Drew had the daunting task of repairing and refinishing most of our custom-built kitchen. He repaired splitting doors and splitting side panels, refinished many surfaces and did a fantastic job all around. And was tidy and punctual! Prices are very reasonable.

Drew is a true artist who loves his craft. Every job he has done for me had outstanding results. He has over-delivered for me every time. Thanks Drew!

Drew created custom shelves for an 18th century vitrine. (The originals had been lost in shipping.) When the new shelves didn’t fit quite right, Drew came to our home and sanded them down until they did. Great craftsmanship and a reasonable price for specialty work!

I hired Drew to build a black walnut enclosure for an electronics project Ive been working on. Drew not only completed the enclosure in a timely fashion, but did an outstanding job that I couldnt be happier with. Drew is down to earth and friendly, but most importantly, a good listener as well. I will definitely hire Drew for future projects and will recommend him highly.

We asked Drew to build AV shelves for a very small alcove / divot in our living room wall. He did an amazing job. He consulted with us at length before building the pieces. He suggested a number of types of wood and hardware for the job, and gave us great advice about which would be best. Ultimately, he selected a beautiful cut of wood and ordered the perfect hardware. The installation went very smoothly: he arrived on time, had precisely cut the shelves to specification, and did a perfect job with our tricky south philly walls (dry wall? Concrete? Wood? Oh yes). He was communicative, responsive to all of our questions and offered helpful and accurate information. We absolutely love the final product (the shelves are so beautiful) and he made the process a pleasure.

I have a bench that my uncle made my mother probably 2 decades ago. She gave it to me when I went to school. Over the years it’s taken a beating, the finish rubbed off, it had burn holes in it. I never even thought it could be restored till a friend mentioned Drew. Drew was very professional and prompt, I emailed him and he got back to me that day. We had plans for him to pick up the bench within the week, and he had it back to me within another week or so of that. He sent me progress pics and kept me in the loop. When I got it back?! I almost didn’t recognize it. It looked almost more new than when my mom had originally gotten it. I can’t express how appreciative I am of his work, my mom sent a picture of it to my uncle and he’s all excited, it’s become a family heirloom now. Thanks Drew!

As a transporter who works with fine furniture, we understand that accidents happen occasionally. I had a $3,000 table that was gouged pretty deep & the first site was that it was a total loss. After being connected with Drew at Lynford Woodshop, he not only did a great job with fixing the table, he restored it like new. Immaculate. He surprised my clients & myself by his work, and the affordability, and timeliness with full restoration being completed in less than a week. I cant thank him enough for the outstanding work & professionalism that was shown throughout the process from start to finish. Thank you again for everything-Matt, Total Transport

I met Drew Lynford after collaborating on a few upholstery projects a few years ago. Just recently, I hired him to transform a chair for a recent fundraiser I participated in. Designers were asked to take a dilapidated piece of furniture and turn it into a quality piece that would be auctioned off to help fight homelessness. I knew that Drew would be the right partner for this project. He is truly a master woodworker and finisher who has a great amount of skill, integrity and professionalism. If you want a family heirloom restored or a new piece of furniture built to your specs, Drew will do this with care and precision. Everything he touches turns to gold! Thank you Drew for the amazing job you did on my chair!
