The service took longer then I expected but I was very impressed with the customer service. When I dropped off my car they drove me back to my place of business and offered to pick me up when the vehicle was ready. I got there a little early and stayed in their comfortable Waiting Room Lounge that offered drinks, coffee, snacks and comfortable accommodations.

Would give a half star if they would allow me to.The second worse car buying experience that I have ever had the misfortune to experience!!!Ms. Ford is very unorganized, unprofessional and apparently forgetful. Maybe she moonlights as Tyson Fury’s sparring partner!!!She was the one that scheduled the appointment for Tuesday 10/12 @ 6 pm. She called via phone and emailed several times on Monday. When I arrived from 1.5 hrs away she was taking to someone and attempted to me off onto someone else. In hindsight I wish I would have took her up on her offer.While conversing with her she didn’t recall anything we had talked about less than 24 hrs ago. She didn’t believe that we had talked and emailed previously, even when I showed her the emails and my call log. Ms. Ford could not find the cars she had emailed me. In addition to she constantly complained on what a bad day she was having among other problems.Once my wife finally found one Ms. Ford copied her DL and put a plate on it. She then approached me and stated, You are not going to buy this tonight are? We are about to close and the financial person wants to go.!!!!I advised her that the financial person, her and everyone else at the dealership could leave because I wasn’t going to buy S—t from this dealership.My wife and I have over a 700 credit score, had a bag with 5k for a down payment, a trade in for appraisal and a letter from our bank for up to 62k with out a call!!!Y’all must sell a heck of a lot of cars to turn us away!

I bought my first Ford in 2001, then had various other brands until 2021 when I stopped by the friendly folks of Magic Ford who helped me into an F150 truck. These folks really went out of their way to make my experience a most pleasant one. No pushy sales tactics but simply calm and experienced professionals.Even though it was after closing time, they worked overtime to get me rolling. I can whole-heartedly recommend this friendly Roanoke dealership.

I had a Wednesday morning appointment, scheduled almost three weeks earlier, and dropped my vehicle off Tuesday evening. Michael warned me that it would likely take a few days to fix the issue, once determined, but told me he would call and let me know what diagnostics found out the next morning.I didnt hear anything back all day Wednesday. Thursday I used the link provided to ask for an update, but still didnt hear anything. Finally late Friday I called and finally got Michael on the phone. He told me that my vehicle had not yet been into diagnostics, but that I was one of the next ones in line. I cant for the life of me understand why I had an appointment in the first place if it was just going to sit for three days.Anyway, it was the holiday weekend so I figured it would be Monday or Tuesday (depending on their schedule) before they got to it, so I let it go.I didnt hear anything from them Monday, but maybe they were closed for the holiday. I didnt hear anything all day Tuesday, and decided that I would find out if they had looked at my car yet and if they hadnt Id just go and get it back. Unfortunately, nobody would call me back when I left messages, and when I finally spoke to Brian it was already almost 6.As expected, he told me that my car had not yet been looked at but that it was one of the next ones in line. I told him to let Michael know that I no longer wanted them to do anything with it, and I would pick it up the next day (Wednesday, a week after my appointment) and look into taking it somewhere else.When I picked it up Wednesday, Michael apologized for the frustration and said but its one of the next ones to be looked at. I mentioned that hed told me the same thing Friday and he agreed that he had.I understand about backlogs, but a week after my scheduled appointment is absurd. But far worse that any of that is the fact that, at no point did anyone attempt to contact me. I had to initiate every conversation. I mean, why did Michael wait until I was right there in front of him, ten minutes before closing, to try to convince me to give them more time? Why not call me earlier in the day and do it over the phone?Maybe they perform good service on the vehicles when they finally get around to doing it, but to make someone wait days and days without any communications while their auto languishes out in the lot (we could have been using it during that time instead of my wife having to bum rides home from work) is unconscionable.

We had an engine light come on while pulling our travel trailer near Roanoke, VA. Fates were with us. This is an amazing service department! If we lived in the area, we would deal exclusively with this dealership. Pat greeted us and checked us in. She was friendly, professional, and reassuring. The service department has a serious backlog due to a shortage of mechanics returning to work post pandemic, but they took pity on us road weary travelers and worked us in. I cant begin to express our gratitude and appreciation for their excellent service!

After 44 years of driving, the first deer hits me 4 weeks ago.In a vehicle not yet paid for, with a new auto insurance, after a recent move and no familiar local hometown auto repair just down the road.I knew Magic City helped me find my perfect SUV in 2018 and had consistently streamlined my scheduled oil changes with getting me to and from work without a hitch since purchase, so what better place to start?I called their Collision Dept and Candice was kind, encouraging and very helpful. An estimate appointment was made, I dropped the vehicle off the day of and within a couple of hours Daniel called me with the estimate for repair.It was in the Collision Dept for a week and Daniel kept me updated throughout. He even coordinated with Service to complete my oil change that was due.When I picked my vehicle up, I was beyond impressed. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was, even the tires had had special treatment. If it hadn’t been for recognizing the license plate, I wouldn’t have thought it was mine. So I knew they had beautified the outside, but the inside detailing was even more amazing. They admit the wash is provided by collision to every customer after a repair. What a bonus!This is definitely an aside to the body work that was done. All I can say is my 2018 Ford Explorer looked new.The entire experience was so painless and went beyond my expectations.Their waiting room is large, comfortable and provides water and snacks. Or you can take advantage of their free shuttle service. Driver Doris is a joy and committed to getting you to and from a destination while you wait, in a safe and timely manner.As I have used all these departments and services, I feel highly qualified to recommend Magic City’s Sales, Collision and Service Dept.I doubt you will be disappointed!

Amazing service center staff! Michael and tge team were able to diagnose an unexpected transmission issue on our cross country trip. Despite not having an appointment, they squeezed us in, reset our computer system and had us on our way to our final destination with the part number we needed to address the issue in the future. We broke down on I 81 with our F150 while towing our travel trailer a few days ago. After talking with a couple Ford dealers in the area who said it would be days to possibly a week before they could look at our vehicle I was fortunate enough to speak to Micheal Finch the service advisor at Magic City. He said Magic would do what they could to get us in the shop but made no promises.Without getting into details of some of the issues with the Ford roadside assistance we finally were towed to Magic City Ford the next morning. B/4 we were out of the wrecker upon arrival at Magic City Ford Micheal was there to greet us. He made us feel at home and comfortable offering what amenities he had available at the dealership and offering to take us to get whatever we needed.We spent the night in our trailer on the lot and back on the road the next afternoon after the injector parts were overnighted from Michigan.Broke down far from home and at the mercy of service providers Micheal and the rest of the magic City staff were fantastic and are proof of how valuable good service is.Thank YouDave, Meredith and our German Shepherd Sasha.

Drove nearly 70 miles to see their acclaimed inventory of 2021 Ford Explorers. Upon arriving their lot looked as though they were going out of business and not a single 2021 Explorer to be found. Nearly a quarter of an hour later, salesman Randy Bivens finally comes out to help us. He was con koi genial at best, and and extremely reluctant to go back inside to get keys to a couple vehicles for us. As we entered through the front door with him, he abruptly shouted out what we wanted to look at. He was so loud, that it reverberated in the supper massive showroom which was nearly empty of cars. Once back outside, his demeanor remained cold and impersonal. Upon needing to see a another vehicle (2021 Navigator) it was clear that Mr. Biven did not really want to help us. So, I quickly made up an excuse and told Randy we were waiting on some funds and would come back soon.Was it because I was not dressed like I cold afford a $75,000.00 vehicle? Let alone a some $92,000.000 fully loaded Lincoln Navigator. Or was it the old classic vehicle I was driving? Bit of both?I any case, I could have easily bought two of each, cash.Magic City use to live up to its name. It use to be a great place to come too. That has completely changed. Once inside, only two women who now ignore you. What Mr. Bivens did not know, that I’ve been coming to this same car lot for over 20 years. Bought all my all my vehicles there new.Once inside the place, it was dimly lit, with most of their lighting out. The showroom was very empty, even their lot was looking very empty. An SUV I tried to look at in the showroom a few months earlier would not function as the battery was dead. And the salesman already knew it. Said its been that way for weeks. That was February of 2021. Yet, no one did anything about it.Now four months later, the entire place looked as though their on the verge of going bankrupt.In all my years, I’ve never had such an impersonal experience. I’ve always been a cash customer. I write a check, they confirm the funds, write up a sales receipt, put paper tags on the vehicle, hand me the paperwork and keys, thank them, and drive off. Just that simple. I’ll never be back. There’s another Ford and Lincoln Dealership in Bedford whom were extremely helpful, very personal and made the car buying experience a wonderful experience, like it should be. I bought one of each, 2021. The Lincoln for the hubby and the Explorer Platinum for the wife.

Put car in body shop lady hit it sitting still at Hollins kroger. Lady had progressive insurance. They made arrangements with enterprise for a rental car while in the shop. Enterprise came with car said 50 bucks up front then she said no check or cash had to be a major credit card that was in case I steal the car. Told her to take it back in so many words. Called progressive agent about it nothing from him (or flo). Lady at magic city was kind to me and arranged their shuttle to take me home. Shuttle lady was friendly and courteous sweet lady. Would recommend their body shop small or major. Meanwhile,6 days later no agent or flo. She must be on vacation lol.....agent too.

My new gt 350 with 1680 miles motor locked up. I have bought all my Ford vehicles from magic city but I will never buy another Ford product from them. They want to be great buddies when you are buying a vehicle but when a serious problem comes up with it they act like you have a disease. Did nothing to help with Ford on buying back my new car or replacing it with a match that was sitting on the showroom floor. You would be crazy to give them your business. The only decent person that I dealt with is Pat in service. Great girl... keep it up majic city and one day you will regret not stepping up to the plate and take care of your good customers that has supported you for years. Worst car buying experience I ever had. I have since bought a ram longhorn so I would almost thank Ford for treating me so badly because this new truck smokes any truck Ford makes. If anyone is looking for a luxury truck you really should check the longhorn out first. The ride is unbelievable Ram nailed it.

We had first contacted Magic City Ford about a month ago. Overall, their prices were much higher than other dealerships we were looking at. We had pretty much ruled them out. We found a truck we wanted in TN, at a price that could not be beat (we searched VA, NC and TN). We stopped by Magic City on the way to dinner the night before we were supposed to drive to TN just to glance at trucks to make sure the one we were going to drive to was what we wanted. We ended up speaking to Dujuan and telling him we were just looking around but happy to show him what we were looking at if he wanted to see. We ended up with a truck we love even more than the one we were going to drive to TN for. It was close to closing time but we never felt rushed, he and the finance manager took their time to explain everything to us and make sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. We could not be happier and are incredibly happy that we could keep our business local!

My husband and I have recently completed the purchase of a 2020 Ford edge at this dealership. We want to commend the staff there the service department and the sales person Kristen and sales manager. They were patient helpful and kind without being intrusive. They took a lot of time answering questions and concerns that we had with numerous emails and phone calls back-and-forth. Very pleased with the vehicle. There was absolutely no repeat no pressure to complete a sale. There was no repeat no attempt to load up a lot of extra charges. And most impressive when we were debating between the choice here and another vehicle at another dealership they responded with an offer which actually met our expectations without trying to see if they could offer a little bit higher amount. They were honest and straightforward and made the entire experience a very pleasurable one. Not by any means the stereo typical interaction that occurs at some dealerships. My wife and I were looking to purchase a used vehicle but really dreaded it due to past experiences with other dealerships. We shopped on several dealerships lots after hours to avoid the dreaded “being swamped by salespeople “. So I called the next business day and spoke to Kristin who from the moment she picked up the phone and during our conversation was very professional and attentive. We went by that evening to look some more and Kristin was present, she wasn’t pushy, she listened to our needs and was very informative. We chose a vehicle after test driving a few. It sure felt relaxing to purchase a vehicle and Kristin was a very big part of our pleasurable experience. We also dealt with John who finished our paperwork. John was again very informative, knowledgeable and attentive. I will never purchase a vehicle anywhere else except Magic City Ford in Roanoke. We took our truck for an oil change several months ago and after driving quite a bit noticed the oil cap was missing. Recently we went in for an oil change/tire rotation and a lug nut was missing. My windshield wiper fluid is very rarely topped off, which is a small thing but a neglected part of the service nonetheless.In both cases, the staff was very quick to correct the issue, but it would be better if the follow up visits weren’t necessary.

Everyone I encountered in service was very accommodating and patient with me as I had no real idea what the problem was with my truck.The mechanic who worked on it, Josh Hale, was knowledgeable and thorough. He dealt with causes one by one and managed to get parts promptly for my out of date model.The folks at majic city were a godsend, during a trying time. I had an issue with my Sync3 system and/or GPS navigation, they diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and got it replaced in only two days. Everybody was very nice and they even sent a driver to deliver the vehicle.

UPDATED REVIEW - Talked Jason Porter ( Director of Sales ) who is wonderfully thorough and he talked to the DMV - Explained the situation to me and it is now resolved. Instead of being dismissive, he told me why it was taking so long, DMV, COVID etc. Explained to me that even though my tags will expire they will be covered until 30 days after the state of emergency is over.......... thank you Jason Porter for providing clarity.--OLD GRUMPY REVIEW ( Still relevant ) WITH ANGRY PART DELETED - Drove from MD to Roanoke two times to purchase a C63 back in late November and its February 11th and my temp tags expire in 6 days. I have called - left a million voicemails...... John Meadows is NEVER there.....always voicemail...Karla the tag and title needs more help...she is completely overwhelmed.

Me and my partner visited magic city Ford today looking at brand new Ford Rangers after pulling one of our credit reports he said Jim Sanders that is we see no end game here and we don’t let people such as yourself test drive our vehicles and sent him on his way after earlier he said I believe we can do it as they had sent us an email with a credit application hundred percent guaranteed financing I have worked here bought several cars from here since family and friends we will no longer buy any vehicles or recommend them to go to Magic city Ford later that day we went across the street to Haley Toyota and purchased a 2021 Toyota Camry XSE with no problems no money down highly recommend Haley Toyota
