Six months ago I purchased 4 new tires from this location. They also recommended two new axles, and an alignment, which I purchased. Five months later I needed to buy two brand new tires. They said that the alignment went out, perhaps I hit a pothole, so the tires were my responsibility, even though they were only a few months old. The next month I took the car to the dealership because there had been a clacking noise on turning right which had been occurring for about 6 months, and they told me I needed two new axles. The same two that had just been replaced 6 months ago by this location. I drive a mid sized passenger car, and I drive only to and from work, round trip 15 miles. Shoddy workmanship and products are my conclusion. You make up your own mind, but know that I warned you.

Update:My tire was fixed and there was no charge for the tire repair. My earlier review was based on the issued not being address initially and not the quality of repair. As for the quality of repair I would rate a 5. In fairness I would rate my overall experience a 3.Purchased tires here 15 months ago. Yesterday the tpms sensor came on indicating my rear right tire was in need of inflation. I stopped and overfilled the tire, knowing I had some 20 mile to travel. I went to this Pomona store. When I arrived there were no other customers. I explained that I had just added air to the tire and that it was deflating based on the cars tpms. I was told that his staff were doing a special project, therefore he just added air to the tires. Adding that if needed to return the following day. The next day the rear right tire was completely flat.After using the cars pump to inflate the tire I went back to American Tire. Now the wait is 3 hours to even look at the tire. I feel that the issue should have been addressed on my first visit. While I dont know the nature of the special project, I could see didnt involve tires. My time was wasted.

Would rate ZERO if I could. No one bother to even greet me but did care to stare my way. Waited for 5 minutes by my car, enough to walk around and access how bad my tire was, luckily not too bad, so I went elsewhere. Go to Americs Tire, better customer service EVEN when short staffed

Took my car in to have wheels balanced. When I returned they told me they fixed a flat. They never balanced the wheels. I took it to another shop and had six of the lugs seized up costing me 400$ to fix. This place is unreliable and will cost you more money than should be required.

I had a very good experience at this shop. The front desk employee was courteous and tend to my needs immediately, I went for tire rotations and wiper blades change, I only wait 40 minutes. Definitely this is my store for new tires!

I thought I was going to just have a tire patched, but my tire was in such bad shape, I was told I needed two new rear tires. I decided to get my tires somewhere else, but they remained friendly and professional and put air in the tire that had two nails in it and wished me a good day. Im very pleased that even though I didnt buy my tires from them, they were still very nice about it.

First the associate tried to charge me more for the oil change that was quoted to me over the phone. The associate even got an attitude and said he needed me to sign the agreement, so he could take his break. Then when I went out to my vehicle with him, he made some comment about my alignment and tires. Things you as the reader of this review should know:1. I got my tires looked at in July 2021 for a roadtrip and in April 2021 during an earlier oil changes. Both automechanic businesses said they were good and had enough tread on them.2. I am aware of my alignment and checked my steering wheel out this morning, while driving. My vehicle remained straight on the road.So, after the repairs I noticed my alignment was off. I cannot be certain that they messed with my alignment, but after the associates reaction to the price correction, I do not believe its a coincident.I hope management is reading this post, because I will not be returning to this establishment.

Dominic was so helpful today! My daughter had a blow out on the freeway and we were scrambling to find a place that could help with replacing her damaged tire and ultimately, all 4 of them. Over the phone, Dominic took our information on the tire size while we waited for a tow to the shop. We knew how much the tires were going to cost before the tow truck even arrived, and despite being very busy today, Dominic was able to squeeze my daughter’s car in and get her on her way in very quick fashion. The repairs cost less than what was originally quoted and what we had already agree to.Dominic, thank for everything you did to help us today!

Can we say YES to great customer service from the initial call, during, and post service?! My experience was great. I came in with a rear flat and Dominic took care of me ASAP. I was coming in after an oil change nearby and he said they could take care of that for me in the future. This is wonderful being that I moved to Pomona from LA and my trusty mechanic is there and I didn’t want to drive that far. So I asked about taking a look at my brake cylinder on another vehicle and Dominic is taking care of that too. I’m glad to have received great customer service, good prices, reliable work, and looking forward to getting my other vehicle back good as new.

Terrible service from the start.Left my lady’s car there with (Dave)Picked up car 3 hours later after an oil change and new tires.When I took my lady to pick up car when ready, I was driving behind her back home when her car was erratically shaking. Come to find the right front tire ((loose)).We called shop manager to complain of danger and he (Dave) said to drive it back to shop to fix, keep in mind the wheels about to fall off.Long story short, we refused and they sent out a technician in his personal car along with attitude to re secure wheel.I definitely called headquarters and complained, was aware of the incident and said very unprofessional.Not all locations are like this but be aware of this one.

Dominic runs the location with a professional manner and an eye toward making sure the customer gets the right tires at a fair price. I wanted to replace four tires on my daughters Jeep Wrangler with original Firestone Wrangler tires. Dominic went out of his way to find the tires and service our request quickly and professionally.

ETA: The tires I originally wanted were backed by a 60K warranty. These better tires recommended by Dominic were only backed by 3 months/3000 miles. I feel robbed and played for my money. I know this is partly my fault for not being as involved. I trusted Dominic knew best and that was helping me the best he could. $95 tire that is only backed by 3000 miles/3 months. I am extremely disappointed and hurt, as money does not come easily for everyone.Service was quick and easy. I did however have an issue with my tires not being in stock after having made my appointment 5 days before. Dominic, the sales associate, helped me. He promised me a lower rate for my tires after my tires have been sold. I did not receive the lower rate. I realize now that I should have mentioned this but its too late now as the payment was made. Please make sure to call in advance to make sure your tires are there. Even if you have a scheduled appointment with your tires picked out and everything, they may sell it out before your appointment time. This is my first time here and it was quick service. I just feel deceived with having to pay over $200 more than my estimated bill when I first scheduled an appointment. Partly due to my tires not being there and they replaced them with, obviously, more costly tires. As well as an added alignment after it was originally an alignment check for free, and then an alignment done for an added $99. Necessary costs, which should not have been necessarily that expensive. They did a great job, I could have gotten the same job done for a lot cheaper though, with the same quality.

I have brought my car here in the past for tires, and an alignment then recently just brought it back to have my breaks checked I spoke to Dave who was very profesional; he also showed me the issues with my breaks. My car needed front breaks and an axle had been cracked, in addition it needed a tune-up. I was short changed, and Dave gave me a discount. I was so relieved and am very grateful and thankful! I would recommend this place to anyone!!

Not very co-operative... Had a flat fixed a couple months ago, now that very same tire & wheel are at the bottom of a canyon, Im thinking the nuts werent tightened to specs, no receipt, because they dont provide one, so no proof of visit, now they manager talks about cost share? Not my fault this happened. So after 3 weeks of talks, finding parts... The man in question... Bought & installed 2 NEW tires... His cost... Satisfied... For now.. Distill need new studs... Im looking.....

Beware of the front desk salesman. I drove to Americas Tires at approximately 9 am a week ago. Dominic told me that I needed a new tire and that he would order it. I left my vehicle with him. At about 4 pm I called and was told my tire arrived and It was being put on. I arrived at 5 pm and that’s when Dominic told me that I needed a new wheel as well as a tire. I wondered why they had car for over 6 hours and just figured out I needed a new wheel ??? I asked if they sold wheels, he stated no, I asked him if he could just put my old tire back on and he stated no the tire is “No Good” and he further stated that my best bet was to leave my new Mercedes Benz at his shop and come back with a wheel. Long story short, my boyfriend had to come up to America’s tires and tell Dominic to put my tire back on to which he complied. End result ... I am still driving on the tire Dominic said was bad and I went to Wheel Cosmo in Azusa and received honest service. Beware of the front desk guy at Americas Tires, they’re salesman and probably get commission.

Dominic and his team went above and beyond to make sure I could get home. Went and picked up a tire from across town and stayed late to get me back on the road. Awesome customer service!!

Awesome!!! They fix my tire for free. I had a flat I didnt need a whole tire but they made the corrections put in a plug and they didnt charge me I highly recommend them they have good customer service there!!! If youre ever in Pomona stop at the American tire on foothill and ask for Dominic.

Horrible experience in this shop...Manager named Angel strung me along on a tire that needed replacement and was covered under roadside hazard for 5 DAYS! Only to find out that the Upland shop 4 miles away had my tire and they ended up taking care of me...I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ATD in Pomona. No doubt why the shop is empty!

The manager Dominic was very helpful, friendly, and professional. He endured that my vehicle was seen in a timely manner. The only disappointing thing is the discount between the Yelp online appointment reservation and the communication between the business. It’s not connected so if you make an appointment it doesn’t mean it’s actually available. You must call.

The manager was extremely helpful in getting two tires from another location in West Covina and I was in and out in two hours! Absolutely incredible service. Woke up to a flat tire. Jesse was super helpful and informative. Gave me fair pricing on 2 new tires. My brakes were way over due and I was surprised to learn that they are a full service shop. Had my breaks done and was out in less than a couple hours.

Fast service and Thomas took the time to explain the difference between the tires. He went and picked up the ones I was interested in and installed quickly and efficiently. Even honored a coupon from online for free wipers.

The manager Jessie was wonderful and has great customer service skills.The only issue was that my tire pressure system was not reset correctly and ended up taking it to another location that fixed the issue.That location was nearby.

It was awesome to have Alex to do my business. I was troubled since Costco could not change my tires since my car runs flat tires but the ones I’ve ordered were not run flat tires. He explained everything for me and was making sure I understood all of it. Alex is an awesome guy, friendly, and knows how to treat his customers. Another bait and switch victim. My wife was promised toyo tires with a 65,000 warranty. On the day of when they came to pick up the car they changed it up. Dominic said he had to check with his distributor (total bs), then pitched cheaper tires, used verbal judo to up sell another service and we are disappointed in the so called service we received. Ill be reporting this business to the BBB, and every potential customer who asks me where to get tires Ill tell them anywhere but here seeing as these predatory tactics are used.
