I cannot say enough positives about this company. They have redone a French Art Deco chandelier for me and done repair of damaged sterling forks that of course were better than when they were new.Recently I took in a candelabra, French Art Nouveau that over the years had become bent and wonky. They were able to bring it back to its Belle Epoch glory and at the same time redid a silver bowl.When I went to pick up these items, I had two other items I inquired about and Chris was quite frank in asking me if they meant anything to me since the cost would be quite high to redo. I appreciated his honesty and thus will continue to patronize this fantastic business.

They silver plated some old heirloom knives and soldered a pewter stein: stunning work. On picking them up I dropped off some European lamps for updating to US sockets. Love this place; such a good feeling there.

What makes Philadelphia different from New York is the store like Chelsea Plating.I no longer live in the area, but it still is a pleasure to visit them and have some works done after 20 years. They are the artisans and craftsmen of the first caliber who works with their own hands and mind, and above all with their trusting hearts. I thank you for being after all these years!!!

Did phenomenal job refinishing 200 year old sterling, ornately scrolled candlesticks, various other sterling pieces, and brass components on a crystal lamp.

Kept raising the price. Very unprofessional, watched the gentleman talk an elderly person into an unecessary cleaning. Owner told me he just eants to make as much as he can. Sends most of the actual work out to be done at other businesses but charges more. Id say to avoid this business i had several very bad experiences here beware.

The tea service was handed down to me by my grandmother and mother. I used it for many years and handed it down to my daughter. It was in serious need of tender loving care, which Chelsea Plating Company provided as you can see by the before and after pictures. I cannot thank them enough.
