Great selection of merchandise! A lot of fun to walk around this store and browse their stuff. Saw many different kinds of shoes I wanted. Was hard to choose. Most shoes run from $20 to $50 or so. They have frequent sales and coupons. Saw some nice looking swimsuits and trunks on sale.You can probably find what you need here! Good location and pleasant helpful staff. Well be back.

I went in to try and find at least a pair of tennis shoes and not even sure if I was going to find what I was looking for since I had already been shopping for a few weeks online and in-store. Thankfully I found a pair and I actually ended up buying 3 pairs of shoes really nice ones just my style. I was surprised at the great deals they have on shoes. The staff members are great and very helpful and so nice!! What a relief... Very satisfied customer 😃!

Small place but had a decent amount of sporting goods stuff unlike another store I went to where it was huge but just had a lot of clothes and not much actual sports equipment.

This location, while not huge in size, seemed to have a pretty good stock of products. Appeared popular with customers, a lot of people were there, which is a good sign. Staff was friendly, said Hi! when we entered and Thank you! when we were exiting, which was kinda nice. There seemed to be enough staff there to help customers, which is unusual these days!Dressing rooms dont have locks on doors(?), so someone may walk in on you ---which happened to me. Strange decision by management.Also, parking lot is somewhat small and tightly spaced. Cannot enter lot if youre going East on Colorado, because street has median barrier. You must be going West on Colorado, or North on Rosemead Blvd. --enter by alley behind building (which had an overflowing garbage dumpster).Rosemead Blvd. also has median barrier. Fun!

I really enjoy shopping at Big 5 all the sporting goods needs that one can find any central location unlike having a shop at one of your big department stores.

Tl;dr - Great prices and many choices!Came here to buy a Spalding basketball since NBA will be switching to Wilsons in Fall 2021. Wanted to pick one up while it still has NBA logo on it. Lots of options to pick from (types and sizes). Ended up choosing a white marble basketball. Probably the coolest design Ive ever seen. Also, $2 cheaper than Target.

This big5 has seen my footsteps for at least 20 years..Glad they kept this location open and remodeled. I had a fishing license voucher that I needed to redeem and it was done quickly.

Very selfish woman is working here. Fooling others for her own benefit. Shame on you. I never wrote reviews before but here we go. Dont ever call this place to ask a question expecting the truthful answer. I just wasted 30 min driving. When she had no single ladys XS snowboard pants, she lied that she does. I specifically asked for small sizes but this place barely had a couple of Ls and XLs. I also specifically asked skinny pants. She said YES like she has 100s of them. Like it was obvious. Then she tried to sell me boxy girls XL snowboard pants saying this is ladys small. Liar.

This chain has a much smaller footprint than Dicks Sporting Goods which is just a few blocks away. Overall I found their prices to be better than Dicks and the personnel more willing to assist being that its a much smaller store and people are more available in general.If you are looking for good prices on clothing this is the better choice than Dicks Sporting Goods. Their clearance racks have great stuff for under $10. One particular associate, Amir, helped me out alot and would not accept a gratuity for his help.

Theres so many stores and shops around this Big 5 but if youre looking for anything Fitness Outdoors Sports this is the place to go even AAA is in the center if you need a make a payment for your insurance everythings convenient lots of restaurants in this Center

Revamped store. This place has the best prices on just about any sports gear you could need. Usually staff is descent and lines usually arent too long.

My family spent 30 minutes in this store waiting for assistance in the footwear Dept. and never received assistance. We cancelled our purchase of about $150. The staff needs to be trained in customer service. I will take my business elsewhere.

Im writing this review bevause I have been on hold for 10 minutes with a simple question about exercise equipment.... Get it together, Id rather just order something online now rather than wait.Also your hold music is so loud its painfulAmazon is gonna put you guys out of business if you dont innovate...

Reasonably priced, better than Dicks sports goods 5 mins away. Not a big store, but they usually have what I want. They stock according to season and what kids are playing in the area. Parking may be a pain if the place gets crowded.

Such rude staff, and mediocre merchandise. Also, the firearms clerk is a real jack@$$. Sold me a faulty shotgun, it jammed up on me despite the care and maintenance I gave it, and my team almost had to forfeit the skeet shooting tournament. Fortunately I knew a good gun smith who helped fix the problem, but even he said that these people should be ashamed of themselves for selling such shoddy merchandise. They were very rude to me when I complained about the incident, refused to do anything about it, despite the fact it was their fault for selling me a faulty shotgun. Its hard enough to get a firearm in this stupid state of CA, but these people make it worse. The store is poorly organized, and Im tired of the deficient, lazy, rude cashiers who chat with each other about weekend plans instead of helping customers.

The staff is great, but the manager is a bit of an uptight jerk. He got bent out of shape when I took pictures of the merchandise. I was making a purchase, but made me feel unwelcome.

In the age of Amazon, sometimes its nice to walk in and try something out before buying it. And they have fishing licenses here.

Dont be fooled buy those great prices in the ads...
