Great place if you like being put on hold by the computer voice and never talking to a human. I gave up after twenty minutes.

Pros: It was easy to make a reservation & the staff I interacted with were all polite and professional.Cons: Since I had made a reservation, it would have been nice to have the truck pulled out. The inside of the cab had obviously not been cleaned out since the last use. Expect better cleaning during a pandemic.

I had made a reservation for this specific location for a 20 inch truck. Unfortunately I live 50 minutes away but it was the only location that had this size available. I arrived 15 minutes early for pickup for them to tell me after I arrived that I would not be able take the 20 footer since the previous renter returned it with a flat. Why would they not call me to let me know that? They accommodated me with a 17 footer and 10 dollars off my rental. I asked if I could drop it off a different location but they did not offer that service for these trucks, I was told. Although the 50 minute drive would have been worth it for the 20ft it was not worth it for the 17. We had a lot of big furniture pieces and appliances to move and to tetris it all in there was incredibly annoying and time consuming. Not to mention the extra miles for a smaller truck. It was just a disappointing experience.

Robert was amazing!!! He was so helpful and knowledgeable, and went above & beyond to help us with what was a very precarious move. David was also awesome!! We cannot thank them enough for their help and commitment to excellent customer service. We HIGHLY recommend U-Haul of Arcadia to everyone!

Perfect service. Also, upon return of our Uhaul van, we found our car battery was dead. The manager, Robert, and his colleague David Pucker went out of their way to find jumper cables and start our car. Will be using this Uhaul location again, definitely recommend a promotion for both of them.

The automated check in process was a joke. It took me 25 minutes of waiting. It would have been quicker to go to the front desk. And when I talked to the front desk about speeding it up, they said they couldnt do it. Someone had to call a reference (my son, who was with me) and that could have been done when I set up the reservation. Frustrating that your technology slowed things down...high user friction.

Uhaul is the most expensive place to get propane, but it’s the only one open on the weekends. However, that doesn’t really matter if they don’t even have any available. The worker was rude to inform us of that. Don’t waste your time. Even if it’s hard to find time during the week give a company that deserves it your business.

My husband and I rented a 15 foot truck from U-Haul of Arcadia and it is the best location I have ever used for renting anything. When I went in and reserved the truck, a very sweet young woman helped me make the reservation very easily. The next morning, we picked up the truck from the manager, Austin, who could not have been nicer or more accommodating. He did everything he could to help us get what we needed and on the road to Prescott! Austin seems like he does everything from running the front desk to cleaning trucks when they return and therefore is Manager of the Year in my book! This is a full service location with people that really care about you and the safety of their trucks. They also make sure you have everything you need...moving is fun...said no one ever. However, Austin and U-Haul of Arcadia are there to make sure it can be as pleasant as possible! Please go to this location the next time you need a U-Haul or just moving supplies in general! Great people!

They required me having both vehicles there stating they needed to connect the car dolly and load the car on the dolly. After a lot of hassle on the computer and then waiting in the heat, they connected the car dolly to the tow vehicle. After another 30/40 minutes, I was tired of waiting, loaded my own vehicle, secured it and left. One employee watched me but never came over to lend a hand or even check to see of it was connected properly.

Had truck for less than an hour before learning my moving help cancelled on me. Called the uhaul location and was told I could reschedule without being charged again. Returned truck and finalized bill before being told I will have to pay everything twice. Truck was in terrible condition, engine stalled every time it down shifted.

The staff at Arcadia were wonderful and helpful. I would go back, and I highly recommend (especially in COVID times).I will say that the U-Haul App to check in the van after hours needs a review. I spent more than 15 minutes at 11pm, taking photos of the interior, allowing access to my location, clicking buttons, taking photos of the odometer and fuel gauge, and then I would get sent back to the start of the applications process (got sent back numerous times and just gave up ... I left with a phone that had several interior photos of your van). Had to come back at 7 am to close the deal.

When I called on 9/7/2020, I was met by a very rude women. Her name is Debby, or Debbie, however you spell it. Anyway, her tone was very condescending and she was incredibly rude. The conversation didn’t last long, but then she hung up on me. She was complaining in a way where hated her job, so maybe she should just get fired anyway

Austin Gullett is the General Manager at Uhaul in Arcadia. Our Christmas packages were accidentally sent to this address. Austin not only held our packages but researched finding me on facebook to ensure that we got them! They were super friendly, professional and a very clean and tidy storefront. I am so grateful and will refer my friends here when this service is needed - Austin went above and beyond and proved to me that there are still good people out there helping each other!

After a 15 year career in the Marines, I have had a broad spectrum of experience with moving companies. Tiffany was one of the most friendly and helpful team members I have ever had in working with U-Haul. She was helpful in helping me decide the amount of supplies for me to purchase and then helped me carry everything out to my car.

I have been coming here for over 3 years to refill propane tanks. I always receive a prompt and friendly greeting. Im sure the couple bucks I spend here is not contributing much to the business but I am always treated like Im a valuable customer. Thanks Austin!

I rented a truck from here and I was sent to a drop off location that doesnt exist. Im in southern Goodyear, theres nothing here, so I had to drive a few miles to the drop-off site. They sent me to a bar/pub with nothing around but dirt. The next uhaul dealer on Google Maps doesnt exist either (Litchfield rd. South of I-10), its a residential block. Update your locations, more importantly it is YOUR OWN system that needs to be updated, not just in Google Maps. I wasted half of my morning driving around, adding miles to my cost, just looking for the nearest uhaul location. I called customer service, each rep that I talked to had no idea about what I said to the previous rep. do they talk to each other? That was another sub-level of frustration.I will never use uhaul again, I was furious that day, driving your rig around with nowhere to go, being financially liable and responsible for securing the vehicle drop-off, while I was being provided poor customer service and zero guidance... Yea, never again. I wanted to cancel my card and just leave the truck where you told me to leave it in the first place, but one of us has to be the adult and do things the right way.I still have to visit the rep that sent me on a wild goose chase, I wont be so cordial to her/him (whatever it wants to identify as) when I see it.

Piss poor service today. Went to this location approximately 3 weeks ago they had a paper sign on their propane placard stating no propane. So I disappointedly went across the street to Sinclairs and had to pay more but at least they had gas.Today I went to this location to get propane. Same sign still there, no propane. I look across the parking lot and I see the owner, Austin is cleaning a truck. I pull up. And ask him when hes going to get propane again. He says, we have propane.And I said no you dont, not according to that sign. A puzzled look crossed his face and he just stands there.I had to actually ask for him to get me propane.Reality sets in and he has the audacity to tell me I have to wait while he finishes cleaning a truck. WTH. I am a paying customer right here, right now and youre going to make me wait while you clean a truck. There are several trucks the same size. That truck could have waited.So I figure ok. Ill wait a minute as I look up the location to write this review.I guess reality struck again and he realized that maybe the truck can wait.He walks over giving me some disjointed story about only being gone for 10 days or something and no one there is certified.I tell him its been about 3 weeks since I needed propane and came by. But wants to argue with me.Maybe he didnt realize the sign has been there. I dont know.Of all the years I have been going there. Austin has never been like this.Now I have to worry if Im going to get the same the next time I need propane.

Just keep Austin at this location. He is excellent and exceedingly helpful.

Helpful as im purchasing a rental. Once we get back and let them know the trailer they installed came off and damaged my tailgate, now no one knew what do. Someone was going to call, 4 days later still no call. I will be going into the office to make sure my tailgate is fixed. Ill update later.

Really disappointed that I couldnt return a $15 furniture pad that is clearly defective. They said they don t take used products, I had a receipt and the pad was falling apart in my hands. The clerk said call corporate! I think the Shoen family would be very unhappy with the way I was treated and if this is the type of cheap product they sell shame on them. Its absolutely useless. I will never rent or shop there again. No customer service left in this country!!

Long wait and poor service. 3 employees helping one patron. I had a reservation and answered all the same questions I answered when I made the reservation. Wanted a trailer to move a queen bed and was told this specific trailer would work. It did not. When I returned the trailer, I was asked if everything was ok. I showed him it says on the trailer queen bed fits but the movers couldnt get mine in. The employee said well thats false advertising! Ill mention it to the manager. I told him nothing will change now - the trailer did not do what I was told it would. Nobody has contacted me still, not surprising.

Computers down and would not accommodate a cash payment for about $40 of boxes and other supplies. Defies common sense and from a customer service perspective just a bad bad decision.

I had a reservation set at 8:30am. I arrived early at 8:20am to pick up the vehicle, I did not leave uhaul until 9:15 with the vehicle. There was only one other customer in the shop at the same time as myself. Poor service. Seemed like technology held up employee.
