Pete and the team did a great job fixing the scratches on my door a touching up other seller scratches on my door and trunk. He was super knowledgeable and explained to me what needed to be done without trying to upset me. The value was amazing! Maaco would have charged me double what Pete did. The receptionist, Kelsey was super sweet and made sure to get all my questions answered before I dropped my car off. And the BEST PART was that I only had to leave it there for 2 days. Hopefully I stop scratching my car but if I need to get it repaired I will definitely be going back to Petes!!!

Pete and his crew did a great job. It took a little longer then expected due to the paint issue with my car, Pete wanted it done right. I cant tell you how much I appreciated that. Amazing work, great customer service, and very fair prices (hundreds of dollars less than anyone else estimated). I had to have one side of my car repaired after i scraped my car against a wire fence. The paint match was so perfect and seamless, I cant tell where the touchup starts or end. It looks good as new and has such a glossy finish. I will definitely be returning next time I need any body work done!

I am not one to review businesses, but this has to be one of the most poorly run auto shops that I have seen. This is a long review, but I recommend reading through the end if you want to avoid what happened to me.First, I scheduled an appointment to get an estimate for repairs for my car at their Nine Mile location. I get there at my scheduled time, and they are closed. I call their other location in Chesterfield, and I am told that the employee who was supposed to be there called out, and that someone was on their way to me now. I waited for 25 minutes (should have seen the red flag). I got the estimate done and was asked if I wanted to go through insurance or pay out of pocket. I said I would prefer to pay out of pocket if I could. He then gave me a quote to repair the bumper without replacing it, and he assured me that it would look brand new, as if I had replaced the bumper. I told him thank you, and then called in a couple of days later to schedule my appointment, and he said the repairs would take 3 days. I asked if I could bring my car in earlier, so that I could get to work on time and he said yes that I could just drop my key off. I drop my car/key off at the time I said I would.On the day I am supposed to pick my car up I call and was told that there was confusion as to what was supposed to be done to my car... a few hours before I was supposed to pick it up. I was asked if I wanted the bumper replaced or just repaired (I believed he was referring to what he quoted me for). I said I wanted it repaired, and he confirmed thats what they did. I go to pick it up at the scheduled time, and no one is there again. I call and they told me they were driving my car over from the Chesterfield location (hhich they never asked me if that was okay), so I am outside waiting another 30 minutes. They show up and my bumper is halfway fixed. The light was fixed, and the major dent was pushed back out, but the paint was still scraped badly. This was not at all what I was told it would look like. I tell this to the same man I had been dealing with (I believe he is the owner) and he told me thats why he said there was confusion about what was to be done, and that he didnt know my car had been dropped off for almost 2 days, despite us agreeing to when I would drop it off. He apologizes for the miscommunication, and doesnt charge me for the service. But I had still paid for the rental car for 3 days to not even have my car fully fixed. He offered to make amends and fix it for a lower price, but at this point I didnt trust them.On top of all this, his employee SMOKED inside of my car when he was driving it back and forth. There was large chunks of ash in my car and it still smells like cigarettes weeks later. Worst auto shop ever!!

After dealing with some of the other shops in this city I am so thankful to have found this one. The owner of this shop is very helpful and took the time to walk me through everything going on. The work was affordable and professional - wouldnt dream of going anywhere else.

Really caring and friendly staff, they called me with any updates and I felt good about the whole experience. They dealt with my crazy insurance so I didnt have to - what a honest relief... The work they did looks great, youd never know I was in an accident.

They did some paint work on my 2019 Mazda. Obviously I was devastated when my nephew had scratched it up. The dealership had quoted me a crazy price and so I shopped around and luckily found them. They did excellent work and now its back to looking like it did when I first drove it off the lot. I am so relieved.

I had some deep scratches on my car from maybe a shopping cart or a bike, I don’t know. I got 4 estimates and these guys repaired my car for half of the price the other guys charge. They did a wonderful job and the customer service was great. They even vacuumed my car. I would recommend this place to anyone.

They did a fabulous job! They even popped out dents in my car in areas they weren’t working on and did a great (and unexpected) job detailing the interior. I recommend giving them your business for sure. Everyone was very nice and they have a really cute dog.

Gave me a fair price compared to other nuts ones id gotten. Were good about keeping me in the loop and let me know once it was ready. Solid work i was very pleased.

This is probably the most affordable and best body repair shop in Richmond. I had to replace a bunch of things including my bumper and lights on my 2010 Prius following a collision and these guys did it for less than every single other well-rated place in Richmond that I called -- and I called a lot of places!Location is a bit out of the way, but dont let that deter you, Im glad I found them. All other places quoted $1600-1900 and this place did it for $925! Very friendly and helpful staff too. Car looked better than it ever did when I got it back (since I bought it used anyway) and they even waxed it free of charge as well. I didnt even know my car could look so new!

After having a shopping cart banged into my car, I rushed to Maaco to have it fixed. When I got up from the floor at hearing the cost. I drove down to Smart Fix.Keith greeted me on the lot and asked how could he help me. I asked for an estimate.The estimate was so good that I asked when could they take me. They said now if you want.Long story short, they drove me home, repaired my car and picked me up the next afternoon.Excellent repair job and customer service at a reasonable price.

They do great work but just do not communicate well. If you have anyone’s vehicle you are suppose to keep the customer updated i should not have to keep calling up to the shop wondering what’s going on with my vehicle.

I Deleted previous review, but as I previously stated their work is mediocre at best. 2 weeks after repair bumper falling off due to not being properly secured. After having someone else put the bumper back on properly they found loose bolts in the wheel housing.

Estimate was lower than any other i had gotten. Work was professional and my car looked good as new! definitely recommend.

Dont know if I loved the price or the work better, lol!! For sure keeping these guys in my phone just incase

These guys are awesome! We were in a total jam at the end of the day, and Pete and Bernard rescued us from a stressful and bad situation. Had the sliding door on our Odyssey come out of the rear track. My wife called the Honda dealer who told her that this kind of repair starts at $1000. Pete fixed our door and only charged me $106! Cant recommend this place highly enough!
