Walked my bike in and they werent busy, so able to fix me up with new brakes in just a few minutes. Excellent customer service, even cleaned my dirty tires ^^ Fixed some loose bolts for free, top off the air and total cost was much cheaper than I expected. Super happy and much more secure out on the road. Highly recommended :D

I visited this shop for the first time today and was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted immediately when walking in. I was after a race bike after over a decade away from the track and all though they don’t do much in the line of race bikes they did there best to help me out. They even pulled there guy from the back, Adam that was a long time racer to answer all my questions. Everyone was very helpful. I love small businesses like this.

Hands down, this is the ONLY bike shop in my mind if you’re into MTB, and I don’t even live anywhere near Salem. I’ve bought two bikes from Giant (pre-pandemic) and had them shipped to these guys. Santiam Bikes customer service is well above average, as well as their knowledge of bikes, parts, upgrades, etc. I won’t rant on and on, just check em out and see for yourself.They are also connected with local trail groups like BRMBA, and have a real presence in the local MTB community. Before Covid, they hosted group rides and fundraisers as well.All in all, a great shop with great folks!
I need an $60 adapter for my truing stand, so I decide Ill give my LBS a call so I can give them my business. After calling them 5 times and getting no answer nor any chance to leave a voice-mail, Im shopping online. Nice shop, but it doesnt need my money, and Im sure of that.

I visited these guys for the first time yesterday. Needed help on my sons bike to get the brakes right. They were super helpful and quickly fixed the bike. We also added a kick stand. I will be buying all of our bikes here in the future.

As a 14 year old not knowing what parts for bike need to be fixed i went buy pegs and did not know how to put them on they added the pegs for me for 0$ all i did was spend 20$ for pegs great price and they helped figure out all my problems for my bike not being griesed on the chain and fixed alot for it will defiantly come back again for more parts

This local bike store located downtown has a little something for everyone. From Balance bikes for toddlers to road and mountain bikes they have something for everyone.The friendly and knowledgeable staff have the experience and knowledge to help you find what you need for any age or level of cycling experience. The only issue is that if you are looking for cheap and dont care about quality this store is not for you, frankly no bike shop is as they build their reputations on quality and return customers.For anyone else this store gets an easy 5/5 and I would rate it higher if I could.

Weve been on several times for repair work. These guys are great. They get it quick and do a solid job. Theyre also available to get us back on the trails asap. They pricing is solid as well.We travel from Wilsonville to have them work on our mountain bikes.I high recommend Santiam.
Great place. Nathan explained every bike in detail -the goods and bads on which one I should choose. Nathan made it real comfortable for me to buy what I wanted rather than trying to push the most expensive bike on me.Everyone I have encountered there has been curious as well as skilled. I kept popping the tire on by past bike.

Extremely helpful folks! I had some questions on ordering a five-speed internal hub conversion kit for my adult trike and they were kind enough to take the time to look up exactly what I needed and if it was available.
Let me begin by saying that they have a great selection, they will likely have anything you want and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I had a broken cassette and they charged me $10 to adjust the derailleur, when that didnt fix it, they told me the problem was the hub, so they stripped my old wheel and put it on a new wheel, pretty close to $100, then when that didnt work, I went to a different shop where they looked at what could be the problem and on the first try figured out it was the cassette. It was pretty obviously so too. Here I felt like they wanted more money than returning customers. Like I said though, they have everything and good people, they just want your money.
I love how the associates are fast and anticipate my needs. they helped me with locating and removing a tiny metal splinter out of my back tire trend, rebalance my bend front wheel and sold my a light rear bike rack that fits my bikes weird set up. The prices are fair, usually $15-20 or less for most repairs/installs.
My wife and i went here looking for a couple entry level mountain bikes for under $500ea they had a great selection and the customer service was superb!!! all our questions were answered and we were able to get exactly what we hoped for without breaking our budget. we even got a little coaster bike for our kids to practice on!
This shop is by far the best place to buy a bike! all of their employees know what they are talking about and are out for your best interest. No pressure to buy something and in some cases they talk me out of buying something to save me money. they carry all the best brands and often give deals on parts when I buy a new bike. I recommend going here.
I took a novice bike group in to look around the shop and also asked if Dan would be willing to give us a quick tutorial on how to change a flat and how to put a chain back on if it were to come off. He went above and beyond any expectations I had. He was thorough in his explanations, and able to answer any questions we had.I cant say enough about how appreciative and impressed I am with the service given at Santiam Bicyle. My husband and I have used Santiam Bicycle on many occasions and they have always been helpful, knowledgeable and courteous. They even allowed us to bring back a rented bike one day late (without being charged) because of our schedule. We have purchased a variety of items over the past several years; a bike, along with many accessories. They have all been top quality and reasonably priced. We would recommend this bike shop to all.

The staff are super knowledgeable, and they do a great job explaining bike stuff without sounding pretentious. I love that they keep an air hose out their back window so people can swing by and pump up a low tire quick. They took great care of my old bike, and had fair prices on accessories, parts, and labor. These guys are legit bike guys.

Wow......I went in today to get my tires and inner tubes replaced and had the worst customer service ever. I called and asked how much it would be for them to install them only, I had my own supplies. First they told me $5 a tire then I called back and asked how long of a wait and confirmed that it was going to be $5 a tire, then the other guy told me $6 a tire.....only a $1 difference but still if a customer is told one thing and then another you should always go with what the customer was told first. Then when I brought it up when I got there and I told the guy that I was given two prices he was very rude about it and said it is $6 a tire. Then my chain was off my bike and I asked if when he did the back tire if he could put it back on, he stated Yea for another $5 REALLY! Wow after I was clearly frustrated about being told two different prices for the tire installation. It would have taken not even 2 minutes to put it back on.......I know companys have to make money but you have to have customer service as well and today there was ZERO! I had to do the tire part but needless to say I wont be going back. I work customer service and that was absolutely ridiculous today. Scotts Cycles just earned all my business. 1/2 a star if I could.

Terrible, rude service. I took mine and partners bike in to get looked at the other day. First off, my bike is pretty old so I knew I needed to at least get the tubes changed out. The person who helped me only did the back tire even after I asked him to do both...on the way back home I hear the front tire pop and is now completely flat. On top of that, my chain, which never have me problems before, just fell off as soon as I got home.Next thing, which is the reason Im writing this review, when looking at my partners bike they were just incredibly rude. The bike has a lot wrong with it, but I dont work at a bike shop so I have no clue whats actually wrong with it. After being told multiple times that they didnt have time to work on it I still couldnt seem to get out of there for an hour. The guy kept fiddling with the bike while at the same time telling me he didnt have the time, parts, and kept referring me to another shop. While he was looking at it I asked what needed to be done, like if the brakes and other things were functioning fine (I assumed he would be able to tell me by looking at it, guess not), in a very stern voice told me HUN, I JUST DONT HAVE THE TIME. On top of being a rude prick he was also a misogynistic prick. But then he kept fiddling with it rather than set up a time to look at it or just let me go. Finally after an hour I was able to leave and he referred me to Scotts where they were at least courteous.Do not go here, save your time and give Scotts some business instead.

I am so grateful for their fast and friendly service! I walked in at 610pm and had called ahead to see if they had the part I needed. They fixed everything: broke derailleur hanger, spoke, true wheel, flat repair while I waited.And I was out the door before 7. They showed me how to adjust some things on my bike and were overall super helpful. Their shop has everything you might need for XC and DH. I will be coming back and so should you. Thanks again!

I went in today looking to buy a new bike. I will admit I am a pain in the ass because I didnt know what I wanted and was very indecisive but they were very understanding. I left to mull over which bike I wanted and when I came back an employee named Troy came and he didnt just try to sell me something expensive he took me all around the back shop and showed me what is good about a part (i.e. The back wheel hub) he physically showed me the differences in parts and didnt just tell me fancy words. He took a lot of time to help me find my perfect bike. I really wanted a hybrid but felt I had no choice but to get a mountain bike. Thanks to Troy I have my hybrid and it is amazing. Thank you all for putting up with me today!

Had $400 worth of work done on my road bike in prep for a bike trip up to the Canadian Rockies which included replacement of tires and they ordered a new headset and battery for my Di2 shifters. Picked up the bike only to find the brakes rubbed on the front wheel, the rear tire was bad, and the parts I ordered wont be in until after Ive left for my trip. 3 bike shops within a 4 block radius...Ill be trying a different bike shop next time.

Bought a near vintage custom bicycle at the beginning of summer on craigslist. Great bicycle but had some problems. After riding it all summer, I broke it. Brought it into santiam bicycle and $50 fixed. Not only did they fix it, fixed it so it rides like a dream! Over all very happy with the service and reasonable prices.
