Long story short, this guy said he can change my struts. He took 12 hours to try to change them, and only was able to change the front 2 struts, not all 4 like promised. My car was the only car there for the day, and I know this because I was sitting there watching him for 8 hours after he said it’ll only take 2-3 hours.Once I left, I drove over the railroad tracks and I heard a loud pop. I said oh no. The next day I took my car to another shop, and they check this guys work. My car was missing an important bolt. I’m so glad I asked the other mechanic, or else I could’ve been in a horrible accident 😔. So dangerous! Guy needs to retire, or hire some help with real experience.

George has .many many years experience, hes helpfully and reasonable. If he cant fix it hell tell you. If you have a car ready to cook out dont fix it as you are going to be given the truth that it needs a lot of work. Mechanics have to make a living, their services are not free.

I took my car to apollo 11 when it had shut off,and wouldnt start.After they checked it they said it needed a starter.They replaced the starter and called me to say the starter was replaced it worked fine but that i needed a timing belt. They also asked if i had heard any noise before the car shut off, i said it shut off at a light, and was pushed out of traffic. I was told there was engine damage.Thats when i recall them telling me that they tried the starter,and it worked. Well i figured they started my car with out checking that it had a broken timing belt,and damaged the engine,I couldnt prove this,and ended up paying 1,300 dollars for the repair.I was given a receipt without any details to what was done to my car. My cars tail light had been broken too,and battery post cover lost.This place confirmed that you cant trust a mechanic,and if you find one,no matter how far you have to drive do it.Apollo 11 is unworthy of even one star. i just had to have my water pump changed because when they changed my timing belt, they didnt do the water pump.Seals were not changed nor gaskets.Question every thing,or even better dont go there.
