This company a Scam. They told me my computer was fine. Then I spent over $4000 replacing other parts when it was the computer all along. I do not recommend anyone go there. Worst service ever.

Bought a PCM for my 2000 Dodge Ram 1500. I installed it and had some issues that were not present with the original unit. They took it back on warranty and made repairs, which unfortunately didn’t fix the issue. I sent it back in and even though their testing of the new unit came up good, they voluntarily sent an entirely different unit as a process of elimination. My truck has been running perfectly with the second unit. Not many companies out there take this kind of ownership. Highly recommend them.

I had a great experience. The owners truly know how to handle customers and their vehicles with respect. I had a computer issue recently with my 2008 BMW X3 and I went to two other shops that told me the problem would be not be possible to solve and that I should give up on the car. After going to Auto Computer Specialist, they were able to provide me with a more than reasonable quote for repair as well as finally fixed the issue. Very thankful for their great service and ability to be a reliable source of assistance in a business where people can easily be taken advantage of! 5 stars for them and highly recommend :)

Went to these guys to fix my ECM and they had stand up service! Bob and JK came up front and told me not to buy a new one. Another shop tried to get me to replaxe it but i dineed too. AutoComputer told me to chage my Cam sensor before purchasing anything and guess what problem solved. thank u guys

Words cannot describe the joy I feel with a highly reputable, honest, friendly and helpful staff that this establishment has. I came in after I dealt with another shop in Margate that held one of my P28 computers for 2 weeks while the one in my car was still not running right. They told me that it would be ready in 24 hours than 48 hours than in a week. On and on and on. Than they tried to fix the one in my car piece meal. What a grave disappointment.Finally I found Robby and John thru Mobile Mechanix. The P28 I was told could not be fixed by Auto Computer Performance in Margate. Robby fixed it in 24 hours. Than he did the same with the one in my car. I was in shock when they called and it was ready for pickup and installation. I still had issues. The car (1993 Honda Del Sol) was running rough, running to rich and gas mileage was down. My mechanic tried to figure it out but couldnt. He said it was the computer. Took it back to Robby. He said the computer was fine. So lets take it over to DT Performance next store and have it diagnosed. Mind you, Robby doesnt have to go there. He has his own shop to work. But he took the time, energy and had the compassion to be concerned about me and my vehicle. He introduced me to the owner to DT Performance, George (Jorge). And his mechanic found out that my timing was off plus a few wires needed to be cleaned up. The timing belt had jumped two teeth. They fixed it. And now my car runs better than before the problem and better than it was new. My car has 319,000 miles on it.As a Pastor and a car enthusiast, it is very, very rare that you can find an establishment that is honest, fair in its pricing, takes pride in its work and is compassionate with the people they are doing business with! May God continue to bless them, protect them and prosper them.If you have a problem with your vehicle computer, PLEASE DONT go anywhere else. Have Robby and John take a look at it. You will be pleasantly surprised!

Do not buy from this company.... There are better ones out there that are honest...MY EXPERIENCE: This company when facing a return will do anything to rip you off when trying to return an item that doesnt work. I bought a ecm for a srx caddy and installed it and did not work. I went through there process of paying for a locksmith to troubleshoot. After a $100.00, the locksmith said and wrote on the invoice that it was not communicating with the car and said they can call him if needed. So sent unit back and they said that it worked fine on there equipment and that i was qualified for warranty. So i said ok refund my money. They said nothing about a 65% restocking fee. So when i got a refund of $160.00 when i bought it for $500!!!!!! I then asked to send me the unit and i would just keep it and they said sorry it was repackaged and being shipped to another customer. Thieves

Today I confirmed what I had thought all along, my ecm isnt working. I sent it in, got it back and my truck had worse issues. I tried to call, emailed and did not get a great response. We sent it back to be tested and told it worked at it should. This week I bought the same truck and swapped my repaired ecm into the new truck and its doing the exact same things. I wish I could have gotten the same customer service everyone else in the reviews talks about. Ill be buying an ecm for the truck we have been beating our heads against the wall about for over a year now.Update: Boy its easy just to say Im wrong and none of this happened. The new company we sent it to asked us what happened to the truck for us to send it in, we advised the truck was struck by lightning. They said the motherboard was burnt up, they said that was not from anything that could happen for trying to run the truck. I would be very careful, there are several of these places that do this, Mopar Man is running a list of people that have good luck with a company and this one is on the iffy list.

EDIT: I have attached my invoices from ACS who replied to this review claiming they have never dealt with me as a customer. I dont believe there is another Auto Computer Specialist located at the same address as I writing this review on. As of 9/3/2020 I have made multiple attempts to contact owners and been ignored every time. DO NOT UTILIZE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!Absolute worst customer service I have encountered in a very long time. ACS has no concept of time management and following through. I have had the unfortunate pleasure of dealing with ACS for the last two months trying to get my ECM, PCM, and wiring harnesses repaired and returned. They have miss quoted me by $300, blown through 3 different time lines and planned on not even telling me the price increase until I contacted them.They failed to ship my items on time on multiple occasions, it required me to contact them every time to ask why the products did not ship. At one point my boxes sat for three days before I called and ACS shrugged it off with no apologies, the customers time is not a concern of theirs.When my items finally shipped they sent me another customers harness instead, again no sorry. They told me they would call me back, another day went by with no call back until I made the phone call where they informed me of the mix up. Instead of ensuring our wiring harnesses where taken care of they relied on the customers to ship each others harnesses, I believe at this point I received my first and only apology. The last time I asked for an update the simple response was did you check the tracking number no follow up call like promised, nothing.Again terrible at time management and follow through on promises. Ive requested to speak with the owners 7 days ago and was told Id be contacted within 1-3 business days and its still yet to happen. Ive given ACS more than enough opportunities to make things right and Im still waiting for the phone call from owners. Ill be sharing my reviews across all Dodge Cummins websites that I am part of to hopefully save someone else the headache of dealing with ACS. I highly suggest you read other customer reviews before choosing this company and giving them your hard earned paycheck.

They were not able to fix my computer and when I went back to get my refund the guy came from behind the wall yelling and being very rude hen I told him Im not happy with the services you provided can I please have a refund his exact words were: oh you probably already ran out and bought another computer. I said I did not I need my refund so I can go buy another computer. He said: Were not Wal-Mart!!! No matter how rude he was I held my composer so I could get my refund n leave. Im no fool Im not gonna argue back n give you reason to keep my money. But NEVER EVER AGAIN!!

Very fast service! They fixed the ECM for my 1998 Ram with a 24 valve Cummins engine. Its works perfectly now. I highly recommend this business.

ECM came back with a fresh warranty

I send my ECM to be fixed, it was misfiring on #1, I made a mistake and wrote down #6 instead of 1. They said they fix #6 there was nothing wrong with #6. I sent it back to fix #1 and got charged again. when I got it back It was not fixed I sent it in for the 3rd time and got charged again,this time they decided to be the last time, so they drilled a big hole in it and the tried to weld on the microchip only to fry it and of course fried the whole ECM. By the way Im Electrical Engineer so I know what Im talking about. I tried to reason with them to give me some money back. The refused and blame it on the coils, which I had purchased just 3 months before all this, so I was not going to do that again. Also, I check the ECM without plugin the coils. For the record I bought another ECM from a junkyard and it worked fine that proofs that they burn my ECM. I got ripped off almost $400 only to fry my ECM. Thanks scam specialist.

It is hard to find honesty, especially in the auto industry. But Robbie the owner was very nice and seems honest. He was happy to answer all my questions and point me in the right direction. He even did a test for me that he should have charged me, but he said it was quick and not to worry about it. I wish he did more stuff with cars so Id have more opportunity to use him.

The ONLY place to go if you want your computer fixed. Unlike that other place in Davie, Fl, that will take your $$, waste your time, and then give you the run around. These guys know what theyre doing, know what theyre looking for, and know how to repair your computer. Theyre usually pretty quick about it too, unless your box is fried and u need a replacement they dont actually have on hand. Been dealing with these guys for years and Will continue to send them ALL of my computers. Very friendly/knowledgeable staff.Proper diagnostics should always be performed before replacing computers and that is where most transactions go wrong in any type of automotive repair business. Do your part, so these guys can do their job, and everyone wins.

I found this place from a friend after spending lots of time online looking to get my pcm repaired. They are local for me so that makes things easier and a faster turnaround. They are first off very friendly and knew exactly what i was looking to be done. Also they do not rip you off. They have the best prices i could find anywhere on the internet. I do recommend you call them they will not disappoint you.

These folks at ACS are amazing. They diagnosed my problem in one shot. They then offered me several directions and scenarios to go. I was expecting a diagnosis of doom, followed by a huge sales pitch for a new turbo or programmer which for a good deal they would install for me. I was pleasantly surprised to be proven wrong. In my case they said I could be down the road for a very minimal cost. And I was! These people are like family to me now!! I wouldnt go anywhere else

Paid $850 for a Dodge ECM. They sent me a faulty unit, which caused me time and money. Swapped another ECM on the truck, which fixed the issue. Sent their ECM back. It took 4 months to get a refund and they charged me $200 to Restock. Are you kidding me? DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE

Purchased a repair for a pcm on ebay and sent it to these petty thieves. They attempted to repair but did not test the unit prior to shipping. They do not test on an actual vehicle ; which most companies do. Contacted them about refunding me part of my money which they immediately shot down. Take your business somewhere else as they are not reasonable people. They will take your money and offer no returns or guarantee that the unit will work properly. legitimate companies try to make customers happy by negotiating with a customer but these people are petty.

Had a bad experience with this business. They were unable to fix my ECM after 3 tries. I drove from Miami to Plantation 3 times to have them tell me they could not fix and suggested I buy one at a salvage yard. They charged over 425.00 and never fix my ECM.

Sent me a rebuilt ECM but never sent the confirmation email which to me means pour follow up service. ECM are supposed to be robust but mine engine is miss-firing as a result of a bad ECM 15 months with very few miles on it. I need to figure out where else to send my ECM for a reliable repair.

After having a whole lot of electrical issues with my car, I was told it was probably my PCM and then was told about this company and decided to try them out. When I walked in I was greeted by Robbie and his staff who were very knowledgeable which ledt me feeling confident that the issue would be resolved. Within 24 hours Robbie had a beautifully refurbished computer and instructed me on the proper way to install it in my vehicle to avoid damaging it. He also went out of the way to refer me to another reliable company to come reprogram my car keys. The PCM that Robbie and Daisy gave me fixed me problems and got me back on the road! In all honesty, I hope that the only vehicle problems I ever get are computer issues so I can come back and do more business with them. They saved me time, money and most importantly, alot of frustration! Thanks Auto Computer Specialist! You made it easy!
