearly as smooth as the used one I got today.I will be back for all of my bike-related needs and will recommend this spot to anyone I can. 10/10.
