Sam was suppose to hold a vehicle for me. He had talked to my loan officer, my loan officer told him we were good to go if he would hold the vehicle for me until I could get down there on Tuesday. Well Sam sold the vehicle on Monday, didn’t even have the decency to call me to let me know. So on Tuesday I called and texted him, no response so I drove TWO hours with my one year old to pick up the vehicle. He wasn’t there and his co-worker was the one that informed me that the vehicle was sold. This place is a joke, and very unprofessional. I will never recommend this place or do business with them.

Very friendly and quick service. They charged an agreeable and fair rate to have my battery replaced. I had my vehicle towed to their shop after hours and they called first thing in the morning to have it fixed. I was able to pick up my vehicle that same afternoon.

Very kind good reputable people at this business. I drove 7 hours to buy a car with 6k miles on it. I had my suspicions because of some of the reviews on here. But after meeting Andy and Sam and talking to them I quickly realized they are honest, considerate and made the deal to make me happy. They were very reasonable and it was a pleasure doing business with them. As promised I am leaving a review after I drove the car for 5 months. No problems at all! The car is even under original manufactures warranty. They are not shady and I do believe if you have a concern or a problem that Sam would be very willing to work with you. There were no issues with the Title...they did what they promised and transferred it. It took a little longer because I am out of state but all is well. Happy customer here! Thank you guys.

These guys were absolutely amazing. My husband and I needed a new SUV and were so exhausted from the seemingly endless search. We stopped here on a hunch from a few options we saw on their website. So glad we did. In my 30 years of existence I have never been able to say that I’ve had a pleasant car buying experience, until now. They went above and beyond to help us get financing. They made sure the vehicle was in optimal shape. Even offering to put new tires on, with no extra expense to us. An oil change when they detailed it for us before pickup. The list goes on.Most importantly we weren’t ripped off. We negotiated and it was fair to both parties. It’s a wonderful feeling. I honestly can’t recommend these guys enough. They had the vehicle we wanted at the price we needed. They crunched the numbers to help us get approved. After we left the lot there was an issue with the vehicle and Sam took care of it. He worked with us to ensure the vehicle was running. He was happy to check everything we asked him to. Unfortunately were still having issues with the vehicle. If they ask if you want extended warranty I would suggest dont. It probably wont cover the issue. For a used car dealership, a used car is what you get. I would recommend getting your mechanic to check it out first.

Me and my daughter both purchased our vehicles from here and it was the best experience!! Andy was amazing the owner was sweet and patient and willingto work with me!! I would go back in a heart beat and send people there as much as I can!!! Id give 6 stars if I could!!!

I purchased a car payed with cashiers check 21 days ago. I still havent received my title. My temp. Tag expires in 6 days. I will never buy from them again. The women in the office was very rude. I didnt enjoy buying my car here. I will never purchase anything from here. I will make sure to let all my friends in Franklin County Florida know what a pain it was to pay cash for a car here. Very disappointed.

Buyers beware. Advise extreme caution doing business with their RV lot in Panama City. They practice dealership tactics with promises unfullfilled and misrepresentation on purchase agreements. Over 45 days and we still do not have the corrected paperwork to apply for our title transfer. Numerous emails and a certified letter have produced no results. You are forewarned. I do not recommend them in any way.

Sam is the owner and a great guy. He will try to work with you as much as he can. They used to have a lot on 23rd st. with all of the rvs and boats, but the lady that was managing it, scammed him and his business out of a lot of money and caused him to close that lot. She gave the business a real bad name and I know from experience. She took me for $4700. Its not his fault though and he lost a ton of money because of her too. If you need a decent car, go see him.

I did not buy from Outdoor Recreation World on my first 2 visits. They didnt have the vehicle was i looking for and they were upfront about it and invited us back if we didnt buy elsewhere . I have bought 2 vehicles from Sam and Andy in the past month. These guys are the type of salesman I would recommend to my mother. I took the time to read the other reviews before writing this one and I can say this. After car shopping for over a year I found the devil is in the dealership. This place is not like any other. My wife and I were treated with respect and honesty. At other lots I have had horrible experiences, been disrespected and talked down to. Not here!! These guys gave us fair prices from the start. Looking at some of the other reviews its clear most of the people who gave negative reviews of Outdoor Recreation World DID NOT do their research before car shopping. I on the other hand did and when dealing with these guys they were right on the money with their first offer both times I bought from them. The first vehicle i bought without a trade and although the price was in book range the truck needed some minor repairs. They negotiated the price to accommodate the repair. The second vehicle I traded my wifes car and was offered the most fair trade value I could have expected and gave a price so close to book I could not even argue. No need to negotiate. They were right there we should have been. If you are looking to buy a used vehicle do your research and then go see these guys. Im certain you will find they have the most fair deals in town. guys will be my go to in the future. I would recommend them every time to anyone.One foot note. Buying a used car is ALWAYS a gamble. Buyer be ware! Its your responsibility to do your research and inspect the vehicle closely.

We had a great car buying experience with Outdoor Recreation World. The salesperson, Mark Mortimer, was fantastic with answering questions, giving us information, and getting some easy fixes on the car before we made a deal.

I have bought cars in the past from here and because they sell as is, the cars are not repaired just inspected so you know what youre getting. The salesmen are still fast talkers but they get the job done quickly. Financing is done onsite with Innovations Federal Credit Union and is generally really easy. We did feel like we were a burden to the bank associate because we were last minute on a saturday so while aggravated she was still patient. My daughter loves her first car and we will go back

My fiance purchased a 2012 GMC Acadia from these crooks a year ago. First sign we should have realized was the test drive was less than 2 miles because the salesman at the time advised us that since the fuel warning light was on, if we ran out of gas someone from their lot would come get us! I believe this was all by design to prevent possible buyers from getting a chance to check out the vehicle of interest due to potential issues the car has. We bought it naively. Since that day our vehicle was constantly in the shop. If we didnt have it in their shop,(which we do recommend Spanky, he is very genuine and an all around great guy) it was in another mechanics shop( due to there not being on opening to get our vehicle in). We spent thousands of dollars on this vehicle not including the payments!!! The last straw was the 4th time we needed an alternator. We went to Bill Cramer GMC to try to trade it in and come to find out our vehicle we purchased from Outdoor Recreation World was totally misrepresented for them to sale it. They omitted negative information on the car reports. We were told it was constantly serviced for routine maintenance and well taken care of. Come to find out our Acadia, first off was originally a rental car! Not only that, it had been in over 5 auctions due to being in a severe accident where it was critically damaged to the point the integrity of this vehicle was completely voided! We have 2 small children who were with us when we purchased that vehicle. They do not care about the people, just turnover. We were able to get rid of that nightmare where we were informed it will be totalled out. We now have a 2017 Acadia via Bill Cramer. Save yourself the hassle and go to a Real dealership. Obviously Outdoor Recreation World buys auctioned damaged vehicles on the cheap and sale them out to people who are desperate enough for a vehicle, which will cost you much more in the long haul.

I have bought two cars with them. Obviously the cars are used so they wont be perfect, but their whole team has been helpful to me. I have got a car from cody and shane both very helpful in their own. Now i am going to be getting my third car with them and this time im gonna gp through mark. Not every experience on here is completely true especially since some of these are very isolated incidents. But its PC most people are trying to get something for nothing. I would say form your own opinion by visiting them, dont waste time reading the negative reviews.

We decided to go through outdoor recreation because they go through our bank for loans.Of course initially, they were nice and bent over backwards to help get our business and money. Everything went fine until we drove the car off the lot. I drove the car to work the next day and driving home it almost stalled out at a red light. So I immediately call my fiance and the bank we went through to get the loan. We take it to Outdoor Recreation,and the guy that sold it to me was more worried about another sale and left me there crying while he went on a test drive. I drove the car to the service department which is right beside the car lot and as soon as i get out the service manager is yelling at the salesman Im too busy. We arent gonna be able to look at it until later today. Im standing right there and after hearing him say that and the treatment i had recieved after the sale set me off. I told him itll stay how ever long it has to to be fixed. We just agreed to pay 10,000 for a car and or wasnt even driveable. THIS WAS NOT A GOOD START AND I KNEW WE HAD MADE THE WRONG DECISION. We literally had to wait til the manager came back and he had to go talk to the service manager. They say ok no problem we will fix it. One of the spark plugs was rigged with black tape instead of a boot so it was arcing or whatever and causing the idling problem. Ok first of all this means, they DID NOT do a thorough inspection of the vehicle, or just didnt care. So the manager comes back and apologizes and says they have fixed the problem. So we drive off. We get a couple of miles down the road and the engine light comes back on. So we take it to our mechanic so he can diagnose it. We had already seen how their service department worked and didnt really trust them to correctly diagnose or fix the problem. It was coding a stopped up catalytic converter. This is two days after we got it. So we take it back to recreation world and they say theyll order the part and fix it. We bought it as is and we were happy that they were gonna do this out of their pocket to make us happy. So a week passes we havent heard anything so my fiance calls. They say bring it friday we will fix it. So we took it and had the problem fixed or so we thought. We had already had problems and didnt trust these people so took it to our mechanic so he could make sure everything was right. The converter was warped, the spring loaded bolts were cut off and it was leaking exhaust into the cabin. He said he wouldnt let them touch his golf cart. And literally laughed at them calling themselves mechanics. He couldnt fix it permanently without cutting and re welding the piece they warped. He said that he has had tons of business coming from their so called service department rigging stuff.When we bought the truck they said they would replace the passenger seat belt clip as well still havent heard anything from them. We arent letting them look at the truck again much less touch it to repair the seat belt clip. I usually dont write posts but this has been one of the WORST EXPERIENCES EVER and feel people should hear my experience before doing any dealings with these people. We knew there were gonna be some issues with buying a used car but this is bologna. I almost feel like they screwed the catalytic converter up on purpose because they were too busy and didnt wanna work on my car. I will not ever buy anything or have any dealings with these people again. I will spread my story as far and wide as possible to prevent this happening to someone else. As soon as we had that first issue, I shouldve listened to our banker and got our check back. I regret that now. We have had nothing but problems since we got it. And have only had it for going on three weeks.*****Watch them try to say our records indicate we have never done business with *******. Thats what id say too if I was a p.o.s. screwing people over out of their hard earned money. WRONG. Ive got all the paperwork to prove it.
