My daughter and I won’t go anywhere else. Marla has a real talent for finding the perfect frames and Abe once saved me when I broke a pair and had no backup. They are THE BEST.

Today I took my son to see Dr. Bruce Starr who didnt want to get glasses because he was afraid of being teased at school. Dr. Starr took the time to reassure him and showed him the difference his glasses would make. Thanks for a great visit and the lesson imparted!

Where do i begin. I decided to check out Personal eyes based on the good reviews and I was pleasantly surprised. As this is my first time commiting to getting glasses Dr Starr was very professional and provided a thorough eye exam. Everyone there made me feel very comfortable. You really feel at home. Made me feel like i have been going there for years. I highly recommend them They have a great selection of frames, at superb prices. All in all personal eyes is a wonderful place and I highly recommend!!!

Abe & Marla are fantastic. Great place for new or existing glasses. If you love sunglasses they have a nice selection to choose from. Customer service is prompt & efficient.

Just searched up for the nearest optometrist and came across Personal Eyes. Took a shot and trusted the multiple positive reviews and was not disappointed. I decided at the last minute to set an appointment and he told me that bookings were full, yet Bruce Starr still went out of his way to schedule an appointment for me and fit me into his already tight schedule.Fantastic service! I was a little nervous about going for an eye exam especially due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but their precautionary procedures and frequent sanitizing and disinfecting of everything put me completely at ease and assured me that Im dealing with professionals. They really go out of their way to ensure that thorough care is taken in every aspect of your experience.Stellar experience and I definitely recommend them to anyone either looking into getting a new pair of glasses or getting you next eye exam!

The place is fantastic. Got last pair of glasses at Cohen optical plantation. Gucci frames were broken needed the same frames because I have lenses super expenensive said it would take two weeks max. Called after three weeks and they had no idea what I was talking about finally and they were aggrevating like it was my fault they called back 2 days later and found them they said my insurance wouldnt cover it just frames called Abe at personal eyes he was fantastic got me the frames for less than a third of what Cohen wanted. You really have to support neighbor hood business they take an interest. They care about client.They got me the frames in 2 days not 4 weeks. What wonderful service. Even if have no insurance go there because they will really help you out.A feel good moment in The the midst of a pandemic!!

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Bruce Star for the last 20 something years. I have an eye condition that requires special attention. Without a doubt I can attest to not only Dr. Star, but also Abe and of course Marla’s expertise when it comes to customer service, going out of their way, making you feel like family, and of course they’re all well versed in eye care, comfort, and knowledge pertaining to your eyes.I recently needed an eye appointment ASAP, and of course without hesitation they went out of their way to fit me in. Their precaution procedures for COVID-19 were reassuring. I felt safe and comfortable like always. Eye care is extremely important, please rest assure that you will be in excellent hands, not only for your eyes but for COVID-19 as well. I cannot say enough good things about Abe and Marla, the opticians at Personal Eyes. The care they take in fitting your glasses is unlike you will find at any business anywhere. We actually travel to Florida from Wisconsin when we need new glasses because of the care and attention to detail you receive at Personal Eyes. Dr. Starr, the optometrist associated with this business will take his time and make certain you have the correct prescription...lots of better one or two, better three or four before I could settle in on a prescription. We have used his service and that of Personal Eyes for over 20 years and I do not trust my glasses to anyone else.

After some years of dealing with other Opticians and actually being afraid that I was losing my sight, I was referred to Abe and Marla. PERFECTION is the only word I can use. Rather than delivering a pair of glasses that most people wont notice are a bit off, I received a call from Abe apologizing for a delay because he felt the glasses were not perfect. I absolutely agreed to wait for them to be perfect.After years of dealing with other Opticians, for the first time I saw better than I had in a very long time!!! These are not people interested in pushing glasses to the masses that are not perfect. They have high standards and Ive reaped the rewards. All I can say is, if you are interested in sacrificing your vision to save a couple of bucks - good luck with the other guys. Not me...Just a few weeks ago, I had an issue with some lenses and a frame purchased there. I walked into Personal Eyes and asked if someone is able to fix my son’s glasses. Marla assisted me and she fixed my son’s glasses in minutes. He fell on his glasses and they were crooked. She was phenomenal and she didn’t even charge me. I normally go to another eye glass shop, but I will definitely be back here! The customer service is terrific and their prices are very reasonable! If you go.... ask for Marla!!

Excellent service and quality. Marla knew right away which frames I would be interested in, and helped me choose a pair within my price range. Dr. Starr was very knowledgeable about my various eye conditions and took the time to speak with me about care. Not once did I feel rushed or pressured into any decisions. Abe was truly exceptional for getting my lenses cut the same day, as he was going on vacation and didnt want me to have to wait a few days. With top notch service and quality like this, they have made a customer for life.

Abe, Marla and Dr. Starr are absolutely amazing. I have never received better care anywhere. I was not able to find anyone to help me to find lenses and glasses that allowed me to see. I was getting bad headaches and was unable to see my phone or computer to get my work done. They generously took the time and had the patience to work with me and help me to find the right frames and make me the right lenses that are absolutely perfect and make me function at 100% again. They are so pleasant, efficient and kind. You get what you pay for and more. I highly recommend Personal Eyes - you will leave happy, be able to see again and look good too!
