Was gonna deduct a star for pricyness but the great service and wide selection of items makes up for it .A old man like me will pay extra to be entertained by the cool stuff they sell get lost in the isles treasure hunting .

Good shopping experience. Needed some stihl equipment and these guys were the only ones open this late on Saturday. They dont have everything I was looking for, but what I was able to get will get me through the weekend jobs I have ahead. One of the gentlemen even offered to order anything else I needed. Very good

Great place, having a wide variety of do it yourself goods and hardware makes this one of the few places I come to.Friendly staff, sometimes overly busy and dont ask if you need help when your clearly lost but most of them are young and so I can excuse that.Because the ones who do ask are very quick to take you straight to what your looking for.Would Recommend this place to anyone.

This place is the worst, not only can you not get any help, and the only reason I have purchased anything for there is there close to home, but everything I have purchased the girls at the register charge over charge at least three times the items cost, I no! Last thing I bought was a tolite auger, mind you $599 everywhere else, the price there was $799 and she charges me $23,00, and it was defected and its was broken calling manenger tomorrow,STOP POCKING MY MONEY!!!

Really convenient place. Way easier than the bigger stores to get in and out fast with what you need. Staff was really helpful directing me to where the plumbing hardware was and even specifically when I said I needed a rubber boot, that was on the next isle.

The place to go if you need just about anything hardware wise.... Could spend lots of time just thinking of all the things to do with all the items in there... Great, helpful staff.

Been going to this place for years. Bought some bolts the previous day but needed one shorter. Came and asked if i can exchange a brand new bolt for a shorter one. Was told they cant without a receipt. Could have used something called customer service especially with repeat customers that keep your business going. Will not be dealing with this place any longer.

Yes while you may pay a little more than the big box stores, the customer service here has the small home town feel.

This place is open for business on a icy and snowy day and they don’t even put salt or sand on their sidewalk or parking spots. My dad fell completely down and hurt himself because your business does not follow the safety protocols if you’re going to be open on a bad weather day. You obviously don’t care about your customers safety!

Bought a lock at 5pm that Saturday not knowing i had on so I came in the next morning at to return it but misplaced my receipt. Manager was rude and arrogant saying nope cant help you, last time I will go there. Back to Home Depot at least better customer service

Making a direct comparison to Reds Hardware on Pasadena Blvd, this place definitely has more retail products to choose from. It is packed inside and out with a broad selection. The level of employee engagement isnt the same or as hands on which is where Reds wins. Prices do seem to be lower which is a plus, but still sky high compared to Home Depot. If you dont mind a high schooler to help you solve your home improvement project, then selection and fast friendly checkout are solid here, just too expensive. My only gripe is slim parking, and with over 10 employees i counted on a 5pm weekday, I didnt get hands on service and wandered aisle to aisle searching for 5 minutes until I had to approach an associate. Im all for supporting local business, but not if it costs 200% more than Home Depot which has curbside pickup and free delivery.

I was able to locate my items very easily because the store was nicely organized and clean. The cashier was rude and was to busy talking to an employee that was leaving 3 different times I started to say something she spoke over me each time and ignored my question. Once her convo was done she never even acknowledge Me just told me my total and that was it. Horrible customer service.

Hoping to save a wasted trip, I called ahead and asked if they had a particular item and the employee answering the phone assured me that they did. When I got to the store all four employees said they did not have it. When I told them that someone on the phone had assured me they did have it, they all denied being the person who told me that. I said I had made the phone call only 15 or 20 minutes before and asked if any employees had left before I got there. They said no one had left. None of them seemed particularly interested. I was glad to see this old time hardware store open because it would probably provide much better personal service than the big box stores. I guess not.Four months have passed since I wrote the above review and it seems little has changed regarding the service in this store. Today brought in a large package to have shipped. I carried it to the shipping counter where a man was looking down at his phone. After getting no response for a moment I asked him if he worked there. He mumbled that he did and continued to look down at his phone. A moment later I asked if I was standing in the right place and he mumbled something and pointed a few feet away. I moved to where he had pointed. Finally he started making an entry in the computer. When there was no response after a couple of minutes I told him I had a small dog out in the car and asked if he had any idea how much longer it would take. He mumbled that he didnt know. Then another employee, who had been standing nearby and also staring down at his computer, came over, said something to the first employee, and began making entries in the computer. When again there was no response after two or three minutes I went out to the car and brought my small dog inside. After a few more minutes I asked this second employee if they could perhaps email me a receipt for the package. He didnt respond. After a few more minutes he said if I would give him my email address that he would email me a receipt. I did and left. I actually received an emailed receipt about 30 minutes later so I think their service may be improving.

They’re supposed to close at 7PM, I went at 6:35PM and they were closed. The girl just stood at the register on her phone and was like sorry we’re closed. And cars were pulling up and leaving mad because im sure they needed to buy some things also. They just lost my business. I don’t mind paying more for my stuff but not any more. I take the extra 10 mins to Home Depot.
