Dave & Bruce are by far the best! They are truly the most honest, capable, knowledgeable and friendly mechanics you’ll find anywhere. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to them for many, many years. Not once have I ever felt I paid too much and every repair has been done correctly the first time. If you want it done right, this is the shop to take it to.

These guys are awesome! Fair, honest, good pricing...they have saved me money on numerous occasions... Just the other day they told me to check if a part was under warranty from the dealership and it was! Saved me $400, they could have easily busy installed and charged me. After years of looking for an honest, reliable mechanic who doesnt overcharge or try to find problems where they dont exist, I finally found D&B. I truly cant say enough nice things about these guys, and it doesnt hurt that theyre right around the corner from me! Hands down the best mechanic experience Ive ever had. They only do the work thats needed and never pad a job to make more$, unlike so many local car shops. I have trusted them with my car(s) for over 15 years now! Outstanding!

Dave and Bruce are great. I came here on a recommendation from a close relative because I didnt know any good mechanics in town.I appreciated the professionalism and sincerity in their customer service and this was definitely one place where I was happy to leave feeling like I didnt get ripped off at all. They did great work and were affordable and took time to do extra work at no extra charge. My bill was a few hundred dollars less than what I was originally quoted which I would venture to say probably never happens with auto mechanics. These guys definitely arent in the business to gouge their customers.I was very pleased with this shop and I will definitely go here again if I need to and would certainly recommend to others.

I moved from Rochester many years ago to the NYC area and I still wait to get work done on my car here when Im visiting Rochester because Dave and Bruce are the absolute best mechanics. They are so honest and genuinely nice. They do excellent work. They also save you money any way they can and they have gone above to fit us in in a pinch. I wish we could take them back home with us. If you have to spend $$ on car repairs, theres no one else Id want to give my money to. Support this awesome shop!

Rating: Exceptional/ Reliable/ Trustworthy serviceThis place does honest work. Both Dave and Bruce (D&B) are very helpful and knowledgeable about cars. They wont do any necessary work to just do work, rather they try and make sure the work needs to be done on your car before billing you for it.Another mechanic before told me I needed to replace my timing belt in the next 5000 miles, whereas Bruce looked up the manufacturer recommended replacement mileage and told me I had another 30,000 miles before I needed the work. Rather than telling you your car needs work and doing it prematurely just to get billable work, and if you dont know enough about cars you will likely believe your mechanic, D&B will tell you what you really need. They go by the mechanic handbook supplied by the car manufacturers as a reference rather than pulling numbers out of the air.If youre in the South Wedge area, this place is even more convenient because you can drop off your car and walk home. Then walk back to pick up your car. Definitely give them a try if you think your mechanic is not working out or just need a second opinion. Ive been using D&B for a few years now, since 2010, and my friend who recommended D&B has been using him for 10+ years. These guys are great! Make sure to call to make an appointment, these guys get busy due to good word of mouth :)

Bruce is honest, reliable, and willing to discuss an issue and work with me to find the best solution to a problem.I usually do my own maintenance, so I have historically been very stressed when i have to go to a shop with a problem I cant fix. D&B is the first shop I have worked with for which this is not the case: I am very comfortable having them work on my car.

These guys are simply wonderful! Ive taken my car to them twice now and they have been nothing but honest gentlemen! Ive had my gas line patched and a rear door issue resolved, both in a very timely manner, both same day in fact! If I could give this establishment 100 stars I would! Highly recommended

This is an excellent shop. If nothing is wrong with your vehicle, they dont charge you! We had old gas in a vehicle, which was causing emission problems when we took it to a shop. One shop wanted to charge $2400 to fix it. We took it to D&Bs and they said to put some high octane gas in it, drive it over the weekend then come back and recheck it. The emission problems went away. This was two years ago and the car still runs fine. They didnt charge us. Recently, a check engine light came on, I took it in and they said that it was the gas cap not being on tight enough. They tightened it and didnt charge. This has happened a few times. You can trust them.

Bruce is the best mechanic EVER!!! He always helps me as soon as he can, he very reliable and knowledgeable. Daves cool too! I havent had Dave work on any of my vehicles cause Bruce is my usual mechanic but i have heard that Dave is great as well and he is always polite to me 😊😊😊 totally recommend both to anyone!!!

I have had some of my best experiences when it comes to help with my car, from the folks at D and B Auto! Twice now I have showed up on the fly with a tiny but immediate need and they accommodate me. They are also extremely generous with their pricing of the services they performed for me. I dont want it getting out too much about their generosity, as I dont want them to be taken advantage of. Their hard work deserves just compensation but it is rare to find guys like this in this industry. If I could give 6 stars I would! Thank you D and B!!!!!!

Exceptional service. I didn’t need to change the oil and the kind sir who assisted me put a small amount of fresh oil in the engine and didn’t charge me. He also took the time to explain and answer all my questions. I totally recommend this place.

I rely on D and B heavily. Both Dave and Bruce are incredibly nice and they never do work that isnt necessary. There have been multiple times that they have fixed minor problems (lights, fluids, etc) and not even charged me. Ive trusted them with my volvo and ford truck for years and I refer everyone that I can to them. It gives me great peace of mind to know that I have a mechanic that I can completely trust.
