Few months ago I Brought my gfs truck in for a steering and suspension check due to popping when turning the steering wheel. I said “there’s popping when turning the steering wheel even when I’m at a stop” I also told them “I did the side to side check and there’s definitely some play (wiggle room) that’s not suppose to be there” long story short..they replaced the subframe and lower control arms. $1500 dollars later (half for labor) same issues started happening. I guess it’s My own fault for trusting random mechanics thinking they’d let me know if anything else is wrong or about to go wrong due to the life span of the parts. I guess they just wanted me to come back hoping for another big payday. Now today..both tie rod ends were loose and (the boots) were both ripped and busted and both sway bar links were barely hanging on and dripping grease all over.(don’t you think if you’re doing a steering and suspension check you’d notice if the parts are getting close to end life span?) You’d think they’d mention something like “hey might need to get these serviced in the near future, tie rod ends and sway bar links if not serviced is deadly while driving” nope. Nothing. I’m very upset with them. Will never come back. I don’t even want a response from these guys. I don’t want to hear “I’m sorry call us and we will work it out” I’m just letting people know. Make sure you know and trust your mechanics!

Please think twice before taking your car here. A few months back, my car was making clunking/creaking noises and the steering was off so we took it in to Midas to get looked at. They inspected the whole front end/steering and tires, and said the issue was the control arms and replaced them (costing about $1500), never said anything else about the vehicle…Today, I take it into Bergstrom for an alignment and they tell me they can’t do it because of front end/steering issues. There was excessive play in steering rack, and creaking from front strut mounts - Midas never told us any of this. Also, my bf replaced the tie rod ends and sway bar links and noticed they were completely bad/faulty - another thing Midas didn’t tell us. I don’t normally write bad reviews but I don’t want anyone else getting screwed out of there money like we did.

If you want your car fixed the right way go to midas,These guys are good.

I originally had my car inspected by a different auto repair shop in oshkosh and was quoted $450 for front brakes. I ended up calling Midas and spoke with Jeff who quoted me $200 less!!! Obviously I went with Midas for the repair and am VERY happy with their work and prices. I will be returning for more repairs in the future. Thanks Jeff for that Midas touch! :)

Jeff and his team are great, and its a relief having a place I trust to work on my vehicle. The name may technically be a chain store, but the service and ownership is way above and beyond a chain store. I have been a customer for about 10 years and have never had a bad experience.

Very poor customer service. My son recently had his muffler and gas line serviced here. There was a lack of communication on their side of when the car would be done. It was sorted out and the car was returned. Two days after the car was returned it died on the road. The car had to be towed and was at another auto shop for a few days. The new auto shop finally found the problem and told us the problem was likely due to my recent work at Midas. Pictures showing what caused the car to die from the new auto shop were sent to Midas. Midas continues to deny that they did anything wrong. The new auto shop even called Midas, but Midas wont listen to them. Would not recommend getting car service done here! Sent 2 complaints to corporate but never heard back.

Called ahead of time to see if they could install my brakes said yes so I asked how much it would cost told me itd be around $90 brought the car in they took a look at my car and once they got to working on it they said I would need a few extra parts totaling over $200 which I was fine with because Im sure it was needed. after it was done the brake lights, abs, tcs control lights were still on I drove back and asked if there was something he could do. He plugged his machine in and said Ill have to look into this and walked away I sat there for at least 30 minutes but he never came back. Never asked me if I wanted to schedule a time for him to look at or that hed be back out in a minute. Communication is key, and to me there was no communication.

I was happy with the service. They gave me 2 options for fixing my exhaust. Very affordable prices. I was in and out much quicker than expected. .

Taken all of my vehicles here for the past 5-7 years for various maintenance.. Everything from an oil changes to major work. I can say this location is honest, will shop the best price for you and get the job done with integrity.

I have my truck serviced regularly here and the service is always great. The last time I had the oil changed there was an older couple who stopped in as they were traveling through WI. Their brakes were squeeling too bad to continue. The manager (Jeff) not only made sure that the van was fixed, he offered to let them use his personal vehicle to go have breakfast (it was obvious that he had never met this couple before). The couple happily accepted the offer while Midas fixed their van! If that is not going above and beyond... I dont know what is. The world needs a few more people like this manager. Midas won customers for life with my family after this experience. Great company that hires great people.

Jeff and his guys really know their stuff. They always work hard to get my truck in and work with my very busy schedule. I just had a wheel bearing go out. A locale dealer gave me a quote of $500. I took it to Midas and I payed $320. The dealer also wanted me to pay for the quote. I wont need to be getting two prices anymore. Ill just take it right to Midas.

These guys always do a good job. Ive been coming here close to 10years and never had any issues. They tell you how it is and what needs to be done without any BS. Unlike a Bergstrom or a CarX you wont be paying double. I saved $200.00 on coming to Midas instead of CarX! Yeah, thats alot of Robert Dinero! So save your time and $$$ and go to Midas! Talk to Jeff hes a good guy who wont do you wrong.

Worst decision ive ever made in my life. 867$ repair for my truck to be more messed up then when it went it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! was lied to repeatedly and treated as if i was the dumbest person on earth. cant give zero stars but if i could this place would be lower than that.

Friendly service, but last time I took my vehicle there for service I felt like they were trying to hide the ball. My free brake inspection became a $100 to put my rear brakes back together.

Made on line appt after hours for the next day between 2 & 4. Vehicle was towed there by 11am for a rear brake job. Called at 3 to see what was up. Mgr was flustered on phone. 6 rolls around no call and there now closed. What a joke! Took Uber to and from work. Mgr called next day blah blah blah. I said do the repair called back at 1pm to say it was done. Then mgr refused to honor 10% military discount which another mgr said they do honor the discount on large repairs which is understandable. He went on to say Ill give u the standard val pak discount which is $30 over $300. He only deducted $15 off the bill which makes no sense. Oh, I can give u $15 off your next service?? Can I get that in writing, Oh wait lets call midas customer relations instead. On another occasion mgr said tire companies r stupid and they sell tires? I had 2 tires mounted inside out by them and didnt realize till i got home. Mgr said its not a big deal. U scrwed it up. Theres a reason tires say inside and ouside. Omg is this guy for real. Went back and they mounted them correctly no charge. I assumed they mounted them correclty and should of checked before leaving. Mistakes happen but to tell customer its fine and it isnt is total BS. Unacceptable business practice. Local news target investigation perhaps
