Man at the front checking for masks and returned items was pretty short/rude. However, the employee at the returns counter was pleasant and friendly. As long as you have your card you made the purchase on and it is still within the return period, returns are easy. Which is not common today. The nice return table attendant And the easy return process saved this from being a 2 star or 3 star review

I bought an open box computer that was supposed to have all the accessories in it. I drove home 3 1/2 hours only to find that the power cord was not in there so all I had was a 5lb paperweight. I called customer service and they told me my only options were to return it or buy a power cord. Not once did they take responsibility and ship a cord out to me. Ive done a lot of business with this company in the past but I think Im going to stick to amazon after this. Theyve lost a customer.

I went in and was looking for the iPhone 13. After seeing it was in stock online, I rushed to the store to find that it was still in stock! Since I needed to trade in another phone that I didnt have with me at the time, the Mobile Associate told me to order on Best Buy.com and he would pull it from the inventory for me to pick up later that week. I did exactly what he asked and made sure that he confirmed I did it correctly before leaving. I was so excited until I got an email about an hour later saying my order was delayed until November 26th and the phone was out of stock. I was just at the store and the associate literally told me it was mine. They also took the money out of my account and sold the phone anyway to someone else. I tried calling the store [which cannot be done anymore] and the national customer service associate let me know that she submit a ticket to have a manager reach out withing 24 hours. I never heard anything. Overall terrible experience and extremely disappointed.

Showed up just before 6:15pm to buy a new iPhone. I waited in the phone section for a good 7minutes and no one showed up. So I asked the Best Buy employee at the entrance to please call someone to come help me. About 12 minutes later someone finally showed up. It was then around 6:36 before someone finally got to me! Then the Best Buy employees proceeds to tell me that they stop doing phone activations at 6pm! Because it takes too long and employees can’t stay late. Give me a break Best Buy! I was literally trying to give you my money. I was ready to buy! The store closes at 7pm! Like why would you “close” and stop selling iPhones an hour before you actually close? I’m going to the Verizon store.

Was told my appt was at 1015. I was there at 1015 but no one was there yet. They said the guy is running a little late. Was told it would take 45 min to put antennae in for my Sirius. It is now 1:45. The guy working on my car has been on the phone almost the entire time talking about courts and lawyers as hes TRYING To do my car. Horrible experience and will never come again. Orem store.

I came in just to grab a laptop. I stood at the back help desk by the computers waiting to check out and get help for 35 minutes. The whole time I didn’t get a single person to come help me. None of the workers even said they’d be with me shortly. I waved one worker down and he said he’d be back but never came back. I finally got help just to find out they don’t have what I need in stock this whole time. The guy who finally helped was nice but overall terrible experience. Cashier was not friendly. I honestly don’t write reviews but this was bad

Was told awhile ago that the Store Manager was rude and needed to train the employees better as well as treat them better. Decided to try it anyway. Upon our arrival when asked if we needed assistance we said yes and was told someone would assist us, but no one came. Ended up leaving after trying to get some assistance. As a professional I know that lack of leadership starts at the top and the store manager has a lot if work ahead of them. Store was not that clean either.

Friendly staff. Pretty good inventory levels. I don’t think I come here much and don’t find what I’m looking for. Recently did a return and it was quick and painless. They checked the serial number of my AirPods against the order; and that’s pretty uncommon for retail employees to care that much. So kudos for employees that are really trying to do their best.

We went to buy an Apple Watch 44mm. After repeatedly telling the attendant what type of watch we wanted, he proceeded to check out and informed us we got a discount. He gave us the Apple Watch 40mm instead. We were so bummed to open it and discover it was not what we wanted.He seemed like he was on drugs. He had a hard time maintaining focus and he kept blanking out at times.

Luckily I have never had a bad experience in this Best Buy. I feel like I should have by this point but every time it has been pleasant. The staff is friendly and willing to help. Sometimes May seem a bit busy and you may have to wait a few minutes for assistance. However, I did curbside pickup during covid and they came out very quickly with my item!

Steven is my hero! I went in to get a new TV and he gave me a recommendation for a baller TV at a great price, got me checked out and loaded the TV in my car for me all within about 10 minutes. Best Buy has employees that are helpful and always up to any jovial comments I make to bring some fun into our transactions. Their Rewards membership is beneficial (improved return policies, among other things) and valuable in the percentage back you receive in points. Price Match makes it very simple to shop here, knowing that if they didnt start with the best price, theyll end with it, though I rarely need to invoke this due to fantastic deals. Online ordering is very simple and has a variety of options in delivery and pick-up. I also like how shopping here brings jobs to people I get to see and know in the area.

We needed variety to help us decide on a product. Best Buy had that, so that was our initial reason for going. The service was really great, not pushy, but knowledgeable and exactly as helpful as the customers wanted (I watched a couple of employees). The next day we needed some other things that we could have gotten on Amazon, but we had been so impressed that we went back to buy them and again, different employees, same results. Great customer service.

Meh. Probably my most disappointing visit here. The shelves are pretty bare, and the staff numbers are way down. I went to pick up a network cable. Empty shelves. There were only two sizes to chose from, both the Insignia brand. And not cheap.The printer shelves were completely bare. Nothing.I went to pay for the cable, and right near the register was a display with a couple of other network cables. They were a different brand, but the packaging was identical. And 1/3 the price of the other cable.I asked the cashier what the difference was. This one, (most expensive one), is better.Why?Its faster.How do you know that?My co-worker that knows a lot about that stuff told me.Bull. I bought both to test and see. Nope. Manufactured to the same spec, and no difference whatsoever in performance.I used to get great service and felt like the people helping me generally knew what they were talking about.Apparently, nott anymore.

Worst experience ever! I would never refer anybody to buy appliances from this company. Still waiting on an appliance that was planned to be delivered 3 days ago but they never contacted me until the window when they were supposed to deliver to let me know that its was on backorder just to find out today that its been in the store since yesterday but doesnt have a power cord which was ordered with it. So far Ive spent over three hours on the phone in all with them trying to confirm everything with nothing but headaches every time you talk to the one person its a different story than the last. Ridiculous never had such a difficult time purchasing a large appliance. Dont trust them unless you dont mind them wasting your time, they will not contact you to clarify anything theyll just wait till your delivery doesnt happen and you call them every step of the way. Most unprofessional large business Ive ever done dealt with.

Customer service team was very rude. I had a unique return situation and they were extremely short with me and literally laughed out loud at me as I walked away.Then I went to the American Fork location and they were soooo pleasant, kind, and sorted out my situation for me in less than 5 minutes. The American Fork location is an extra 20 minute drive for me but Ill absolutely make the drive past this Orem location, for better service and nicer associates. Id recommend doing to same to anyone reading this.

Instead of helping me with my problem they seemed happier to tell me I couldn’t be helped and there was no comfort or explanation of how they could make it work. This used to be an excellent Best Buy but my experience today was horrible. I couldn’t find any employees to help me and there was no one near the Apple area for over 20 min to ask questions. I finally had someone help me, but only after I walked up to them and asked (I waited in line at the register to be respectful but they never acknowledged me until I walked right up to them). I’m very disappointed in the customer experience I had today.

I asked three different employees to check if they had any in the back and all three said that they didnt know and didnt check when I asked them to.The first employee I dont remember what his name was completely ignored me and just walked out of the store. Customer service has sure gone to pot in the last few years. I called the local store to inquire about a problem and got the phone mail system who informed me that this store is not taking calls at this time. Following that was a series of annoying phone mail questions about my problem - after getting the run-around for several minutes I hung up and called Best Buy Corporate and got an answer to my question immediately. Five stars for Corporate, no stars for my local store - I had to give at least one start to post this.

Bought a pair of Sony headphones on sale. Was deciding between different colors. Was told that if I bought the blue pair, I could exchange it for another color within 14 days. Bought it. Changed my mind, brought it back 2 days later to exchange the color.Headphones werent on sale anymore so I was expected to pay $100 to swap colors. Are you kidding? Obviously they could have done something, but they blamed the system (it wont let me change the price!!) Took no ownership. They obviously could have done something but instead chose to provide horrible customer service.

This place is usually so well sorted and staffed. However, when I arrived, there were several employees chatting with the greeter, and nobody really acknowledged us for the first several minutes. We took it upon ourselves to try to find what we were looking for ourselves, and split up. Although the employees continued to chat, at least two shoppers stopped to interrupt the conversation and they were pointed off to the back of the store; the employees remained socializing. After about 10 minutes, we interrupted as well and received the same send off with pointing in the general direction. Still at a loss we looked for an employee within the store and there were scant few. Without receiving any help from employees, we asked some other consumers who were shopping in the store and finally found the general area. The entire trip should have taken 15 minutes but we were there for over an hour, settled in the item we picked because nobody seemed to be able to provide the flow through Im used to seeing at best buyDefinitely an odd day for this place

Best buy is a great place to pick up some electronics. If you are in doubt of something this is the place to go there staff is literally itching to answer your questions. Expect at least three of them to approach you while you walk around. They are extremely courteous and knowledgeable.

Called in to inquire about a TV repaire. After a 7 min wait, I talked to a gal that said I could bring it in and that they would diagnose it for free. I then asked if I could chat with a technician to see if it was even work my time. After another 5ish min wait the line when dead. They hung up on me.So I drove 15 mins to bring it in. Stood in line for a few mins at the Geek squad line and when it was my turn she asked if i had an apt. I said no. Then she let those who did, two gentlemen, pass me. I waited some more.When I finally was attended to I was told that they dont have the equipment to fix or even to diagnose TVs at the store and that they only work on products with a service warranty purchased in store. WOW!! WHAT A WASTE OF TIME.

I ordered a computer mouse and got one-day shipping because my mouse was broken, and a computer is pretty hard to use without a mouse. The shipment was cancelled by Best Buy, with no reason given. Although it has been over 3 months since they cancelled my order, I still have not received any sort of refund. I guess this is just Best Buys way of reminding me never to shop at their store.

Every time I go to Best Buy (orem specifically) they always direct me to the best product specific for what I need. Where they easily could’ve tried to talk me into something that’s way more than what I need. They’ve proven to me time & time again that they’re there to actually help you find the best thing for what you intend on doing not what is more expensive. Also, they are the most reasonably priced for electronics in just about any store I’ve been to. Including gaming which is crazy how good of deals they have for their games as well. I highly recommend to anyone looking for electronics they will find what you need even if they don’t have it in store. They actually know what they are talking about.

Been here a few times, always handy to stop by when I need to pick up something quickly.They now have curbside pickup offered here, which is a nice bonus, though it can take a while for them to bring items out. When the employee finally did come out, he only brought items one at a time, doing to each car and then returning to the building and coming out another five minutes later with a single item for another car.Oddly, despite being asked which stall number I parked in and for the type and color of the car, when he brought my item out he went to every car asking if it was their item. Not sure if it was just a very busy night (there were a number of customers coming and going from the store), a new employee or something else, but not a great experience overall.

The employee that helped us was amazing! Despite being very busy, having a constant stream of customers, and being this close to Christmas he handled it all in stride and was very helpful! He made sure we had everything we needed and had all of our questions answered. He didnt let the stress of constant customers rush us through the purchase and set up of a new phone for our son for Christmas. Five stars for such an amazing employee!!!

Honestly Im pretty disappointed with the staff here. I was in car audio for about 15 minutes and had made eye contact with several employees hoping theyd come help me. Not a big issue there. I went over to the Apple section and asked for help and they point me to someone on the opposite side of the store who wasnt wearing a Best Buy or a Geek Squad shirt. As Im walking up, he walks away and asks another person if they need help. Finally I get someone to come over with me and I asked for some advice on what speakers to get for my car. This guy said that no matter the brand, the size is the only thing that matters. I get the correct size and purchase them. I took the door panel off my car and start installing the speaker and they dont fit at all. About an hour of work and the speakers dont even fit. Ive been shopping here pretty faithfully for years but this may change me to another location or store.

The service here is outstanding. I was looking for a eufy doorbell. It was not anywhere i could see. Talked to one of the people at the service desk. They helped me right away. So I haven’t been coming to this location often since I joined the military. Over the course of multiple trips over the course of 10 years I haven’t been in a worse Best Buy. Today it was the cashier who had an attitude. The label for the open box said that all the pieces where there but clearly the yellow car is missing. She said with an attitude that it was probably in the box and then got mad when we wanted to check to make sure.

Didnt have what I wanted in stock, but the blue shirt placed the order for me right there for delivery. Friendly and super helpful.Update.. after my visit and post I have to change my review. Been waiting for my printer to be delivered for 4 days now. Was told in each consecutive call that my order was all in order and would receive it that day. Still no printer. The customer service rep wouldnt even let me speak to a supervisor and transferred my call to the shipping company. After talking with them found out that my package is still in the warehouse and not scheduled for delivery. I am so disappointed in best buythat I will no longer be a customer considering that I was lied to repeatedly about my order. Should of just went to Walmart. Went looking at new phones and computer equipment. Despite shortages in parts right now (IYKYK) they had a few things to make a decent build off the shelf, andgreat selction of accessories for a desktop and workspace. In terms of phones, I found the one I wanted and could fumble with it, which was nice. I appreciated one thing in particular, and that was the staff. Im not one to ask too many questions so I wont ask for too much help, just cause I research my stuff before. But I was not bombarded with too much help. Super disappointed in Best Buy. I bought 3-75 inch TVs with mounts. When my electrician went to install them, one of them had a broken screen out of the box. Upon taking it back to Best Buy for an exchange they essentially called me a liar and said someone had kicked the screen and broke it! “There is no way it could’ve been broken in transit”. I’ve been purchasing electronics from this store in Orem for at least 10 years and unfortunately this will be the last purchase. I would recommend opening the box on every purchase to make sure there is no damage because they have a zero tolerance for anything being wrong with their Purchase and will accuse you of damaging the product. Buyer beware!

I walked in passed a half dozen masked employees chatting at the front door and straight back to the laptops. The employee at the laptops was more invested in his phone and what was going on in the section next to him than helping the people in his area because he walked passed us 3 times before someone felt compelled to approach him for assistance. When I was able to talk to him he was knowledgeable and informative and helped me immensely with deciding what to buy.

I went into best buy to see which earbuds were right for me because my family is going on a road trip to Oregon (and my sisters fight quite a bit) I asked for help from one of the computer guys and one seemed to not want to help him, it was hard to talk to him with what seemed to be a sour attitude. He didnt give me any advice on what ones or the rating of them. However, when a specialist came to help me he was a lot nicer and answered all my questions. He said which one was the best and recomended me the earbuds (picture below) and said the ratings were very good. He made the shopping trip worth while!

After taking my money, they rescheduled my delivery 3 times in 3 concecutive days because of stock issues. I understand items being out of stock, but not 3 days in a row needing to be rescheduled. They didnt offer an explanation other than it being out of stock or offer any discounts/incentive/compensation for the delay/trouble/issues. They have lost a customer over their poor website, poor customer service, and poor handling of a simple situation.

This is the best buy I go to when I want to do research, due to current events I cant really trust that what Im looking for is going to be in stock but the staff try their damndest to help me find either a suitable substitute or a way to get me the item even if it means Im not buying at their location.

This location could use some updates. The tags are all non-electric. The floors are really old carpet, could use new carpet and some wood floor in places. The workers here are helpful enough, but are way understaffed and always unavailable. Selection is alright and curbside pickup is very convenient and allows social distancing.
