I dont usually write reviews but this coffee was especially bad. I got an iced latte with no flavoring. It was weak and watery even after I paid for an extra shot to add to it. It also tasted like it had artificial flavoring in it, vanilla or something. I took 2 sips and couldnt even finish the rest. I would equate this coffee to Dunkin Donuts. If you want quality coffee go somewhere else. I also got a bagel and the amount of cream cheese they give you is barely enough for one half.I really hope you guys get some quality beans and hire some baristas who know what theyre doing.

Never understand how places like this stay in business. First here the snarky teenager at the counter had us just walk right back out. Tried it again today...$20 for forgetable bagels and watery coffee, and the pretentious group next to us totally killed the view of the water.

The main area looked nice and the coffee was alright, but they werent wiping down tables as people came and went, they ran out of creamer and didnt replace it the whole time I was there, their burritos were pure egg with hardly anything else and they asked for here or to go but gave everything in paper cups and paper bags anyway. Its not bad, but I wouldnt recommend going. Fine to stop to grab a coffee and head out, but beyond that not worth it.

What a great place! Hip atmosphere with a bit of nostalgia. Helpful and friendly staff. They have gfree breakfast bowls too! special parking space for veterans awesome!

Facility and grounds are quaint and relaxing. Coffee and food was good. Portions could be bigger with a bit more effort into presentation.

One of my favorite places to eat is Thrive. Kristen is the owner and Kandi are two of the greatest people. The food is delicious and the menu is awesome. Everyone is so friendly, take a stroll by and see for yourself. The homemade pies are the best I have ever had. The Salmon pies are great for the Lenten season. Five Stars all the way.

This place is great for breakfast or lunch. The back lawn is spectacular. Sit and enjoy the view. Great spot! Will definitely go again.

Want a great cup of coffee, excellent breakfast or lunch sandwich, or have a desire for something sweet, arguably one of the most successful coffee shops on the island. Phenomenal decorations, incredibly relaxing.It is a small slice of heaven!

If I was going to dream up a coffee shop this would be it.- Good use of imagination with the interior. Pretty setting with water views.The mocha latte wasn’t as espresso tasting as I would have liked. My reaction after the first sip was this is watery.

A bit expensive. Tried coffee, not so fantastic. Mint choc chip smoothie wasnt good. Burritos are good. Cookies are ok. Service is ok, options for different milks are there also. This place did offer a movie night which I thought was so cute.Its all about that view!

Not very happyI ordered a few wraps as did the people that walked in a 5 minutes later listened to the order same this I ordered and they received theirs as I am still waiting very unprofessionalI guess I will know longer be a regular as this is not the first time or the third time this has happened

Good coffee, great food and pastries, love the atmosphere. My wife and I found it because of a musician she follows on Facebook. Its our new Sunday spot.

I ordered a quiche and a pie for Easter and they were both excellent! The quiche was full of fresh spinach and mushrooms and was perfectly cooked and so tasty. The coconut cream pie was the best I’ve ever had, and everyone raved over it. Sizes were generous and prices were very fair. Definitely recommend!

Shout out to the caring woman earlier today who brought me bandaids and water after falling on my long walk there... thank you for your compassion and assistance!!! See you next Sun for that great long walk!!

Nice place, and good sweets but it was one of the WORSE ice coffees I’ve ever had. The line was too big so I didn’t bother going back in to have them remake it. I think the coffee was on the wrong grind setting or something

We were staying at an air bnb close by and happened to stumble upon this place on the way to head back home. Wow! Such a cute coffee shop with great views of the water! The pasteries were great! One of the best blueberry muffins Ive had, fresh blueberries and super moist. My husband got the breakfast burrito and it was a good sized portion. We really enjoyed the speciality lattes as well. The coffee was smooth and not acidic. Another plus was their showing support for veterans and Police officers. They also seemed to be Christian owned! My only regret is that we didnt discover this at the beginning of our trip-would have been there ever morning. If youre in the area, you have to give it a try!

Nice place good coffee and food options. Only issue is that the iced coffee is a cup full of ice and little coffee. Could not get straw into cup.

Really awesome spot to grab a coffee and sit by the fire place, or even sit outside with the ocean breeze. The best part is the bible scriptures on the walls and the big tree of life thats inside glorifying our king Jesus.

Cute place with great views. Traditional meets modern menu. Food was fresh. My Turkey Club had actual Turkey, not cold cuts. Staff was quick and friendly. I highly recommend this place.

Staff did not keep masks on despite government orders. Ordered an egg and cheese sandwich and got bacon on it, which I can not eat, so had to give away the sandwich when I got home. Also very slow service which would be ok if my order hadnt been messed up.

Thrive had participated in the Taste of Portsmouth at the Portsmouth Free Public Library, so I was eager to see their new spot and offerings. The women behind the counter were amazingly friendly and full of helpful information, and even though Im not a huge coffee fan, I did thoroughly enjoy my iced mocha. I also got a box of treats for everyone at work, and they are delicious and fresh. The set up is bright and sunny, there is a beautiful spot out back for when it starts to warm up again, a play area for children, and nice seating throughout the shop. I hope everyone goes down to Island Park to help this new business do well.

This coffee shop has amazing views of the water behind and in front of the shop. Very nice! Also, tons of seating and very spacious. Also, the coffee is excellent. I had vanilla chai, spiced chai, snickers, and mounds lattes. All quite good. It is definitely a local favorite and has a religious emphasis throughout the shop.I enjoyed my experience and would like to return the next time I’m in the area.

Weve driven by often and never stopped. We will be returning!! Wish I had taken pics but it was so perfect outside we left our phones on the motorcycle! We had lattes and sandwiches. Amazing chicken salad, mine had walnuts..yumm!Today they had the yard decorated and set up for a wedding! What a great idea!! The feeling of relaxation and peace were perfect for todays 80 degree weather. They have created a gem at this stop!

Absolutely beautiful, the owner is friendly, cheerful and an amazing cook/ baker she has a kids area to play, offers entertainment on property and is very family orientated . Beautiful ocean view, lots of items to choose from ( check out the coffee ice cube addition choice so your ice coffee doesnt water down. Had a wonderful experience, thank you for that!!!!

A covid experience at this coffee house included a lovely outdoor concert on Friday, June 12, 2020. The view of the gorgeous ocean and carefully place chairs and delicious hors doeuvres made it heavenly. The singer was John Tyler and though I would have wanted to dance, his song choices were not dance ish.

Frozen Toffee Smoothie was amazing! Ill be back for more! 😋

Went for the 4th of July. Gorgeous fireworks and great food. Live music was very nice. I will be making a weekly or minimum biweekly visit for some outstanding vibes and great view.

Today was my first time here. I had homemade chicken salad on a grilled croissant with a mixed berry tea. It was delicious, can hardly wait to try something else. Great location, quite, with a play area for children.

Big, bright space. Great cappuccino. Muffin was stale but not labeled or priced as yesterdays . Lots of parking. Outside, waterside seating available. Will definitely try it again.

If you have not gone. You need to! Very lovely decorations. Good food and coffees. Plenty of staff so not a long wait. Cozy places to sit. Separate rooms, but still open floorplan. One room set up for kids.

This place is great, and not your normal island park place. Super nice inside, and an inventive and light menu. The staff is very friendly. The inside is clean with traditional tables and counter as well as couches. Great place for locals to grab a bite or a cofee.

I bought a chai tea & egg & cheese on english muffin sandwich. Very inviting, you can sit at table or relax on couch, outside seating with beautiful water view. Dog friendly. Staff couldve been more friendly or upbeat.

They did an amazing job with this much needed coffee shop. Cozy space to stay and work with beautiful view of the cove. Unfortunately, the coffee is not up to par.
