What a great place to take a vehicle for an inspection, major and/or miner repairs, tires or almost anything else. Crescent Heights Auto has been there for a long time. I mean not just 10 or 20 years. It started out when Starkey was in the country and a shade tree mechanic was the guy who you wanted to fix your car. Step inside the office today and you wont see a pot belly stove but youll find a smile and the hands that can find the problem with your car and fix it.

The most honest mechanics I have ever met. Went in for an issue and was originally quoted $1200 for a repair (a reasonable charge for the I initially diagnosed problem). I agreed to the charge. After they opened things up, they discovered that the actual problem was much smaller and only charged me $70 for the repair. I think a lot of shops might have stuck with the original repair but these guys were super honest!

This placed has gone COMPLETELY downhill since they passed it down to the sons. This used to be a trustworthy place to service vehicles and ran by good ole country folks. The lady at the front desk is negligent, hateful, and could care less about you or your car, and very unprofessional. Its sad, really.

William and his crew are the best and they get it done quick.. and they got this issue done fast and priced lower than i expected. .and that is always sweet. .

They did a great job in a timely manner at and very reasonable price. As a matter of fact, the price was cheaper than my quote. Not saying it would be like that for every situation.

My father has been going here my WHOLE LIFE .... THEY ARE JACK MECHANICS .. Took my step mothers car down there today for a simple tire repair at 7am an didn’t get it back until they closed... I wouldn’t waste time or money going to them... they are over priced I’d rather let my 5 year old change my oil ....

I highly recommend this place to get your vehicle inspected for state inspection. I didnt grow up in VA, so Ive truly never gotten used to state inspections and every time my car is inspected at other places it seems they find the tiniest things wrong and charge a fortune. It is only 16 dollars here as of 8/15/2018 and they are honest about your car. I wish I had found this place years ago. I will be taking it here every year now. Also, you cannot beat the customer service here. The folks make you feel right at home and are extremely friendly. I wish I could give it ten stars. I hardly ever write reviews, but I simply had to take the time out of my day to review these folks. I can only imagine that the rest of the things they do here are just as great.

Crescent Heights ALWAYS goes above and beyond their call to duty. All staff including office ladies and the mechanics, are friendly and willing to go the extra mile for their customers. Although, having car fixed and/or maintenanced is not fun, it is most definitely an honest and personalized experience

The only positive thing I can say is at least I got my antique car out of there before they screwed it up more!! After seeing what crooks they are, I didnt even want to waste time taking it to court. On top of the $400 I paid them, I had another $600 to a real mechanic to fix crescent heights shade tree mechanic work. Wish there was a way to upload the pictures to this review of the antifreeze sprayed under the hood of a just restored 68 Camaro.

Great Work / Highly Recommend for Jeepers and Classic Cars

I had my car in your shop in June to have a stud replaced and a tire patched, the stud was not ordered and. Crystal told me I could drive the car on 4 studs however in August I would have to have it replaced before inspection.That is not the case I was driving my car last week and the tire almost fell off due to pressure on the other four studs it caused 3 more to snap. This is very dangerous information that was given . And now it will cost me more in the end .I’ve tried to get William to call me, but I’m not sure if you’re getting my messages

Great atmosphere, very professional, and very thorough

I went in to crescent heights to get some work done on my SUV and they changed the heater core and try took the dashboard apart and it looked like a child playing with Legos .This auto shop does really bad work I would not take my lawnmower to them to fix it .PLEASE DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP BUNCH OF JACK LEGS I WOULD HAVE THEM CLOSED. There is no way they are trained to resort cars

Warning never go to this shop. I used to go here for years, but after their lastest mess ups I go somewhere else and got their work checked on. Last time I went in they replaced the left wheel bearing. When I got it back the car had problems eccelerating, and flashing traction light. Took me taking it back 3 times for them to admit they damaged the abs sensor, with attititude they given me. Also when you take your car there they are so overbooked it can take over a week to get your car back for simple jobs, and they are rushing the quality of their work. Also found out the 02 sensor they replaced, they did not put a gasket on, which caused damage to my muffler. They are not thorough with their work, and have had to have everything they worked on redone. Go to an honest knowelgable mechanic

Crescent Heights staff is warm, welcoming and talks through the details of the maintenance of my vehicles. I trust them to service my car the way it needs!
