My Husband and I always love going to the Hot Topic at Mt. Berry Square Mall. The employees have always treated us like family. The Woman that used to be the Manager at Hot Topic is now the Property Manager at the mall and Walnut Square Mall as well.

The prices as always were fairly high and the variety of merchandise was small and not actually varied much.

I went to your Rome, GA store in Mount Berry Mall today, where I was told I was not able to enter and shop if I wasn’t wearing a mask. I told this employee that I have a medical condition and cannot wear one. This employee’s response was “what is your condition?”First and foremost, what your employee did was HIGHLY illegal. No one can ask what anyone’s disability is as it is a federal violation of HIPPA and the ADA.When I explained that to the employee, he ran back into the store and called the manager, I’m assuming. The employee began to debate my condition over the phone and they deemed my medical condition WAS NOT VALID enough.So he gave me the number to corporate. I called the number he gave me while I was still in the mall. Corporate told me on the phone that employee was WRONG and should not have done that.So I proceeded to walk back to the store, all to have the same problem with the same employee. After telling him I talked to corporate on the phone, he proceeded to lie about the previous exchange we had a few minutes before and denied he did anything wrong. The incident was recorded on my cell phone, CCTV in front of the store, other mall footage, and eye witnesses.I called corporate again and I have filed a formal complaint against the Hot Topic in Rome.

Clean store and nice grungy atmosphere. Prices are about standard for a mall and they have a good selection of band tees. Four stars because its so dark in here that you can barely read prices or sizes on the clothing.

One of the few places left in the mall. Great place to wander around.

Ive been shopping at Hot Topic since they opened, I have always loved the merchandise. I dont mind that, for the most part, it is overpriced. I couldnt give 5 stars for this particular store because the day shift guy is horrible, not just rude but doesnt offer customers, or co-workers any help. He spilled his drink, didnt bother to get a mop, just grabbed a t-shirt from the bin behind the counter. I think this Hot Topic may be the worst one of all.

I always love going in here. The people are nice and the products are good quality. Ive gotten quite a few things from HotTopic

Why does your store open at 11 when the mall opens at 10? Are you guys to good to open at 10 like the rest of the mall does? That is unacceptable.

I usually love taking the 30 minute drive but today I came to pick up an order. Already paid for and Ive been sitting in front of store 30 minutes waiting for someone to open the darn thimg. This is not good...30 minutes late...really. My time is important to me if it wasnt going to open post it!!!!!

We shop here a lot but its 10:30 and they still arent open! Been sitting here waiting to pick up shirts we ordered last weekend! You need to hire people that will be here ON TIME! The guy that finally opened at 11 was rude. I will take my shopping elsewhere!!!

Just started shopping here for my teen and after giving them my email address I get all kinds of coupons and never end up paying full price for anything

Came in yesterday asked about perfumes clerk watched me like I was going to steal. Did not great me with a hello or a goodbye. Stood right beside me while I looked at beauty items. I ended up leaving the store because I was so upset!! Not all black people steal!!!!!!!
