Racine Auto Specialists had helped me from the beginning when I had a check gage light on my 96 Suburban. With this light unfortunately not being an easy fix, the engine was then replaced. In the process, there were understanding complications due to the complexity of the job as in finding the best parts for an older vehicle. However, the job was completed and the vehicle brought back from the dead.

Went in for emission testing. Very polite and helpful. I was also able to get my new registration sticker right there. So convenient.

Went there today for emission test and had to make an appt. It said on the sign on the entrance door that the lobby was closed, so I didnt try the door. A man was there before me and didnt seem to have waited very long. Wasnt sure where to check-in, so went inside and he came in and I told him why I was there. Theyre really busy, as they have vehicles parked all over and parking lot is full and then some. I asked him about checking things out on my car, he said to drop it off but I have no way of doing that. Dont know what his name is, but hes very nice, as busy as they are.

I had an electrical snafu with my GMC. I had already eliminated the simple things so I needed help. I brought it to them and they found the issue and fixed the issue quickly, efficiently, thoroughly, and at a reasonable cost. I will definitely use them again, and would highly recommend them based on their skills and integrity.

When I went here I was told I had to wear a mask or I wasnt allowed in. None of the employees working in the building are wearing masks. Very short and rude. I would even avoid doing emissions test here

I go here to get my emissions test done every year. All of the guys that Ive worked with there have been really nice and very helpful. The guy I worked with most recently was very, very helpful. I had just gotten a new catalytic converter put in and I drove it for about 70 miles after clearing the code. I thought it was enough, but it turns out it wasnt. He helped me get a temporary license plate and let me know that it is better to drive the car for a week or two after clearing a code. I would definitely recommend going here for anything just because the guys there are so great.

Went for some work. When I showed up they had did extra work and charged me with out my prior knowledge or consent. No one called me to notify me that there was something else was wrong with the car. I even called them to see when the car will be ready. I really needed my car And they had it all day. And had no time to argue. Or else I would have to wait for em to remove the part. I paid the extra 100 and some. I will not be returning.

Went in for rear seal leak, got that fixed, said need new roters and brake pads from the fluid on them, got that done cost over 900.00 picked up and drove home, brakes froze, brought back, said now I need new calipers another 400.00 seems to be somewhere you dont want to go unless you plan on a lot of return visits for big money

As I brought my car in to be looked at they did that but wanted to rush me to pick up my car and they didnt tighten the lug nuts in the tire the tire flew off and caused an accident. How do you forget to do that

DONT THINK ABOUT GOING HERE!! We dropped our car off at 8 in the morning and they said it would take a couple hours like 3-4 hours and they would call when finished. I called 5 HOURS LATER!!! And they said they were still working on it. They did not say they were going to work on it all day . we found out they closed at 5 pm but not even a phone call to tell us that they were going to keep it over night. So i missed one whole day of work because of these people. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING HERE

They man on the phone sounded very rude but once I got there his whole mood changed and it only took him 15 mins or less to do my emissions testing but if you wanted to get any work done on your car they have a policy you have to book an appointment they don’t do walk ins

Very unhappy with my experience. I called ahead and made an appointment for them to look at my truck at 1030am. They told me there would be no charge to look at it. It took them until 4pm to even look at my truck. I go to pick it up and they charged me 48 dollars for a half hour of time. I told them I was told over the phone that the inspection was free and they made ecuses and refused to work with me so I paid and left. I do not and will not recommend this place to anyone.

I sent my GF there to get some work done on her car, (98 Camry) last year. I gave her a list, most of which got taken care of except 1 thing, TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) Mechanic told her to get her tires checked. I think he got confused with a TPMS, which werent really mainstream until 12.Monday I sent her to get her Emissions test, she went here. Mechanic said he couldnt connect to the ODB system, failed the car. Took it to a Valvoline shop, they had the same issue on the first attempt, watched the tech literally jiggle the plug, and connect to the ODB just fine, the plug wasnt seated properly.2 stars for poor effort. Not letting my girlfriend take her car to this shop ever again.
