Usually take my car here and get great service. Read some reviews they said quick and easy but I always make an appointment. Going tomorrow morning on short notice cuz Im working the election polls today and tonight so cant call for appointment. I am a semi regular and want to see how quickly and easily this will be. ?? I had a great experience with Shinder Auto from the moment I called to ask a few questions till the moment I walked out the door. Realized my PA state inspection expired when I saw the ticket on my windshield. Called Shinder Auto at around 5 PM on a Wednesday and they said no problem come right in. My car is 2017 and doesnt have any issues so I was hoping none would pop up based on the horror stories I have heard about state inspections. No problems here! Plus they were super fast, I was out in 30 minutes! I definitely recommend this place and they said they could be flexible on their hours if you need to bring your car in after work.

I just came in the other day and got some work done on my 09 Mazda CX-9. They were awesome!! The car got done by the end of the day as promised, they even called to let me know the issue we thought it was turned out not to be the problem, it was actually a much cheaper problem to fix (the difference of $125) so I was very shocked at their honesty with the problem my car was having because it saved me $125 that I really didn’t have!! I have found my new mechanic thanks Ed!!

I have a older honda and I know nothing about cars which makes it difficult to find a mechanic/shop to be honest with me about the problems with it. I came here the other day and one of the guys named Ed helped me and explained everything to me in a way I’d understand. Everyone was friendly and professional as well. Finally found a spot where I know I’m not getting ripped off!

Great business was my first time there and got my A.C charged, was attended as soon as i got in by the guy Ed at the front desk. It took them about 30 minutes and the guy working on it introduced himself and handed me back my keys he was super friendly and assured me if any issues occured hed glady fix it. Bryan has now become my favorite auto technician and my go to guy.

I had to call the COPS on these losers .. So I pulled up in there lot with my CHECK ENGINE LIGHT OFF nothing wrong with my car no sounds no nothing .. FAT LADY at the window treated me with the upmost RESPECT (Probably just wanted my MONEY ) .. After 10mins waiting ( They took my car into there work area ) another 10mins goes by he pulls back up with my car and say I failed because my ( Turbo Exhaust Pipe ) needs to be replaced so the air and oil flow can get through.. So I paid $68.40 all together and I left to get my problem situated so I can be able to pass my (EXPECTATION) The place is located off the corner of ( 26th and Thompson ) I get to ( 30th and Allegheny ) My car was making loud noises like it was a baby in there screaming I rush back to the shop and that FAT LADY who was behind the window disrespected me in all ways telling me move my car off there property I’m not getting no refund I explain my car situation well I tried she said she don’t care so I took matters in my own hands and called the cops ..Long story short ;I will never in a million years send my family, friends partner or whoever go here .. I believe they did something to my car and tried to steal my part I have a 2011 Buick Regal CXL nice car low miles with all GM PARTS !!!I should’ve never tried to be fast I should’ve just went to my dealership to get my damn expectation done .. The sound went away on it’s own I’m still gone get it checked out and the problem on my car will be getting fixed by the GM DEALERSHIP THEY CAN HAVE THAT $64.80

This shop doesnt even deserve a one star rating. This particular shop has cost me well over $6,000 and my Ex about $7,000 within the last year. Their work is just crap. They continuously have unlicensed mechanics working on vehicles and it leads to them screwing with your car creating further damage just so you have to return it back to them so they can continue draining your wallet. After taking my car elsewhere and having the problems they created properly fixed I now know I was scammed by Shinder Auto Repair. Proper authorities have been recently contacted and they are looking into shutting this place down. Also a lawsuit is soon in the works. In the meantime please everyone Beware of this place.
