Went there for a NYState inspection. I called first, spoke to Richard he told me to bring right away. I spent close to 3 hrs at the shop. Technician Dickerson performed inspection. I was told I needed rear brakes. I asked to look at them since I was not experiencing any problems. Everything looked perfectly fine to me. I challenge going to a different shop for second opinion. They also told me that my wipers were questionable, no chatter, I couldnt see eye to eye with them on this issue either.In the end...they passed my vehicle, and gave me a free coupon for an oil change.All that I wanted was to spend 50 minutes max there to have an inspection.It was not a good experience for me.

If they tell you they your vehicle will be ready by so and so... that is a lie.Find another shop. The basic jist of the conversation when going to pick up my car after them having it for 24 hours:Yeah I know that we called you yesterday to say that your car would be ready but I lied. Sorry not even sorry. Yeah I know all of the mechanics are sitting around doing jack squat but Im not sure when it will be ready. So best of luck to ya!

Helpful staff and the service was fairly quick. They did break my mustang wheel center cap and did not mention it to me.

These are good Mechanics. I believe they are honest and I trust them. I dont believe that they will damage your car and and try to charge you a large sum if money to repair it like some other mechanics do. I hope they never prove me wrong.

To pass inspection our vehicle needed something repaired that they diagnosed as the reason it would not pass. We agreed for them to repair it ( $1000) They reset the engine light and then we had to drive 50 miles to ensure it stayed off and wouldnt you know it came back on and when we brought it back they said oh its something else. That fix will cost you $600, please avoid this location. These mechanics are about the scam not the loyal customer base.

Out of 8 places I called, Firestone was the only place that had the tire size I needed and got it done with plenty of time to spare for me to get to work.I popped a tire yesterday while working (I drive for a living) and was running on a spare. I needed to work yet again this morning but I needed a new tire in order to work. As I stated above, I called 8 different places at 7am this morning and not one place had the 1 tire I needed. When I called Firestone, the man who answered (Mike, I believe) was very friendly. Very enthusiastic when I was overjoyed after being informed they had the tire.I got an oil change too since I was overdue and the man who took my information and everything even gave me a $15 off an oil change coupon! So awesome.Overall, they saved me today. Highly recommend Firestone to anyone. Great staff, well trained, and great conversation.

I found the tires I was looking for all over the internet and couldnt find. Called the local Firestone shop and got exactly what I was looking for. AND at a great price. They installed the tires on new rims with no issues and pretty quickly at that. I recommend Firestone for your tire needs. Good job fellas.

Don’t waste your time

Stopped in for a wheel alignment today. Myself and another customer stood at the desk for about 15 minutes w/o any acknowledgement. Never will i give such a place my business. I understand it gets busy, but please acknowledge me standing here.

Was a fantastic experience. I am from out of state and have been to several different Firestones in my life and this one by far was superior. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience great. I spoke to a Mike and he was very informative and didnt get annoyed by my multiple questions about stuff and he even suggested things to do while on my vacation trip to New York.

They are high pressure sale on stuff you really dont need windshield wiper blades & flushing brake fluid probably wont go back to Dewey Ave store ever again !!

The staff at the Firestone were extremely helpful, and knowledgeable, when I needed tires changed on my 2013 BMW X3. I was on a budget and had to keep costs low will while still maintaining quality. Rich, at the Dewey Ave location, carefully listened to my needs, prepared a choice of options, and made sure I got want I needed. The staff was professional and courteous throughout.

Trustworthy, friendly, knowledgeable, clean comfortable waiting room with TV w/remote and coffee and restroom. I have used this place several times and have been very pleased with the service and turnaround time in servicing my vehicle. Each time I experienced courteous service, an explanation of what is to be done. Upon completion there was no surprise in the final price. I also purchased tires (no sticker shock).

The technician, Armando, went above and beyond to explain everything to me in detail. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable, and very patient, kind, and courteous! Miguel, who assisted me at the counter, was also extremely kind and professional! I would highly recommend this place!!

I drop my car off on August 12 at 3 o’clock for my appointment no one ever calls me to let me know my vehicles done I show up to the place they’re closed the doors locked the individual inside and said I have to pick up my car tomorrow that means I have to miss out on a couple hours of work losing out on a couple hundred dollars because of this company that is unacceptable normally when people drop their car off for a service as simple as an oil change they expect it back the same day not to be inconvenienced needless to say they have lost my business! This is by far the most expensive oil change I’ve ever paid for thanks fire stone...

Took almost 2 hours to replace one tire on my car. I made an appointment online to avoid that exact situation. two different customers who came in after me were all set before i was. would give them one star but the employees are very friendly. would not recommend coming here if you have somewhere to be.

The 2 stars is for the work they did, nothing wrong there. but the prices are outrageous and they will charge you for every diagnostic test EVEN if you get the work done there. I ended up paying 1000 dollars on 2 tire rods and 4 tires 400$ of this was fees taxes and tests

Ordered snow tires online on a Sunday to have installed on a Wednesday. Made the appointment online and called the Firestone location to confirm. Showed up on Wednesday (left work early) at my scheduled time and my tires had not even been ordered. They then tried to sell me all season tires in place of the snow tires I should have been receiving. Terrible customer service. Will definitely not be back!

Brought my car in yesterday to have fixed so it would pass inspection and they bypassed lower control arm which caused it to fail inspection. How did they miss that? They did take care of my issue when I brought it back to them.

Paul provided me with some awesome service and was super helpful with my car situation. He was honest, wasn’t pushy, and made us feel like home. I’d recommend everyone to the firestone on Dewey because of Paul and the amazing team!!!

Don’t bother coming here unless you want to be conned. They will ask you to replace extra parts and over-charged it. I just replaced wiper blade and filter few months ago myself and they asked me to do it again, or my car wont pass state inspection.

My car dealer referred me here to get my parking brake fixed. The service advisors are pretty good, but the mechanics suck. Got my car back, tested the parking brakes, and the cable snapped off. The next day I looked under my car and I can see it hanging without bending down. Had to make an appointment next week. Went there a second time and the cable was finally fixed right. And then a week later, the cable failed again. I don’t think I would recommend coming here to get your car serviced. These so-called “ASE” mechanics are a joke. Crooks. There’s no good mechanics in the greater Rochester area.

These guys and gal are AWESOME!!! They just dont take your keys and give you back more problems. They ask the right questions. I have been with them for 5 yrs. I like that they know me and I am so comfortable putting my car in their knowledgeable hands. I was having some rattling noises and acceleration issues. I wanted to leave my car overnight so they can hear what I hear. The next day Rich called and gave his opinion on what may be the issue. It was nothing that I thought . He said I had a loose ring on my muffler that was just there that could be the rattling. He also found from inspecting my belt was fraying. I said ok go ahead and fix them. He didnt see anything wrong with the acceleration issue. When I picked up my car WALA the noise was gone and all was well again. Thank You guys you always treat me and my cars with HONESTY AND RESPECT!!!

Honest mechanics who do not try to rip you off. I came in a for a potential brake issue and they told me exactly what was wrong. I definitely trust them to be my permanent mechanic.

Went in there for 2 new Firestone tires. After waiting several hours they brought my car in. The mechanic went under the hood and I said to the front desk guy since when are tires under my hood. I seen the mechanic ck the cap where oil goes. Its was a rainy day out btw. The front desk guy said they do their routine inspection. I was still unsure of it. Since I just want tires. Anyhow they put the 2 tires on. Then told me I had a oil gasket leak. Wanted 300 to fix it and I said no. Next day had to bring car back because the tires were not balance right. Hiw can u not balance tires gz.. And after checking under my hood the mechanic loosened the oil cap (and I seen him) do so oil would spill all over. Btw I have no leak. These are crooked mechanics. Not sure if the guys in front desk knew of this but that not good business to loosen the cap so oil would leak out and say I have a leak. I would not recommend going to these guys. I used to love going there in the past until this experience. I also lost about a quart of oil from it too.. again use extreme caution having these guys work on your car at this location. Dewey ave near ridge rd.

Very bad place didnt fix my car and I paid 2,000 $ and I still have the problem, I also took it to a second mechanic and they said he put a used part on my car. I have a benz I will never go there again. Those people are very uneducated creatures

I was sent to this location after having issues at the irondequoit location. Told me I needed to replace either my master cylinder or brake booster. I would have to replace one or the other to see which it was. I declined their offer to do any more work on my car. Got a call from the service manager the next day and turns out they could have e tested my master cylinder without replacing it.... Every person I talk to from this company tells me something different. Save yourself the trouble and go anywhere else

Always very professional, they throughly explain everything. They have never tried to upsell me, or push unnecessary services. They are usually available the same day and have my vehicle done before close of day. I highly recommend this location.

Made appointment for inspection for a car sale. Was told 30 minutes. Took two and half hours while we waited. Two and half hours to look at my car. Didn’t fix anything.
