Midwest top did a phenomenal job on both my Triumph and Honda motorcycle seats. Steve was great, a true artist. His experience and attention to detail made all the difference to re sculpt my factory seats. I was looking to still utilize the factory pan and seat cover, but needed to have the seats reshaped to reflect a lower,narrower overall smoother look to the seat which would enhance the riding position and complement the style of the motorcycle.Midwest Tops went above and beyond and knocked it out of the park.

Let me start by saying you will be hard pressed to find a company that can do interiors better than this place. From the quality of their work to the price they charge this place cannot be beat. Steve and the whole crew are wonderful people. I had multiple quotes on having new carpet installed and a bench seat reupholstered in my boat. This company was 30% cheaper than the competition. You need not look any further then Midwest Auto tops.

Took my 92 Mustang convertible in to replace the original 29 year old top . Had to wait a while for the top to be ordered and was called to bring vehicle in 2 weeks later . Dropped car off on Tuesday and they called on Friday and said it was ready. Went in an looked car over and seen it was done very well . Fit and finish was great. I would recommend them for top replacement. Also saw some of there handy work on some other projects as well . Thanks 👍👍

Just had my Honda Ruckus seat Re-Upholstered and covered in a non slip material on the seat. The seat feels and looks Awesome. Will definitely be back for future reupholstering work.

I had my sunroof replace . Tan Buick Lasabre, it was after market roof . They found me new one put it in . Very quick about 1 -hour and half . Would diffidently be using them again . Very happy customer. ask for Steve he is the best .

I brought my car in at 8:45 a.m. to have the seat back and bench seat leather installed and it was done by 2:00 p.m. The people front desk are very polite and helpful and the technicians do beyond top tier work! My seats look brand new and I couldnt be happier with the results!

They repaired my factory sunroof. STEVE and his staff are simply Wonderful People...Period.

Our RX 330 sunroof got stuck one day. We were referred to Steve by the body shop. Steve initially researched and found out Lexus parts are very expensive. He advised us to close the sunroof for good at a reasonable price. Since we dont use sunroof use much we agreed upon. It worked, however after sometime water started leaking from sunroof . We called him up and he resealed the sunroof and told us that he always stand by the customer. Now that is very impressive and I would recommend anyone to Midway Auto Tops. We were glad that we went to Steve.

I brought my old boat there to get a custom top made for it. Customer service was fantastic. Everything was explained very well and they made sure I was happy with the product. The price was lower than the competitors in the area and the craftsmanship was amazing. I can not recommend this place enough.

I gave this business 5 stars because the first time I went to there I spoke to the owner told him what I wanted done for my upholstery work. They did an outstanding job, they did exactly what I asked. Great prices and quality work. Would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get any sort or high quality upholslty work.

Just got my Miata soft top replaced it was quick and it looks fantastic all set for the summer.

Horrible service. We are a dealership and decided to give this shop a try after hearing the good reviews. We bang in a 2016 Dodge Challenger which he did an alright job with fixing the sunroof, he charged a premium for the repair but we needed the car ready for a customer.Then we brought him a 2015 Camaro which needed a repaired headliner. He promised us it would be ready on a certain date and time, we even called the day before to confirm that everything was on schedule. When we got there the vehicle was taken apart, he told us he still didnt get to it treated us with horribly and gave us the worst attitude imaginable, we were stunned. We would have gladly waited for the headliner to be repaired but he simply decided we were not good enough for him and basically threw us and the vehicle out. We were as kind as could be and even brought him a coffee as we thought he was a kind man at first.We took a look at the headliner and it turned out that he basically broke it into multiple pieces, he ruined the interior of the vehicle, we are unsure if this was done by accident or on purpose after for some ill conceived reason. We ended up taking the Camaro to another interior repair shop and they told us that the headliner had now been repairable, we ended up having to pay $3,000 for a new headliner.Maybe the shop owner was in a bad mood or something, regardless customers shouldnt be treated this way and their vehicles shouldnt be butchered either. I would recommend that you stay away from his repair shop if you can, try to find somebody else as you never know what mood the owner will be in on the day you bring your car for repair.

Other than having a hard time getting thru to them by phone, they do excellent work.

Six months ago my car mechanic highly recommended Midwest auto tops and upholstery, for some interior work I needed done on my 1965 Olds 98 convertible, he will be working on it in Dec of 2018. since than he has repaired two of our other cars. the staff is exceptionally impressive, as honest as can be to say the least..today I took one our cars that needed some minor interior work, I did not have an appointment and they were not yet open. however as soon the owner noticed I was waiting he immediately came out to see what I needed done. although his shop was closed and full of cars to be repaired, he took the time and fixed my car outside. l was on my way out in less than an hour...excellent service very reasonable prices. Hats off to you and your entire staff Steve.....July 2-2019 because of the brutal winter we had, as well as unforeseen mechanical issues with my 1965 Olds, I took my car to Midwest Tops and upholstery, the later part of April..well, I picked it up yesterday afternoon just in time for the 4th of July....what a HUGE difference like new if not better. I absolutely love how it came out, so much that in addition to the great deal Steve,quoted I bought everyone at Midwest Auto, lunch today for doing such a fantastic breath taking job. you guys are a great team..I will absolutely enjoy taking my Olds, top down thru downtown Chicago, as well as along our famous lake sure drive. rain or shine, because not only did Steve and his team do the entire interior but also new new roof with a new motor, air tight tide...this car will now remain in our family just as has been since 1965. First experience, fine, second and last ever, NIGHTMARE. Moonroof got stuck open, all I needed was it to be closed and disconnected. They closed it PART WAY, and somehow managed to disconnect all the power to the rear of the car. Had to drive back 45min to have the power fixed and roof closed. Only to find out during the next rain (or snow melt in this case) that the roof STILL WAS NOT CLOSED ALL THE WAY. Now the headliner is soaking wet and water is all over my lewather seats. I would expect more from a company that advertises moon roof repair. I hope those Bentleys in the parking lot dont need moon roof repair from these guys.
