A Pleasure in this day and age to find a man of his word. Vehicle (this case a Ford F250) was as advertised. Being the vehicle was used, Randy showed the negative (minor details dealing with the body) as well as the positives. Was just looking over his website to see his inventory as my girlfriend got her permit finally at age 42 lol, and seen hes had issues with someone pretending to be his shop causing him bad reviews. Ive bought 3 cars from this place over the last 2 years and every time the service was great and all 3 cars (PT Cruiser, Malibu, Focus Wagon) were in showroom new condition, and running great when I left with them. My dad and I visited the shop on November 14th and met with Randy who worked with us on getting the 05 Chevrolet Malibu Maxx. He was very responsible, respectful and showed us all the CARFAX report. The drivers seat track was messed up and Randy notified us that it would be fix by Monday or Tuesday. He kept in contact with my dad and I received my car that Tuesday November 17th, ON MY BIRTHDAY! Got a 2005 Hyundai Tucson January 2017. Car is still running well and getting me where I need to go, but it was sold to me with a broken AC compressor. It was cold in January so the air was cold but when I went to use it in May/June it was coming out hot, I got it checked and was told the AC compressor was shot and that it needs new back struts as well. Definitely a big disappointment when I found out because everyone there was so nice I couldn’t believe it. Great SUV! but the maintenance wasn’t accurate!!

Good mechanic there its the only place i take my car.

I bought a CRV from Randy and Damar cars and would highly recommend them. Compared to the dealers I visited they were very straight forward and competent. Randy and a local tag shop helped me navigate a complicated situation with getting my temporary license that the dealers were unable to solve and unlike the dealers who tried to charge $350 for documents, we were able to do it for $60. The car was an unbelievable price compared to the market value and I have yet to find a problem after 2 weeks of use. The staff was incredibly friendly and competent.

Bought my 2009 Chevy Impala LTZ from Randy at Damar Cars. The car was just as described if not better. It was already inspected with brand new tires and no maintenance needed at all. Its been about 6 months since I picked up the car and noticed that my passenger side heated seat did not work. I called Randy who even though sold me the car as is found me a whole new seat and sold it to me at cost and installed it for me for extremely cheap. He stands behind his cars and also is awesome to go to for getting your car fixed!! This place is an excellent one stop shop if your looking for a car or need work done to your own car.

Very positive experience. We were looking for a very specific vehicle and found a 2011 Rav4 V6 Limited at Damar. The two-hour trip was worth it to us because the vehicle was exactly as advertised. The Damar personnel were honest, helpful, and very courteous. We placed a down payment and could not return for two weeks because of work schedules. My husband updated them on our schedule during the two weeks and every phone call was met with courtesy and positive information. When we returned we found the vehicle had been garage kept just like promised and the paperwork transition was very easy and smooth. We left the dealer with a great vehicle and no regrets. From our experience I would recommend if you are looking for a used vehicle to check Damar before you purchase anywhere else.

Bought my 2008 Honda Fit from Damar recently and Randy was incredibly helpful from the first call. When I arrived I did not feel pressure to buy and was able to take my time with the car. The car had sporty, very extra wheels on it that I did not want, as well as tinted windows. After expressing that I didnt want those features, Randy said hed switch out the wheels/tires, and remove the tint for no extra charge. He stayed in touch throughout the process, and I felt very in the loop. Just today, about a month later, he called to say he found an extra key to my car and dropped it in the mail for me. I highly recommend Damar cars. Trust me, I drove all the way up there from West Philly twice and it was very much worth it!

Damar Cars sold me a great car at an amazing price. Staff was super friendly, down to earth, and incredibly helpful. They even noticed my boyfriends tires were flat and filled them for him while I was waiting to pick up my new car. I live 45 minutes away and needed to come after work to finalize everything and they waited for me even though I arrived just after business hours, and were willing to accommodate my tight schedule. Just little things like that showed me they really pay attention to customer service and doing good business. The car runs great. They tuned it up before selling to me and made sure it had a clean inspection. Interior was immaculate. No complaints about the car, it was exactly as described in Autotrader. I worked with Joseph regarding the paperwork and finalzing the sale, and he was so nice, very communicative, kept me updated regarding the car and my financing, and he was prompt in answering any questions I had. I would recommend Damar Cars to anyone in need of a trustworthy mechanic. I have used them every time I have needed a mechanic over the last 6 years. I have referred many people to them and all have called and thanked me. The prices can’t be beat and he will work with you if he has wiggle room to do so. They have done everything to my vehicles from oil changes and breaks to a new transmission and detail work. My most recent experience was the best. I got into an accident and my car needed a lot of work. Randy handled all of it for me including with the insurance company. When I got the car back he had vacuumed and wiped down the insides for me. (It was bad inside I have 3 little kids!) He made my car look better than it did before the accident and was quick with getting it back to me. I was told once a vehicle is in an accident it never looks or drives the same but that is not the case. Also my vehicle is a lease and after the accident I was worried I would be charged for the damages when it comes time to turn it in but my car looks brand new so I have nothing to worry about. I have been driving it for a month now and haven’t had a single problem with it. The whole experience was great and I want to thank you for also being there. I know I’m not getting ripped off and your employees Joe and Kenny are courtesy and helpful. I have not used any other mechanic in the last 6 years and would not use another one moving forward.

I bought my car (2009 Carolla LE) here with a much lower price for a used-car at this level of mileage (around 50k miles), and Randy is such a nice guy who considerably picked me up every time I arrived at the train station, until I finally bought the car. He did more than a dealer could do, and he walked me through every possible step for transferring a title, and even did the emission test for me. After that, when one of the ignition coil has some malfunction (Which is not his fault), he asked me to drive here and fixed that problem for me for free. He is more responsible and reliable than a big dealer who always talked you into buying a low-quality car.

Randy was a fair guy. fixed all the things on the car on the spot and felt good about buying a car from him. Would recommend him for sure if you find something you like.

I had a good experience. I Bought a 2014 Dodge Avenger with very low miles and Joe and Randy helped me through every step. I noticed the car was missing a washer fluid tank and another part and Randy replaced it and cleaned up my car the same day. Even so, about 30% of the reviewers rated these scam artists ONE star (11 one star reviews out of 37 total = 30%). I am extremely dissatisfied with my experiences here. The owner is arrogant, rude, disrespectful, and highly deceptive. These people are backbreakers. Avoid this business at all costs. You have been warned.

Excellent buying experience. Purchased a 2000 BMW 323ci with 98K miles on it. Market value between $7k-$7.5k, they were only asking $5k. Incredibly low mileage for the age/model of this vehicle and the engine and interior were in incredible shape. There were a few cosmetic dings as would be expected from a low-priced used vehicle, but nothing that cant be fixed with a new coat of paint (no actual structural damage, just some scratches on the front and rear bumper). Overall, incredible value at this price point.I also couldnt ask for better service than I received. I had dropped by on a Saturday knowing they werent technically open but hoping I could check out the vehicle anyway. As it turned out, two employees were on the premises and were incredibly helpful. They put me in the car to test drive right away. When I asked to run some on board data tests using my wireless OBD module they quickly obliged and were patient with me as I combed through the maintenance records they had provided for the vehicle. When I finally made my decision to buy, they called the owner of the establishment and he actually drove over from his home to accommodate an immediate sale.I have to admit that I was at first skeptical after seeing the very low price online, but after very thoroughly checking out the car and all of the records provided I realized I had found a really great deal. The way the staff treated me and acquiesced to my very anal requests while checking everything out also showed they had confidence in the integrity of the car I was purchasing, which I think is a big deal. There was no shadiness or shifty selling tactics, and they were incredibly friendly and patient in every regard.

I needed to buy a good car because my mom was turning 92 and was searching the internet when i came across DAMAR, There Represenative Randy called me back and was extremely courteous and informative. But most of all he was HONEST ... which is not well known in the used car industry.I was very nervous about just buying a car over the internet and not from someone that we know or was Refered to us since it was our first car we purchased over the internet.Randy explained the car that I was interested in which was a mercury marqui, was in“excellent shape”. I decided to drive from Toms River to his location that was very conveniently located in north east Philadephia. When we arrived we saw the car and where very surprised that it was as in perfect condition as it was and as a matter of fact it was the perfect car ! We first met KENNY and he was real real HELPFULL. I also looked at some of the other cars that where there and then met Joe.Joe was also very helpful and he was able to finish our paperwork very easily and quickly so that we could get back to work in New Jersey.The other cars that we saw there where all in excelent shape and it’s as Damar buys the cars to sell as if it was going to owm and driven for themselves and like it’s for there own family instead of just selling them. I came there a few weeks ago and randy showed me a few cars. I didnt like the car that i initially came to look at but i saw another. Randy was helpful and not too pushy like some dealers. I came back about 2 weeks later to test drive a ford taurus that i saw on my first visit. They were just about to close but they accommodated me. I test drove it and was happy with it. I got an excellent deal on a Harley Davidson at Damar. But, there were a couple of things that bothered me a little. Nothing so bad that I wouldnt recommend doing business there. But definitely worth mentioning. First, the bike was listed as a 1990 Fatboy when, in fact, it was a 1990 FXSTC Softail Custom. The other was that he refused to accept anything but cash. The card machine was apparently down, although Im certain he would have insisted on cash anyway. PayPal would have been really convenient and pretty much the same as cash but that was a no go as well. Anyway, overall I would recommend buying here but be aware of the limitations and look out for the slick sales techniques

Bought a 98 Econoline van from Randy in the beginning of summer,2016... I CARFAXd it.. 1 owner,only 54,000 original miles ..clean as a whistle.! Only thing was some (what I would call) surface rust on some of the heavy suspension parts. He gave me a great price,fixed for free a few minor issues that my own mechanic found...and just recently,in the beginning of October,he fixed( for cost..! )a stuck blend door that controls the temp on the heat/air conditioner... I would recommend him highly....

Tried to sell me a used car on ebay. Damage to rear bumper was not described in listing or shown in pictures. When I went to buy, the car had an empty gas tank and inspection sticker was 6 months expired. Refused to return my $500 PayPal deposit. I will be reporting this business to the FTC. Zac was the name of the salesman and he was rude and obnoxious. Buyer beware.
