I wish I caught his name, but the tall gentleman (shaved head) was great to work with. I had a blown out tire, he got the road size warranty process done quickly, got the tires in the next day and installed. No issues. He installed the tires himself just so I could get in and out. Only suggestion is not to use their online appointment system and instead make call to make sure they have availability.

Did great job installing tires on my truck and preserving the off-road tires they removed (which I will put on another set of wheels later). Had to wait for my tires to be delivered longer than I wanted to, but that’s not really the shop’s fault. Tires were balanced well, which isn’t always the case when I get tires done. The people there were nicer than your usual shop... maybe a bit more enthusiasm, but I wouldn’t want to be working in a Saturday either, haha. Also overheard the desk guy quoting tires for a woman who showed up and he didn’t try to scam her like I have witnessed other shops do. Being someone who deals with cars and their tires a lot (racing), I know she could have faired slightly better price-wise doing some online shopping first instead of just walking in, but she was treated fair and wasn’t pressured into a bunch of junk add-ons.

Jonathan and Spencer were incredibly helpful and life-saving. While out of town, I suddenly developed what sounded like a major expensive car repair which made my car impossible to drive and would take hours to fix. They were honest and quick to fix what was actually quite minor. In and out within thirty minutes. Thank you so much!

I have been going to this location for decades and have found it to be honest work at an honest price...until recently. I called to schedule some maintenance work on my Silverado. Upon arriving at my scheduled time I was told they couldnt honor the appointment in fact it would be 2 days until they could see me. No apologies, no alternatives... nothing. I will NEVER use or recommend PEP Boys again. Rather I would recommend Karl and Robert at Roswell Auto Center.

Employees respectfully and professionally handled what could have been a very stressful situation where they told me one price, but I heard a much lower number.They took care of it beyond my expectations.

I recently purchased a 2017 Toyota Highlander XLE and wanted a trailer hitch put on. The dealership wanted $500 for the oem hitch and $300 for labor. That was not including the wiring harness. I was able to find the hitch at another dealship $200 cheaper and had Pep Boys install it for $50. The tech Lionel did a amazing job.

Went to the Roswell store looking to get a tire manufacturers warranty fix, The company was Michelin (which owns Michelin, B.F. Goodrich and Uniroyal brands). Counter person declined to help me as he said they didnt sell many Michelins. I rememberd a Pep Boys up the street (just north of Upper Hembree) - went to that one and they fixed me right up. Avoid the Roswell store - use the Alpharetta one!

Ryan was great service was fast honest and very pleased with this location had the hard to find tires for my car I wanted I waited until he was working to have them installed since he helped so much over the phone drove past the Buford store since they weren’t interested in selling anything thanks again Ryan!

I recently had major suspension issues with my Mazda that have been ongoing for almost 5 months. I took it to Pep Boys and worked with Allan the customer service manager to resolve it. It took a while but piece by piece we got it figured out and now my car runs really smoothly. I love this shop and loving working with Allan. I feel he listens and truly cares to fix my car right. His mechanics also do good work. If i had a criticism of the shop its that there are not enough mechanics working at one time. Other than that service is typically impeccable. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

Appointment made for 1 pm. Got there around 12:55. Donald told me its going to be 2 hours before they can get to my car. Told me to come back and I wont loose my position.Went back at 3:17. Donald put me up for next.My car gets pulled into the garage 4:02 pm. Got my car ready by 4:27 pm. Alignment is good and no adjustment needed.They have many bays open but there were two technicians.I want to thank Donald keeping his words and keep my position and allows me not to wait there for 3 hours with my appointment.

I called this store yesterday to ask questions before we scheduled my mothers vehicle for battery change. I specifically asked if pep boys uses battery memory savers because it was important to keep the settings on this vehicle. Whoever I spoke with on the phonewas quick to tell me pep boys always used battery memory. Well, my father just picked up the vehicle, and all memory is gone. So the important things yall lost us are GPS coordinates to places you can only program when that vehicle is PHYSICALLY in that coordinate. How hard is it to plug a memory saver into the cigarette lighter? This is a huge joke because batteries and memory savers are taught during the first month of tech school. Needless to say, my parents are 100% disinterested in going to yall for service. And you can bet Im not buying anymore tools from yall.

So my boyfriend went in here to get a tire installed on a rim and they charged him 77 dollars for the tire and installation. Fast forward two weeks later and I came in with the EXACT same parts and problems and they tried to charge me 95 for the tire alone and some sensor that was an additional 93 dollars and all without the service. So this was just an act of BLATANT sexism. Absolutely unbelievable. I will NEVER GO BACK HERE AGAIN! I wish I could give negative stars

Came from Wal-Mart with a tire issue and they said I needed a valve replacement and wont beable to fix it. So I came to Pep Boys and found out I it wasnt nothing wrong with thw valve stem. I have been a loyal customer for many years, but based on my last few trips to this place, I WILL NEVER COME BACK. I left my car there for some basic maintenance (oil change and tire rotation) and the manager said to come back in a few hours. I decided to come back in 4 hours only to find out that NOTHING was done to the car. In all honestly I was so ticked off that I just grabbed my keys and left. NOT EVEN AN APOLOGY form the manager.. I should have read the reviews this place has been gathering lately. With so many places to go for service, this is one to avoid.

Friend had an issue with a leak in a tire during a bad thunderstorm. While we were there, the power actually went off on the entire block but Pep Boys location still kept assisting customers any way they were able. Power came back on shortly but they never stopped trying to help! Very knowledgeable, professional and offered highest level of customer service!

I had the most incredible experience at this Pep Boys location today.. Troy, the manager of the parts store, honored the limited warranty I had on previous parts/ service at a location out of state. Additionally, the service technicians repaired my vehicle in record time and had be back on the road feeling safe. They earned my business and I highly recommend them!!

Its been a year since this happened to me, but I was just laughing about the experience and thought Id leave a review. My car was vibrating and knocking so I brought it into pep boys to have it checked out. First they said it was the spark plugs but after trying that out it didnt fix the issue. Then they decided I needed a new coil. Anyway, they were basically going to charge me $700 for repairs. I ended up taking it to Ford and Ford told me it was several coils & my computer and it would cost me $1300. I said screw that.Brought my car to Express Oil off Hembree Rd. They opened the hood to my car and literally within a minute noticed one of my wires was chewed through (likely from a rat). $50 bucks later and my car has been fine since. I will never take my car back to Pep Boys or another auto shop that just hooks my car up to diagnostics without even taking the time to just open the hood and find the issue. Express is now my go to place. I went from $700 bucks to $50 and Pep Boys had my car for two days without finding the actual problem.

Wow, I really want to give a shout out to LEVANT from this Pep Boys. For going above and beyond when we really needed help... He sure should get some recognition and a bonus, too!

I recently purchased a vehicle from a dealership and had Pep Boys inspect it first. Joseph Herman, the manager of the services department, was extremely kind, helpful, and patient with me as I worried about the true condition of the car. David Klemin is the mechanic who performed necessary repairs. Both of these gentleman were honest. efficient, and patient while personally explaining to me the needed repairs. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the experience and impressed with the professionalism exhibited. I would definitely recommend the service department at this Pep Boys location. Everyone was a pleasure to deal with, including Tanya.

I took my car here for an oil change and asked if they could give my engine a quick look over, because I had noticed a few spots in my driveway, after my oil change they didnt provided me with their 25 point inspection like I asked for and sense my car was serviced there its been leaking oil and power steering fluid pretty heavily plus the car smokes when I stop or am sitting for longer thasn a minute or two. I will probably take the car back to see if the car fix whatever the broke during my oil change and 100k mile service and see whats going on with my car because it wasnt doing any of this before...

I went this store to change tires, and Ryan and Allan helped me out and sorted out some misunderstanding. I was told the tires was on sale, buy 3 get fourth free last week, when I installed the tires this weekend, the sale was already ended, but we didnt find out after I checked out. Allan and Ryan still agree to give me $100 store credit so I can use to fix my brakes. They keep their words and do their best to earn customers satisfaction. They have done a great job!

Booked a appointment online for 12, show up at 12, and was informed by the rep, “our online system doesn’t talk to our shop, it doesn’t know we have one technician in and that all our bays are busy, so the wait is going to be about 2 hours.” Very disappointing that the system just allows people to book online with no regard to the shops capability to actually take the customer. Wasted 2 hours and drove out of my way for no reason. 😒

I brought in a battery that I bought in 2011 and they checked the warranty on it and told me it was still under warranty. I never even remembered buying it there and I was planning on buying a new one. The manager Allen even discounted the new battery so that I didnt have to pay a penny for the replacement. These guys saved me $100 just by being pro active in doing their research. I would highly recommend doing your auto parts business with guys!

I have been coming here for about five years. The whole staff is very friendly and professional. They never over charge me or push me to make unnecessary purchases. They always hook me up with deals. I no longer live close to this location but since it is in driving distances, I continue to come here, because of their customer service.

I have had my aging Ford Explorer fixed at this location a few times. Never for the same thing. Even when the repair doesnt go perfectly, they always make good on the problem without extra charge and zero hassle. I can recommend these guys as a reliable repair shop. I have also seen the same faces around the shop for a long time which I like to see in a business.

Id avoid this place at all costs! So unorganized and zero customer service! Called on a Thursday to make an appointment for a simple oil change- said they couldnt do it until Friday. We settled on noon, gave the gentleman my info (name, car info, etc)... showed up on Friday and I had no appointment. The guy at the service counter was quite apathetic and said itd be a few hours, and I shouldve made my appt online. Uh, why didnt the guy tell me that over the phone then? I will never step foot in one again. Theres a whole line of places to go down the street to go to that can work on your car and offer customer service! (Shout out to NTB for being awesome). I never leave reviews, but couldnt not leave one after my experience.

Im extremely happy with the service. I brought my 2009 Silverado in after I was unable to bleed the breaks myself when I came back they had it on the rack all tires off and had obviously been working on it for some time.They informed me that my master cylinder was bad and I needed a new one I didnt have the money to have them repair it. I fully expected to Pay them for their labor and time $69.00. However Ryan told me there was no charge it was considered a break inspection and they do that for free.NICE...VERY NICE

I was in for an oil change and was told that I needed rear brake pads so Ive scheduled the appointment. My experience with Catherine was quite good and she was very professional. Also Allan was very accommodating.I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time and my experience was a good one.

I dont know why Ive continued to come back to this location. I think I had one really great mechanic and since then I havent seen him. I go in for a simple oil change, something that shouldnt take more than 45 minute maybe, and its always at least an hour. I sit and watch as the service guys work very slowly sometimes leaving the area to go do God knows what. Yesterday I go to get an oil change. Im told its a 30-40 min wait as there is someone ahead of me. Ok. Ill wait. After Id waited for an hour, watched the car ahead of me finally go into the garage after I was there for 30 minutes, I finally see that car leave the dock. After that car leaves the dock, my car doesnt pull in, he starts working on another vehicle that was there after me. I asked for my keys back, which I didnt even really get an apology, and went to Jiffy Lube. I got an oil change, my tires rotated, my car vacuumed and windows cleaned all within 30 mins. With only ONE person in the entire shop. Im not going back to this Pep Boys ever again.

I took my car in for service at 7:50 and nobody was there despite having an opening time on their website stated at 7:30. The worst thing about this dealership is their parking lot! They have crammed cars in every possible square inch making it nearly impossible to get in and out of the lot. They blocked the exit on Elkins road with cars which makes it even more inconvenient. It might be worth getting a decent used car from them but dont ever come back for anything.

Purchase 4 new tires with hazard road warranty for our second van which is rarely driven. Had a blow out on the rear passenger side. The thread level and road mileage should just had them replace the defective tire. NOPE. Ryan wanted to hustle me into paying for a problem that they sold me. Without even looking at the damage on tire ( tire facing away when he checked thread and took mileage down), he claimed it was not defective, when I asked him how can he come to a decision of no defect without even looking at tire. He then said ok I will go out and look at it . Once he looks he claims someone had to have slash my tire. WOW. How can I even drive on slash tire and how can he so easily call a customer a liar. The darn tire blew as I was driving. I now have 3 other tires that may have the same problem. I would highly suggest not to buy your tires from this Pep Boys, unless you want to take a chance on a blow out and refusal to honor warranty. Have contacted corporate awaiting return call.Update: 11/8/16received a call from store manager with apologies for inconvenience. Was told that road hazard warranty should have been honored. Was told that he would reeducate his employee and also would grant me a new tire. Picked up new tire .

Took my car in on a Saturday and dropped it off to get new caliper bolts. Was told I would receive a call when the car was finished and never did. Instead I had to show up near closing time to find out it was finished a long time ago. Good work, bad service, no accountability. Don’t recommend

After getting my brake pads and rotors installed there was a burning smell coming from one side. For 14.99 then check over my work. The Tech spent a lot of time explaining what could cause the issue and ensuring my I did the install correctly.

Theyre efficient and always willing to help me get the work I need done within my budget. Love them.

Gave Pep Boys another try and they did not fail to disappointment me. Drove 25 miles to get brake pads that their website and salesgirl said would fit, guess what? No way in h*ll would they fit. Guess who knew they would not fit? The manufacturer AND Amazon!

Asked for a patch and they did a plug which does not meet the minimum safety recommendation of the RMA, and is no longer the standard tire repair method. A plug is temporary and can actually mean that other tire shops will not/ can not patch for liability reasons. The guy who accepted my vehicle did not seem to know the difference or care once I realized what they had done. I (and my usual tire shop pro) was really shocked they are even still plugging tires, not to mention just casually making such a substitute without even mentioning it. Had I not noticed they didnt have time to take the tire off and actually patch I would be driving around on a less safe tire, after asking for the proper repair. They said they dont even offer patching as a service, so I would be really nervous to trust them with my vehicle for any type of service.

I normally like to avoid Pep Boys but they were the only one around my area that was open on Sunday. Went in to have wheel alignment since it was making some noise while driving. The service technician said noise was coming from a bad wheel bearings. They were able to replace it in an hour and the noise is gone. I dont think they have the best price at $400 for wheel bearing for Toyota Camry, but they got the job done.

Horrible prices and misleading advertisements. I went in for brakes and they told me I had a bunch of other things wrong with my vehicle that turned out to be a lie. I took my vehicle back to my parents mechanic and saved myself $500 and a lot of unnecessary work. The mechanics work on commission so they are encouraged to recommend unnecessary repairs to “fluff” they pockets.

Oil change. I booked an apt for the next morning at 8 am. I get there and park my car in the designated spot. They tell me it would take 30 mins. Alright. 35 mins go by and I see that my car is still where I had parked it. Tell them I have to be at work at 9 and they tell me it wont be ready by 9. The place was empty, there was only 1 more customer there besides me.. I picked up my keys and left. NEVER going back there again.

This place does not honor time.I had booked an appointment online for the car air conditioning check at 5 pm on a Wednesday. Reached the store at 4 pm, handled over the keys.Was made to wait till 5-30 pm to inform that A/c technician has left for the day.I would look elsewhere is time is valued by anyone.

I had a highly complex electrical problem that Lionel was able to resolve. The problem was not easy to locate, but after diligent and often frustrating searches, the problem was resolved and repaired.There are not enough positive things to save about their customer service.
